There's another one approval needed if the PBA would allow Calvin Abueva to play, but I think it's not that hard to get an approval since PBA is the one who really knows Calvin Abueva and has given him the sanction and discipline.  With this talks, it makes me believe that Calvin Abueva  will be come back soon, really soon.

Undoubtedly this is one of the progress that he will gonna play gain after a few talks. I hope to see him play again because unlike in NBA we only have few players who can play well who can entertain some fans with their playing skill and Abueve is one of them. since he didn't do some worst thing in the past, this should be enough for him and let him play again in the PBA.

No game yet for a restart because organizers having a problem with the venue that could compromise the safety of the basketball players of the PBA. However, the organizers are positive that this event will going to continue making NBA as an example of which the the play off series now had already been played.

In some point of view because of this pandemic the PBA has been struggling to make a way to restart to continue the event thus it could be a reason for the PBA event to cancel this season.

I think you have a valid point here, since the season is delayed, JMF can now have time to recover from an injury. Also, if he can't play once the season open, I'm sure the SMB has the tools to at least reach in the elimination game, we might see an old scenario during the SMB vs Alaska game that JMF return in the finals or game 4 I guess and SMB rally to win the series.

I will never forget the championship series because I bet for Alaska. No team on that day was able to win the series coming from a 0-3 deficit.

JMF's return on that game creates a big impact on SMB. They were able to give Alaska a straight 4 loss to claim the championship.

That was already in the history of the PBA, that's why no doubt, Fajardo is declared as the best player in the PBA now.

Yes it's all Filipino and SMB impressed us in the opening of the season before it was halted.
Without Fajardo in the team, maybe Romeo and Mo Tautuaa would shine because they were very impressive with their game against the Hotshots.

  “He’s recovering ahead of schedule,” San Miguel Beer team manager Gee Abanilla told PBA Rush in a telephone interview as the 6-foot-10 slotman was the only player who skipped the Beermen’s resumption of practice that was divided into four sessions in compliance with the small group workouts for the time being.

Head coach Leo Austria is also happy with the progress of Fajardo’s health condition.

“He’s in high spirits and doing well with his rehab,” added Austria.

But Fajardo will still be out of the season, according to Abanilla and Austria and they have no plans of risking him in this shortened season even if he gets better in the days to come.

Yes that would be the best option that needed to do for better healing and to get a good comeback next year, there's no used to rush him to play even if we know that he is not in his best shape. They have enough fire power to win on every games so they shouldn't be worried for that and also we can see by this time on how the ball rotate on SMB on Fajardo's absence if they will select to sit him on the whole season.

Metro Manila most ideal venue for PBA bubble. He explains

NLEX coach Yeng Guiao still considers Metro Manila as the ideal place to hold a PBA bubble once the pro league finally resumes its season.

Not only is a Metro Manila bubble going to be logistically viable and less costly, it will also allow teams to practice in their own training facilities, which Guiao thought would be one of the major issues should the league holds its games outside the Big City.

The champion coach sees good, old Smart Araneta Colisuem as the most suitable venue to hold the bubble.

“To me, that’s the most practical and most cost efficient,” Guiao shared to SPIN.ph . “It will be cheaper than going out of town.”

NCR, however, still has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the country.

Maybe the PBA or NLEX team are trying to send some inspiration to players to take care of their body and their career if they still want to be given a chance to play even at retirement age for most players. Again, let us not expect that since he will still play he will be fully utilized int he court, still his minutes will be carefully manage. And by with this news, I think he can he still represent our country in international competition.

This only shows that there is no available big man in the free agency better than Asi. Asi could have retired already and join the coaching staff have they not traded Poy Erram to TnT. On the other hand, kudos to him for maintaining that body to be physically fit even with his age and it's not easy to that also.

Guiao has a point but if Manila will stay on GCQ, there's no point in discussing this as PBA is targeting the resume of the league next month. GCQ will last until the end of the month and no assurance if restrictions will be lifted.

That's why PBA is thinking of several options outside Manila so that preparations can now start and will not just take action once Manila shifted into MGCQ.

In the bubble, players can practice too. Not as special as the one did in NBA where teams have separate practice court but at least, they are just in the bubble. Changes should be adopted by all and they must understand that this will be a part of the new normal. About the cost, they have no choice. I do not really think that the PBA will going to open their games with the crowd. Social distancing is still a mandate and no social gathering should be allowed. If they follow the NBA then crowd are only using digital to which in the venue has no actual fans but only the digital image of them watching the NBA game. I hope so that thes organizers will not allow crowd in the arena to avoid the fast transmission of COVID 19. Let us wait first the cure to this virus before opening any social gathering events.
