Anyway, the debate has ended now, with Akash Chopra receiving egg in his face and searching for the next individual who will make him famous. At least one good thing has come out of the entire debate. The selectors didn't had any option other than to drop Rahul.

Don't really care about the entire Chopra-Prasad crap to be honest, but I feel sad to see Rahul getting screwed because of all this even though he totally deserves to get kicked from the test and ODI formats.

I have always liked his calm demeanor and he has been involved in very few controversies which is why he doesn't deserve to be disrespected like crazy just because of his bad performances in recent times.

He deserves many chances only in the T-20 format due to his experience and shot variety.

KL Rahul performance wasn't good throughout and he has been scoring badly since long time so everyone had this question why he's in team.  There are many fresh, new and talented players in Indian team and who deserves to play for their country .

I was reading this article wherein they mentioned that almost half of the Australian side has returned home after losing two test matches against India.

I have also watched a local news about this. Maybe they are going back to the home after losing the first two test matches very badly . The first innings of the second test match was a bit competitive, but we have seen batting disaster of Australia in the second innings. I won't be surprised if Australia lose the next two matches as well. And there is a chance to see the WTC final between India and Sri Lanka if it happens.

If India can beat Australia in the next two Tests, they can move to the first position with rating points, but if the match is a draw, India will remain in the second position.

LOL... Harry Brook may or may not be the new superstar, but definitely not in test cricket. This guy scored 184 runs from 169 balls, at a strike rate of 109 in a test match. And that too in a pitch that offered enough support to the seamers at Basin Reserve, Wellington. Not sure what happened to the Kiwis. They had the best pace attack in the world, at least in tests. But now they have lost crucial members of their team such as Boult, Jamieson and Ferguson, and as a result their performance has gone down the drain. Neil Wagner is there, but he has been out of form for some time now.

England are taking the job seriously to change the way of playing test cricket. They're performing like ODIs style in Test cricket under Ben Stokes. It has been demonstrated that taking risks even on consistent manner can pay off. Like today Root and Broke combo not only recovered from an early 3 wicket damages, but also posed a respectable score 315/3 (65 overs) at the end of the day. Harris played well but sadly the bad weather prevented him from getting double ton. This is ridiculous mad batting from English batters, however this is entertaining at the same time.

We are living in Bazball era as far as English cricket is concerned. Look back and noticed the vast difference between the previous regime and the current one.

This is an exciting phase for English cricket and so far they have been very successful but at the same time, their biggest challenge would be away Ashes (not in this cycle) and Indian Tour.

At the start of the second day, New Zealand will have to hope that they can get both of these set batsmen. Because otherwise, it is going to be really hard for New Zealand to stay in this test match.

The England team was able to easily win the first test against New Zealand. And they continued to dominate in the second Test as well. Although not all of England's batsmen have performed well, Joe Root and Harry Brook have been playing brilliantly. Harry Brook returned to the dressing room with 186 runs. And Joe Root is still unbeaten with 149 runs. Besides, no other batsmen on the team performed well. England lost 8 wickets by collecting 427 runs. Probably England team will be able to collect around 460. This is quite a large collection. New Zealand batsmen are not in good form. I don't think the New Zealand batsmen can make such a big collection against the experienced bowlers of England.
