Does anyone know when Claymore plans on releasing a UNIX AMD GPU miner?  Anyone else planning on releasing one?  I don't understand why the windows one has been out so long but nothing for unix.  Ive got 3 cards sitting around doing nothing Sad

Well this got me up to 1450 with 2x280x and a 7970. Was hoping for the full 1650 but hard to complain when there is a gain from 1280 k/s...

Is it possible to mine with less then 16GB of vram?

I'm only getting ~400h/s per 280x with 1030/1500 on 14.7. Is this right? A lot of other people are showing quite a bit more (although some on much higher OCs).

400 h/s is ok with your clocks. it is a bit slow but still in the "ok - range". maybe your cards have the slower elpidia ram.

If there is THAT big of a difference between types of memory are optimizations/fixes being worked on for elpedia memory? Looking at a couple of my cards, they're producing 470h/s at the same speeds as the elpedia cards, which is pretty ridiculous.

Yes, there are a couple of mining bios for the cards with elpidia ram that improve the timings. I forgot the correct name, but you can find them in the mining section in the litecointalk.org forum.

Yeah, I've heard about those. I was asking specifically about the miner though.
