India is failing to accelerate in the final overs. And as usual, Samson fails when it matters the most. He got a good start, but when he needs to hit the boundaries he got out. New Zealand captain took a big risk by including two of his most wayward bowlers in the playing XI - Matt Henry and Adam Milne. Sreyas Iyer is now starting to hit the 4s and 6s (after wasting a lot of balls earlier on). Washington Sundar is hitting the boundaries now. He deserves to bat higher up the order. Maybe at no.4 or no.5? Still not clear whether India would make 300 or not.

It was a pleasure to see Sundar's shots. As a result of his efforts, India crossed the 300 mark. As a result of Wasinton Sundar's finishing touch, India was able to post a good total of 306 on the board. The slow innings of Sanju Samson could have cost them the match, but Sundar's cameo saved the day. Team India has left the Kiwis with a huge total to chase since most of the players played well. India played well. The show was wonderful to watch. For India, I believe these runs are sufficient. I wish them the best of luck with their bowling now and keep up the good work.

Going to be an easy win for New Zealand in the end. The Indian bowlers just imploded towards the depth overs. The partnership between Tom Latham and Kane Williamson rescued New Zealand. They were in a weak position when Daryl Mitchell got out (88/3). But both Williamson and Latham patiently built the partnership and then launched their attack towards the final 10 overs. Looks to me that the Indian bowling lineup is badly missing experienced players such as Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhubaneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami.

Brilliant piece of batting by kane Willaimson 94 and Tim latham 145 , Indian ballers failed to perform infront of Newzealand batters. Full credits to Washington Sundar for taking the team total above 300 as the team was moving at a slow pace and were 254 in the 46th over but New Zealand played really well and chased the total with ease. Tom Latham should have allowed Kane Williamson to score his century as well  .

Rishabh Pant failed again and i would like to see him take a break and give opportunity to other players as he was really struggling during his stay at the crease.

One more thing, with so much T20 the ODI really look boring now.

I do agree, it looks like things are dragging a bit longer with ODI. I never thought i would say this when the format started, i thought it will be restricted to T20 leagues .
