No doubt they have quality batter and bowler but they can't execute the way they need and such kind of thing is not good for any team before ICC event because it's degrade the player moral which will put them under pressure. But anyhow if they work on Thier mistakes hope it will be tough team of the world cup

Lankan are badly down and out for sometime as they can give good results at home in away conditions they need good change which is not possible quickly with their domestic setup is also not ideal for this all like we have in few other Asian countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan.

James Anderson has played more Test matches than Mothia Muralidharan but to break Muralidharan's record of 800 wickets he needs to play more matches which is not possible for him. James Anderson is almost 40 years old and may announce his retirement anytime. Moreover, if he can play 10-15 more matches, he can break Shane Warne's record. Moreover, if it is announced earlier, then he can be retired from the third position.
Today he is around 41 years old and has already played 179 Test matches and collected 685 wickets. He participated in 194 ODI matches and collected 191 wickets. Although he has not announced his retirement from ODIs, he may soon announce his retirement from Test cricket.

I am wondering how he is maintaining his fitness levels at this age. Actually he looks much better in shape when compared to his younger colleagues such as Mark Wood and Ollie Robinson. A fast bowler bowling with a heavy workload at the age of 41 is just insane. This is an age when even the spinners struggle with their rhythm and fitness. And we have the examples of fast bowlers such as Dale Steyn and Jasprit Bumrah, who were forced to take extended breaks as a result of injury issues.

BTW, you can't compare James Anderson and Muttiah Muralitharan using the number of wickets per match metric. In the case of Muttiah Muralitharan, it was like he was the only quality bowler they had in their squad, and therefore most of the workload was taken by him. That is not the case with Anderson. There are other quality bowlers in the current England squad and he doesn't need to bowl 40% or 45% of the overs.
