Afghanistan had a good performance in this match even though they were not able to win. The problem was Afghanistan was not very good in the bowling lineup. Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi did well on the bowling side. But the others did not do very well. I think if Mujeeb did a little better they could have won the match. We all know that Mujeeb is a very important performer for Afghanistan. But in this match, he could not perform and that gave Sri Lanka a lot of breathing space. This was actually very unfortunate for Afghanistan. This was a really good chance for Afghanistan to win this series against Sri Lanka. They just failed to grab that opportunity.

I missed watching the match. Now going through the score it is really good performance from the Afghanistan batters to set such a target. Really unfortunate to loss the match. Sri Lanka that lost its 4th wicket at 164 further developed good partnership and that is were Afghanistan have missed the winning momentum. Anyhow this is really big for Afghanistan and the loss in my view is out of the lacking experience.

Scotland is like the top team in ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2, so no one really expected Namibia to win this match. Oman has 44 points now, and Scotland is right behind them with 42. And the catch here is that Oman has completed all their matches, while Scotland still has a total of 7 matches remaining. Namibia has a chance to overtake the United States. US has completed all their matches and they have 35 points, while Namibia is having 32 points with 9 matches to go. Should be easy for them to go to no.3.

Only seven teams are involved in this process and from these someone is going to be in League 1 not clear, but they need to be more attractive for things like these from here they need to do something like Tier system which helps these teams like first tier have 12 teams than second have 8 and then tier 3 also with 8 hopefully with this we will move in better position and teams will do better work as funds also needs to go with this system as well.

I am quite sure that the way Scotland is playing right now, they should easily be able to overtake Oman on the table. USA has finished all of their matches. So they are not overtaking anyone anymore. But I have to say I expected better from Nepal. Nepal does have a lot of matches left. But I really do not know if they will be able to improve their position on the table. And of course, there is no hope for Papua New Guinea. If UAE has a certain drop in their performance and Nepal can somehow improve, I think Nepal has a chance to at least get ahead of UAE on the table.

I completely agree with you. But the ICC can always give the excuse that their scheduling got messed up as a result of COVID. As we can see from the points table, two of the teams (Oman, United States) have already completed all the matches. On the other hand, Nepal has 16 matches remaining.

But then, the ICC also removed the promotion/relegation criteria several times. Originally, the top team was scheduled to be promoted to the World Cup Super League. But then the ICC scrapped the Super League. Now the only relevance of the World Cup League 2 is that the top 3 teams will get an opportunity to participate in the ODI World Cup qualifier. Other 4 teams need to first play the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off.

Well said , I think Bangladeshi Cricket Board is lagging behind in this  side, that's why they had a bad exit in the first stage of the T20 World Cup. And now talking about ODI, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim are considered to be the strength of Bangladesh but they are all in the very last stage of career. So I think after their retired, the condition of Bangladesh will gradually become like  the Zimbabwe Cricket Board.

We have seen in the World Cup how the Bangladesh team performs in the absence of senior cricketers. Basically, new good players have not come to the Bangladesh team yet. But sudden retirement of some senior players has brought the Bangladesh team to the bottom. If Bangladesh had not won some earlier matches then they might not have got a place in the T20 World Cup. The seniors will leave but in the meantime new players have to be produced.

I was wondering is it really test cricket... This type of performance is considered very well in the ODI matches I think England is still in the T20I cricket mood anyway in the coming matches of ODI I can see that England has no match in the batting lineup. I know that a match depends on many circumstances but still England is going to be OP in the ODI as always.

Moreover, Pakistan also did not make a bad start in their first innings, they took 181 runs for zero wickets and left the rest of the game for tomorrow.  If Pakistan performs like England then I think this match will have high probability of draw.

Pakistan is ready to respond strongly against England. Shafiq and Imam have taken the responsibility against England's 657 runs those who are trying to successfully lead the match. Pakistan has been able to score 181 runs in the inauguration without losing any wickets. England team also give the highest effort. They try to get the wicket but they were completely failed. The England team used six bowlers but has never been able to take Pakistan's wicket. Tomorrow it will be understood how far Pakistan or what they can do for the team.

Actually even I did not watch the whole match. At this point, nobody in the world has enough time to watch a cricket match from start to finish. Especially if it is a test match or one-day international match. But I saw some highlights and certain parts of the match. I can say that Afghanistan had the match under control till the giveaway in the bulk of runs towards the end. And the 49th over was the nail in the coffin for Afghanistan. It was a really good chance for Afghanistan. But through some undisciplined bowling, they let the chances go.

Here Nepal is surely having good future, and they can do improve their quality and performance in coming matches because they are doing good job with their native talent and having mostly youngsters those will be able to do good after having experience and skills with tournaments like these but here ICC also needs to give their best and increase their funds which help these players and Nepal management for the increase of their players pool and facilities which are very important.
 
Namibia have good chance with too many matches in hand for the overtop USA, but now their next match is against Scotland which is much better and superior in quality and performance with Nepal is going to play their next game against Scotland on 4th December which is also looking not good for them.
