Both players still feature as a false 9, Jackson isn’t playing in his natural position and that still makes the need for a number 9 in Chelsea a necessity which Victor Osimhen can still feature as and like we all know, his very capable of playing the role. It seems a little different when his playing for his national team though.
Him not having the chance, well I can agree that it isn’t much of a big deal now as, Nkunku, Jackson and Cole Palmer are all filling in the gaps, not letting the team miss any position to much of a significant effect on the pitch but, I’ll still like to see Chelsea try to sign him when the transfer window opens.

His transfer market value just increased after scoring that world class goal. Osimhen could have been playing for Chelsea if they had made a reasonable offer. Osimhen will bench Jackson, Chelsea needs a striker that will not hesitate to score goals. Jackson is not a reliable striker, one day he is good, the next he is a mess. Maresca needs a natural number 9 he can rely on.

The fact you have stated is just clear, their isn't something to misconcept or even argue, it's so obvious and clear that I have not seen a comment within and outside this forum that is in support of Diaz either winning or been on this list rather it's always been within Boniface and Lookman. The British man is not that sentimental to the extent that he will not recognise excellence when he sees it, we have seen a handful of African players play in the premier League over the years doing marvellously well, putting up exceptional performances back to back, I watch Austin Jay Jay Okocha at Bolton Wanderers, kanu nwankwo, Didier Drogba, Mikel Obi, El Hadji Diouf and so many of them including Mohamed Salah and non of these men are British yet the media always emphasize how they have contributed to the growth of the league as matter of fact you can't talk about the EPL without African players so for guys like victor Osimhen I know the media don't really have much to do with him because he has already established himself as one the greats from the African extraction and i think they would work with that because he doesn't need much help with his personality because he is not an upcoming talent.

I also buy the idea that playing for lower clubs and in a lower league like the Turkish Super Lig which is not among the top five leagues in Europe will limit Victor Osimhen's chances of winning a major individual awards no matter how good he plays because players that plays in big European clubs are mostly preferred when nominating for big awards. Victor Osimhen's decision to move to Galatasaray was to help himself get playing minutes this season instead of remaining at Napoli where he's unlikely to feature for the club after the fall out with the club management in the summer. He'll surely return to any of the big clubs in the top five leagues in Europe at the expiration of his loan contract with Galatasaray.

That's serious thank God he did not sustain a serious injury, I couldn't believe when I heard it yet because fake news are too much nowadays but the Nigerians happiness is that even if the story was true but he is healthy and in no time the hand injuries he has will be healed because he is getting a good treatment, so he may not be able to play their next match against Brest because it just two days from now so perhaps before their two or three matches from now and he will not be well enough to play, so for now his health is the most important thing because we can imagine the trauma he must have been during the crash because we can see from his face. Well thought of. What you stated is what CAF will be looking at: "whose player is the engine room of their club and country squad''.

For a demonstrative fact, take away each of the stated players "Lookman, Boniface, and Diaz, from the match their club or country has, What is their club or country performance like? Will they be able to perform better without them? And what impact do they make when they play for their club and country?

The questions above are what CAF has to look out for whom becomes the Men's Player of the Year. Yes it is true that the both football federations have submitted their reports as demanded by CAF and we would be hearing the final verdict tomorrow as stipulated by CAF. However, there is a rumor already circulating that  the Nigeria senate has called on the Libyan Football Federation and The Libyan government to publicly apologies to Nigeria for the treatment they received from them when the Super Eagles flew to Libya for their friendly qualifiers but however, the event turned out to be a very terrible one for the Super Eagles as they were welcomed with ill treatment by the Libyan football federation. It is unfortunate that the two African teams are at logger heads with each other.

From all indications, the libyan government have a hand in this and if I may ask, who ordered the diversion of the flight? and as stated by the pilot in one of the videos circulating on X that he said  that "the order is from the higher authority" Now the question is Who are the higher authorities in question?

You’ve analysed them well, they’re all good players and have done well for their respective clubs but Ademola Lookman stands out as he’s been impressive for both Club and Country. He showed his prowess in the last AFCON whereas the other two are yet to prove themselves in the Continent.

Let's wait and see what they will resolve at the end of the day, but I'm sure both sides will certainly share in the blame even though the Libyan side will take a large part of it. Firstly the Libyan side complaints of having the same treatment when they arrived the Nigerian airport, sighting delay in respond time about the Nigerian authorities not providing logistics for them. So I believe the judgement will not absorb Nigeria of any wrong doing, but they will be equally be shared in the blame. I also buy the idea that playing for lower clubs and in a lower league like the Turkish Super Lig which is not among the top five leagues in Europe will limit Victor Osimhen's chances of winning a major individual awards no matter how good he plays because players that plays in big European clubs are mostly preferred when nominating for big awards. Victor Osimhen's decision to move to Galatasaray was to help himself get playing minutes this season instead of remaining at Napoli where he's unlikely to feature for the club after the fall out with the club management in the summer. What that means is that if a striker in the five major leagues scores one goal, a player in Turkey needs to score four and above to get the right attention.
