The game between Blackwater Bossing and Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters, scheduled July 31, 2021, Saturday at 2 p.m. will be rescheduled to a later date in accordance with the league's health and safety protocols. The game between the Meralco and the Alaska Aces will push through at 4:30 p.m.

If you bet on Ginebra, you will be celebrating by now, C. Stand hit the game-winner, which was huge as Ginebra was struggling a bit. I thought it will go to OT, but C. Stand's offensive rebound really was at the right time and at the right place.  Congratulations to the Ginebra, they are back! That never say die attitude though.

On the other hand, Greg Slaughter is pumped. He is having quality minutes in Northport. He almost played the entire game with 41 minutes. He's clearly motivated to show Ginebra that he can still get good numbers. For his 2 games this conference, against SMB and Ginebra, his stats were double-double.

I just notice I've seen almost all the rookies this season and they seem to have not impressed me yet.

The last time I was impress was a Rookie playing with Terrafirma DYIP which is CJ Perez, when he started his PBA career, he doesn't look like a Rookie as he was already making double-digit points consistently in a game. What are your thoughts on the current Rookies, who is the biggest one you think has a good potential to end with great numbers in the conference?

With Bossing vs Phoenix game canceled today, we only have Alaska vs Bolts game to bet on.

I'm backing Bolts -2.5 @1.84, they are on the roll so betting against them is not advisable hehe.

I'm 2 out of 2 yesterday and seems like this season is pretty easy to pick on who will win the matches for me  . hope this will continue.

IMO, Ray Parks is better than this rookie and sadly he is not with the TNT anymore. I just comment based on my observation as I don't really follow Mikey Williams's career before the PBA.

yup! he's still on the process lets accept things that this new guy are adjusting with his new role,
we can't easily judge him from his début as most of the time rookie struggles,

plus the fact that he's playing with TNT where basketball IQ had been establish between players, he needs to work more from each players just like you said, each teams are lack of practice since pandemic hits us.

If this young star really have something to show for sure we will see that within this first season of his career.

Got the W for today's lone ballgame. Alaska is in complete disarray, even Jeron Teng struggles this late on his game. Looking at their current roster seems that they will go home early.

If this young star really have something to show for sure we will see that within this first season of his career.

Yeah, one season is enough to showcase your true potential, some teams can even determine if a player has potential through their scouting report which i think TNT has. Have read an article, coach Chot was not impressed of Mikey William's debut but he understands that chemistry might be a factor so he gives his guy some time to show his potential.

Two games for tomorrow guys hope none will be canceled and also hope that the PBA would continue in a bubble setup.

Big win by the Meralco, Alaska tries to come back but Meralco always has the answer to keep the team in a comfortable lead.

Great ball movement by the Meralco Bolts, even the Rookie Pasaol contribute with his high this season so far.
This young guy is a great shooter, he would really help the Meralco to be a good threat outside as well.

Mikey Williams has to improve, there's no excuse even if he is still a rookie, Pogoy's minutes have dropped I believe because TNT had invested in Willams who are still struggling in his 2nd game, and they had a high expectation on this player so they'll keep pushing him. On the other hand, I think TNT is not wrong about getting Khobuntin as he really is big on the floor, the hassle is there and he really works hard, we can tell that.

The difference between the TNT and Phoenix in this game is on the point guard position.

Phoenix is a good starter as they have the aggressiveness but they lack the ability on closing games.
I didn't see them a lot making a lot of attempts inside, it seems like they are not using Perkins and Manuel's talents properly.
IMO, they have advantage inside as these two guys are stronger than the big guys of TNT.

2 consecutive games and here's my take on TNT's rookie Mikey Williams.

I know he's somehow arrogant when he requested a max deal available for the rookie where in the first place, he doesn't prove anything yet (obviously, because he was a rookie). A player who behaves like that is confident in their own skills so Coach Chot likely wants to test him and even provides quality minutes for him resulting in minimizing the usual playing time of the other starters.

Looking at the FG%, it's worst yes, but the attempt made is not usual for the rookie. Meaning he has the confidence to take shots even he's struggling and because of more minutes provided to him, soon he will be used to playing his best. He just needs to live with the hype he started. Coach Chot is strict. If he sees a player that isn't competitive enough, he will turn that player into a bench warmer without a doubt.

It should be a big bounce back, they cannot be complacent here, if they have a big lead, they should still work hard to keep that lead and had a very dominant win.
