Anyone know what might cause " balance " and " unlocked balance " to be different for a long period of time now, i.e. 10-12 days??? They differ by less than 6 coins, any ideas would help. P.S. I run one of the pools and unlocker and payouts look ok in the modules. I remember seeing transaction errors in the daemon scroll one day but that usually straightens itself out. Also noted extremely high bad luck for 2 days (-750%)
Thoughts, ideas, ....and .....GO AEON!
pps... and I am referring to the pool wallet if that makes a difference.

There are no new GitHub commits for 8 months. Are you going to retire this repo totally and replace it with a Monero rebase?

The age of the github commits isn't really relevant. I've continued to use that repo whenever updates needed to be made for security issues for example. I have been thinking that a new repo would be cleaner, since it would better preserve the commit chain.

When will AEON be added to polo?
That's down to Polo I suppose. If enough people ask them directly, they are more likely to consider it.

I doubt you'll see that soon. I'd imagine they won't want the extra work maintaining too many wallets. Since AEON's goal is to be mobile friendly and is "partnered" with Monero, a nice feature of any future AEON mobile (or desktop) wallet might be to pay recipients in Monero. i.e. Implementing something like xmr.to or shapeshift.io from within the wallet. AEON -> XMR. That would probably help adoption.

The extra effort adding another cryptonote coin surely wouldn't be too much hard work, AEON community could at least suggest it now that they've seen the light with XMR

Hey guys,
i am using the GUI wallet from the OP. Is it enough to just copy all the files that are being created when starting up in order to backup my wallet?
EDIT: I tried to send a couple of AEON Coins to my wallet, but unfortunately they still haven't shown up. Any ideas what the problem might be?

All this new activity is great, but like Ricardo implied -- don't invest more than you can afford to lose.
On another note, as I awoke this morning I had a thought. I've always liked the fact that the DEV's of AEON are private. In this case, I think it makes AEON more resistant to outside influence and external attacks.
However, what about the GitHub side of the house? Could GitHub be shutdown? How will we update our software in that case? Wouldn't it be better to run updates through the software itself? Or had some other highly secure and decentralized way of doing it?
Just a thought. Has this already been proposed?

the archive aeongui-0.2.3.zip contains 0.9.1.0 version of aeond.exe and simplewallet.exe overwrite them with latest release (0.9.6.0) https://github.com/aeonix/aeon/releasesat first, the daemon must be synchronized : look at "about" tab the current block (~731900 today). it can be long (several hours if from scratch) then your wallet must refresh (several minutes) look at the log in "logs" tab then "show wallet logs" and uncheck "hide handled lines" box. you will see how refresh is processing ("Height") to backup your wallet, copy the file with extension .bin.keys (it's the most important file) and the .bin file (optionnally, it's a cache with your transactions history but it can be recreated with the .bin.keys) i was able to receive and send aeon through the gui the unconfirmed balance seems not updated correctly after a reception else all was ok (edit: transaction history tab doesn't show outgoing transactions)
