Joe Devance shares battle with COVID-19: 'Thought I was gonna die'

JOE Devance is the latest PBA player to share that he has tested positive for COVID-19, thankful that he has since made a full recovery.

The veteran Ginebra forward gave a very personal account of his tough ordeal in his popular YwouTube account, admitting there was a point where he felt 'I was gonna die.'

"Last night was rough. I didn't think I was going to make it out alive. I even sent a message to my wife cause I thought I was gonna die," Devance shared in the video.

Let us take this problem seriously, avoid going out if possible as even the healthy man who keeps his body fit has felt how strong this virus is. I'm happy that he has survived from covid-19, and happier that he shares his experience.

Well, if Wright demanded for it because he really wants too then it would be better if they will just give it to him (trade) instead of just playing in the same team that he doesn't want to play with anymore.
If this is the case then it would be better for Wright to just leave the league and go to another one. If he will be happy on that one then better. If Phoenix doesn't want to trade with Magnolia then better if they will find another team that would want to trade with them. Many teams will have an interest on him for sure.

Banchero has been in a team which is fully loaded of guards so what do we expect from him. Unlike in Alaska where there aren't that much guards, Magnolia has many guards that is why his playing time is reduced therefore his performance is also affected. Personally, I don't like Wright being traded to other teams since Phoenix is already a strong team but if he doesn't happy anymore with the team then better to just find another team or find another league.

I think it was already planned, CJ was signed by Terrafirma and use this team as a training ground, he did well, he pass the final stage and that is the acquisition of him by the SMB. There's a rumor that weak teams are use as a farm team, it looks real to me.

The case of Joe Devance having been hit by COVID-19 is intriguing as i thought all this time that if you are healthy, you are safe from this virus. I mean if you can have it but your body can handle it and you will only feel the mild symptoms of this virus and not be critical.

Have read about NBA players having covid but all of them have only mild or no symptoms at all.

With these numbers, many are still don't believing that this virus is still spreading worldwide. I don't know why they aren't believing on it. Its good that a person like him is sharing his experience and he might attract some people and will believe on it. Some people really believe in some conspira-shits right .

Actually, people believe in the virus, however, they just treat it like a serious one as they have no choice, the poverty rate in the Philippines is high, people need to go out and work, the advice of the DOH is to stay at home, avoid social distancing, I think we can't strictly follow that as the most important for us is to work in order to make money to feed our family. Even the government has once lifted the lockdown because the economy will not survive if they will continue with the measure.
