Tomorrow we are going to have very busy day in cricketing grounds as first match which is going to start early New Zealand vs India after losing T20i series now New Zealand is going to fight hard for having better results few players are coming back for them in this format specially now they are looking for their preparations which are going to help them for coming world cup

New Zealand is favourite in the ODI series. India hasn't taken their key players in the ODI squad. Few key players are missing in New Zealand squad too, but they are looking better than India. Betting odds is 1.60× for New Zealand win. The cricket board should have given at least two week break after the T20 world cup. They are running these series in a hurry by giving rest to their key players. You can't consider these series as ODI world cup preparation.

Thailand is impressive in ODI and done good job as they completely thrashed Netherlands women's in this series by beating with big margins here we can expect good future of Thailand's women's because their performance is improving day by day and these women's already beats teams like Pakistan which is showing their patience for this game in this third and final ODI a good 227 runs target which was looking huge for the Netherlands women's and their performance prove this was surely big target because all team bowled out for just 128 in 39 overs and lost match by 99 runs with series whitewashed by 3 - 0 which is good for the Thailand.

Thailand is the equivalent of Afghanistan in the women's cricket. They are one of the fastest rising teams. On the other hand, Netherlands is a dying team. Despite having more than 200 years of cricket history, the cricket clubs there are closing down one after the other and increasingly they are relying on foreign players to stay competitive in the international matches.

Without any doubt this is surprising for all because we have not settled setup for cricket in this country and their men team is also no in any better position which can give good interest and now their women's team is having impressive result even they can do good results against big teams which are having better facilities and environment for this game hopefully this could be good for the ASEAN region which is also very good and can give better outlook in long run as right now this game is surely looking for more fan base in different regions specially Asian Cricket which is never been ideal just because of two big which are never been ideal for the game due to their personal conflicts.

Even we have huge gain in fan base for cricket in Asian countries, but sadly it's losing charm in many countries like the Netherlands and Ireland which are having better future for soccer and rugby with West Indies and New Zealand are also going on this way but in New Zealand and England we can say few subcontinent settlers are doing good job and trying to have their mark in this game which is giving them good result.

With this all Netherlands is never ideal for this game even they have nearly 200 years old love affair with this game and new franchise cricket is also having no positive outlook which is surely sad part for this game in region, and we can't expect any good thing from ICC about this because their aims are completely different, and they will never do any positive work for the popularity of this game which is surely the worst thing which is happening in this.

T20 is a completely different format than ODI. It is fast, agressive and full of ups & downs. Wherein ODI is a battle of nerves and skills.

Newzealand won the toss and decided to bowl first. Shikhar Dhawan would be opening the batting with Shubman Gill. Umran Malik has been included in the squad. It would great to see him bowl 10 overs today. The stadium is full of Indian supporters and looks far better than the empty stadium when Australia and England plays against each other.

In my opinion, the overall sports situation in the Netherlands is not very encouraging at all. They were better both in cricket as well as in football. Despite that, they are not doing very well in either cricket or football at the moment. It has been a long time since they improved. Despite this, they have actually degraded. I believe they should have been more close to the first-team teams by now, as they have been playing cricket for a very long time. They just don't seem to be as interested in cricket as they once were. Moreover, they had a few very skilled players on their team. There was just no way they could make those players look like idols to the younger kids, they were just not able to do that.

I don't want to repeat anything. What happened in countries such as Netherlands, Kenya, Nepal.etc is purely due to the incompetence of the ICC (reduced funds, change in eligibility criteria). It is sad to see cricket dying in countries like these. But then, the Thai women proved that they don't need any help from the ICC to grow. They reached where they are, as a result of their own effort. They got close to zero support from the ICC (although the ACC was far more supportive before Jay Shah took over the reins.)

The current RR is less than 4 and if this continues then India would not be able to set a target of 250+ runs. India has scored 59 runs after 14 overs. Excellent bowling by the Kiwis they have been able to restrict India on the power play and create pressure.

Afghanistan is developing far better compared to the Netherlands. Considering the fact that I'm standing, they have a lot of problems politically, so I think they're playing well. The improvement in Afghanistan is actually very encouraging.

The third T20 match between New Zealand and India was stopped due to rain and the match ended by tie as the scores were level on DLS method. Now New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl in the first match of the ODI series. India managed to score 156 runs in 32 overs losing 2 wickets. India is definitely ahead in terms of wickets so far. As there are 18 more overs to left, their run rate will be increased considerably. There can also be various changes during this period.

The problem is, they are not being able to bring in new players. New players who are actually interested in playing cricket as a professional and not as a hobby. Netherlands are a competent team and they could have done a lot better. I also do not think that Dutch people are actually interested in cricket. And if we talk about the government of Netherlands I don’t think the government is interested in any sports at all. Otherwise, Netherlands could have done better in both cricket and football.

Netherlands is a sports loving society. But in the recent times, most of the countries (including the Netherlands) have focused on Olympic sports. Cricket is not an Olympic sport and therefore it is not awarded any funds from the government. Also, cricket is increasingly being viewed as a sport exclusively played by South Asians and this further discourages other people from participating in it.

Afghanistan has made giant strides till now. But there is a catch. Cricket is being viewed as a sport played by the Pashtun ethnic group. Other ethnic groups who comprise more than 60% of the population doesn't have much representation in the national team.

India scored 176 runs in 36 overs and lost 4 wickets.  They have 14 overs left.  It seems that India will give New Zealand a target of 230 runs.  But New Zealand is a good cricket team and they have the ability to surpass this run target.  So maybe India won't be able to win this match for this amount of runs

India gave a good target to Newzealand in their first ODI  307 runs on 7 wickets required run rate is 6.12 so if Newzealand players stay on pitch this is a chaseable target for them .
Indian batting is really strong and they started really well on 124 runs they lost their first wickets . Good start by Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan 72 runs ,Shubman Gill  50 runs ,Shreyas Iyer  80 runs ao their 1st 3 batman played brilliantly .

Indian team batsman Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill, Shreyas lyer performed well. Team India finished the game in 50 overs and collected 306 runs for the loss of 7 wickets

The ground is pretty small and any score beyond 325 would have been competitive. I also agree with your point but the condition are good for swing bowling and fast bowlers which India has so I assume it wouldn't be that easy for Newzealand to chase 307 runs.

The top batters of Newzealand would like to form a partnership like India did and then they would like to accelerate the RR. If they are not able to form a partnership then it would get pretty difficult for them to chase those runs.
