USA vs Namibia

Namibia won the toss and choose to field.  USA batsman are definitely struggling infront of Namibian ballers they lost 4 early wickets  and  now USA is on 151 runs 7 outs in 41 overs .
USA if they will retain their wickets can give target of maximum 200 because their run rate is slow and alot of pressure is developed on them by Namibia. 

The USA set a target of 212 runs. It is difficult to win with such low targets. Even then, if the USA bowlers were able to perform well, they would have won this match. But the performance of USA bowlers today is poor. At the end of 38 overs, Namibia collected 177 runs with the loss of only 3 wickets. Namibia needs just 35 runs from 12 overs to win. . Namibia can easily win today's match.

The United States managed to save their wickets and play the full 50 overs but they could not make much progress in terms of runs.  They missed almost every ball and managed to get to 211 with only a few single runs but the Namabiers are not playing very well either.  But with the runs they scored, they are capable of winning today's match.  They still have 10 overs to go and need to score 29 which is not too difficult

Arshdeep is someone who was picked for the team because of his swing. But he does not have so much pace. He can bowl at an average of, 129/130 km/h. And once the ball gets older, and there is no huge swing in offer, he basically becomes useless.

Right now, if a fastballer has to have speed in his repertoire. Otherwise, he cannot have success, even though he has swing. Right now most of the balls which are used in cricket are Kookaburra. And we know that Kookaburra balls are not well known for swing.

So, I think India should really think about giving someone else the chance of proving himself, because, unless Arshdeep Singh can increase his pace to at least 140+, I don’t think he’s going to be effective in the long run.

You are implying that medium fast bowlers have no venom in their art, which is not correct at all. Sam Curran another left-arm medium fast bowler bagged a man of the tournament in a recent T-20 WC.

Regarding kookaburra ball, well if a pitch is not suitable then yeah it hardly swings but if the deck has some grass and a bit of assistance then it swings a lot, recent WC is a good example. Kookaburra stops swinging after 10-15 overs tho but don't forget there are 2 new balls for each inning in 50 overs format.

India will definitely want to beat New Zealand in the next match. New Zealand managed to beat India by a big margin in the first match. However, India have recovered from their mistakes and are ready to beat New Zealand in the next match.

Afghanistan both site were outstanding today match against Sri Lanka. Afghanistan batters done their job 1st innings and bowlers did 2nd innings. It was very good match for Afghanistan. Afghanistan won by 60 runs. It is big win against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka didn’t do their job as well they were underdressed in that match. Hopefully, they will be come back in very next match cz they have the good team as well.

Really good performance came from the batters and bowlers of Afghanistan. Lost their first wicket at 84 runs and the second wicket at 202 runs. This partnership helped the team make a good target. Zardan made a century and just incredible. To the efforts made by the batsmen, the bowlers gave good support taking wickets. Particularly Farooqi and Naib had a good wicket taking match. From Sri Lanka Nissanka and Hasaranga contributed good.

Sri Lanka is having the worst time as recently below after below bringing down their moral and game badly which is never been ideal situation for them because recently too many controversies hit them and now on ground they lost first ODI against Afghanistan badly which is another below for them firs Afghanistan done good job in batting, and they were able to score very good target of 294 with the help of Zardan century even in last five overs Sri Lankan bowlers fight back and restricted them at this score because once mostly were feeling in this match Afghanistan is going to touch figure of 325 to 330.

After this amazing performance Afghani bowlers done another good spell of match winning performance which help them to restricted Sri Lankan top order very quickly but at the end Hasaranga were able to have done good performance which help them to lose this match by just 60 runs with this defeat now their chances are down for the automatic qualification into world cup.

Usa team was able to play there 50 overs but collected only 211 runs. In the end its an easy victory for Namibia who have more experience of international crikcet then usa. Ian Holland and Singh are top scorer from USA. Even after this defeat usa is at number 3 ahead of Namibia on points table.

In fact, my intention is not to say that a medium-fast bowler does not have any art. As a medium-fast bowler, you have to be deceptive because otherwise, they will go for many runs. I do not think that Arshdeep Singh actually has that much variation. He does not even have a reliable slower ball. That’s why I think he is not effective enough in the middle and late part of the innings when the ball is not moving that much.

In the first match, India lost to New Zealand by a big margin. Kane Williamson and Latham's contribution behind New Zealand's victory. But in the next match, India will look to turn around, maybe by now India have found their team's mistakes and worked on them and are well prepared for the next match. But on the other hand, New Zealand will make every effort to continue their winning streak.

Recently New Zealand has been very inconsistent. That is what I am fearful about because I don’t think they will be able to continue playing like how they did in the last match. The next match is going to be pivotal for both teams. I actually enjoy competitive cricket, so I hope that this match won't be lopsided.

Saving wickets having not big impact on the USA as they were ended with just target of 212 which was really not near a good target with Namibia which is doing good in last few matches they achieve this easily without any problem in just 45 overs with the lost of 4 wickets all top order batsmen manage good contribution in Namibia win which is good signal for them as they are improving their performance they are also cutting gape between them and USA in CWC Super League 2 now we have some off days with next match is going to play on 1st December as again these teams could be able to join action packed cricket which is going to be good for the improvement of the quality and performance for them in coming years.

Indian cricket is happy to find an effective left-arm seamer (Arshdeep) and you are talking about replacing him 

He bowls tough overs in the T-20 (Death overs), he does his job beautifully and I guess he proved himself in the T-20. I believe for India he's an excellent find and could go long in LOIs. It was his 1st ODI so he'll learn for sure.

Arshdeep: Good death bowler? I disagree. He's one of the worst death bowlers if you ask me. He takes wickets now and then, but his economy is way too high. On top of all this, he cannot bat well either. There are many better options in comparison.

Yeah agreed about this as he is young in this game and need some time as he is doing I have feeling he could be one of the best for the Indian team with his line and length you can't expect good results from very early games he was playing his first game of the career and guys need very quick results which is surely not good stuff.

There are many other young players like Umran who can bowl faster though their lengths need tweaking. India desperately needs someone who can bowl like Bumrah in their ranks.

I have seen Afghanistan play very well in many matches.  But in some matches due to mistakes of Afghanistan players they lost the match.  Due to which Afghanistan is not able to do anything good but hopefully Afghanistan will move to a good position very soon.  Afghanistan has good bowling as well as batting performance.

Unseasonal rains are becoming increasingly common, and the cricket calendar has also become crowded as a result of franchise T20 leagues. Now coming back to the match, even if rain stops and the play resumes within the next 10 minutes or so, the match will no longer be 50 overs. According to ESPN-Cricinfo, overs have been lost already.

BTW, we have another ODI match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan today at Pallekele. This match is a part of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League. Sri Lanka has already lost their first match and if they lose this one also, then they need to play in the qualifiers for the 2023 ODI World Cup.

First, it ruined the T-20 series but it was useless anyway. ODI does have some relevance because of the upcoming 50 overs WC. India would've liked some more game time as they are experimenting with the squad.
