USA was not very interested in cricket. Still they are playing pretty well. The USA players played very well against Namibia today. USA set a target of 245 in 50 overs. Every batsman in the team has shown good batting today. The Namibia team is not very strong. And so it was very difficult for them to win by batting at a target of 245 runs. And Namibia's innings ended on just 173 runs.
Smaller teams like Ireland, Netherlands, USA and UAE are playing quite well now. Cricket is gradually becoming popular worldwide. If these small teams get enough opportunities, they will challenge the big teams in the future.

I think that the USA did pretty well for a team that is not that interested in cricket. I did not think that Namibia was going to be an easy opponent for them. But they performed really well against Namibia. They should be proud of this type of performance. As a matter of fact, they do have a lot of foreign players on their team. So that is the reason why they probably are not proud of their performance in cricket. Suppose there are no foreign players on the USA team, and they are only playing with native players. This victory would have been greatly lauded by the USA.

England is having difficulty in playing and performing in ODI matches although they have won world cup recently.  These are entirely different formats of cricket one is elaborate and detailed and other one is short and unpredictable mostly weak teams perform well than strong teams because they perform at that moment and day so same is happening with England.
Australia on other hand didn't make it to semi-final previously now look at their performances.

This can happen to every team because recently they are not involved in ODI's as mostly playing T20i so now suddenly change of format with not top player involved is surely not suitable with right now England is ODI and T20i both World Cup's holder and can do better in coming days because now they have very strong domestic set up in both formats and their youths are doing good work for this all.
Their last ODI defeats are normal business as this can happen to any team while they won T20i World Cup just few days back and now having this useless series before going to Pakistan for playing their first test series in many years.

I wouldn’t say that this is useless.
This is obviously useful for England because now they know in which area they have some weaknesses.
And they will be able to use that in the next ODI series that they play.

But after this, obviously, they will have to concentrate on test cricket. Because you know, they are going to Pakistan and I don’t think it is going to be easy in Pakistan.

The third and final ODI match between Australia and England will take place shortly after. Australia won the first two matches quite easily. And in the first two matches we saw England batting badly. If England's batsmen can't bat well in today's match then I don't see any chance of them winning. Because the Australian players are very confident today after performing well in the first two matches. If England wants to win, they will have to perform well.

It would be a shame for England to lose all the matches in this series against Australia. So today the players of England will try their best to win. But the players are not in good form, it is very difficult for them to win.

Teams such as PNG, Namibia and Nepal who are playing with native players are on receiving end. And it does nothing to make cricket more popular in the United States. The natives doesn't even know that there is a "national" team for the US.

The CRR is more than 6 at the moment and if they are able to maintain it till the end of 50 overs then Australia will easily set a target of more than 300 runs which I presume would not be easy for the English batters to chase.

2nd ODI match, Thailand Women's Team vs Netherlands Women's Team. Thailand women's team won the toss and scored 176 runs for the loss of all wickets. In today's match, Thailand women's middle order and last order batsmen did not do well in batting. If the last order batsmen can perform well in batting. The Netherlands women's team could have been given bigger targets

The match is currently stopped due to rain, but there is no word on whether it will be abandoned due to rain, but if the match resumes, it will definitely be a very difficult affair for England.  I am forced to say that England will be whitewashed in today's match.  Australia managed to collect 292 runs for the loss of just two wickets in 42.2 overs.  If Australia can bat in the remaining 7.2 overs, it looks like they will set a target of over 360 runs.  And if the match comes down to short overs in the Drac-Lewis style, England will have a challenging score.

England have already played 22 overs and they have scored only 85 runs which is very poor and with this run rate they will never meet today's target which Australia has set.  They need 279 runs in just 26 overs which is a huge task and it is impossible for them to meet it.  So today it is easily seen that Australia is going to win this match.  After England won the t20 they were considered by everyone to be a good team.  But they were not able to play any match well after that.  So it can be said that they won the T20 because of their luck
