Just cause you were in the settings of the pool. Thank you for answering Here are my settings bat file for R9 270X: gapminer-gpu.exe -d 0 -o http://mine3.gap.nonce-pool.com -p 4200 -u user.1 -x password -t 20 --stratum --use-gpu Working? Remove the --stratum in your connection string. how to set 4VGAs run together? only VGA #0 run (with or without "-d 0") gapminer-gpu.exe -d 0 -o http://mine3.gap.nonce-pool.com -p 4200 -u user.1 -x password -t 20 --stratum --use-gpu [/quote]

Does the difficulty differ on each ports? Why some of you are setting higher threads number? I was setting 1 or no thread number at all... but still havn't solved my problem with 0 pps on GPU.

As for 0 PPS - it sounds like your GPU(s) are not doing any actual work. Are you seeing any errors when you start up the miner? Maybe post a screenshot of the start-up output. Your thread settings will depend on the core/thread count that your CPU can handle. If you have a 4 core CPU and 4 GPUs then you want 1 core for each. If you have an 8 core CPU, then you can increase this to 2 threads per GPU. The GPU miner is still very CPU intensive, so you don't want to overload it. I find that I can only support 2 GPUs on my linux miner - even though I have 4 cards

i think need a good miner for GPU , this miner is working on 1 VGA card for one time open . When i open more bat file to run multi cards , speed of each card decrease and cards only use about 50-60% . Need a new miner update or another gpu miner

I noticed that with solo mining hash rate is 30% higher than to mine trough the pool.

GAP is dead, supercomputing abusing it with a private cpu/gpu miner, no volume on poloniex, several large botnets active... I'll focus my CPU power on Riecoin, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=446703 , we are about to break world record in 5 days. No, the most logical explanation for the increased difficulty is that an individual in control of massive CPU power has decided to use it for Gapcoin mining. I am only interested in algorithmic breakthroughs and not financial profit. But I strongly believe that such a breakthrough may come from the mining community in general because of the financial incentives. Primecoin, Riecoin, and Gapcoin all have the potential to provide the scientific community with a deeper understanding of prime numbers. And I hope that all these coins live long and prosperous lifes.

Notice I removed the --stratum and changed your thread count to 1 - this is the CPU threads for the overhead calculations. I also changed the port # to the higher difficulty port to reduce stress on the pool.
Does the difficulty differ on each ports? Why some of you are setting higher threads number? I was setting 1 or no thread number at all... but still havn't solved my problem with 0 pps on GPU. yes, port 4200 is the standard (low) difficulty for CPU. 4205 is slightly higher difficulty for windows GPU and 3385 is the stratum port. I find that I can only support 2 GPUs on my linux miner - even though I have 4 cards hello, thank you, so it works similarly to folding when each gpu needs some cpu this is the output, no errors at all, I'm running with extra-verbose option: alicja@alicja-trzeci ~/GapMiner/gpu/rev2/64/gpu $ ./gapminer-gpu -o mine3.gap.nonce-pool.com -p 4200 -u alicea.trzeci -x kot --use-gpu -t 20 -w 64 GAP is dead, supercomputing abusing it with a private cpu/gpu miner, no volume on poloniex, several large botnets active... I'll focus my CPU power on Riecoin, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=446703 , we are about to break world record in 5 days. Supercomputing's posts have already been identified as FUD, I highly doubt such a miner exists. Even the logs he posted aren't real. As you offer no proof for your claims "large botnet", "no volume", and you also have a negative Trust here, you wont be taken seriously. If you can show evidence that the logs are false using the block explorer, then I will contribute 10,000 GAPs to be awarded to the miner who breaks the world record. But if you are unable to do so, then you have to contribute 10,000 GAPs to the fund. Fair enough, or are you going to now come up with some excuse like the rest?

Have you tried changing your threads to 1 instead of 20? I'm not sure how the miner would react to this. I don't think your system really has 20 CPU cores...
Sure I have tried! This was one of my first ideas. There was no reaction, it looked like exactly the same way as giving any other thread number: working fine, zero pps. The only change was switching to solo mining - the GPU started working then... but at so low pps that I've decided to switch off and stay pool mining with CPUs. Anyway - I don't understand it. CPU has a bit better pps when solo mining, but I'm taking the risk of not-finding a block at all, okay it's clear. But the GPU works while solomining, and doesn't work at all when pool mining?

Thats easy. You want to proof your miner exists - and is considerably faster. But all I see in your logs is public information anyone could extract from the blockchain. Not even if these blocks are yours. And still you have to explain why your miner is "deadly" as you call it, and its speed wont be compensated by an increased difficulty. You are unable to provide any evidence that the logs are false - take your choice from a list of donation addresses below:The options are: halving the block reward - every 2 years (no changes, no hard fork) GSJw8qfMBTrX1p9rRexuek4zXjb8ay3Nev
- every year GZHgCFHCwQYZhSqmGAJ7rKLYyo8fBEkgdj
- every half year GRNwEjBXhr3ccYV78LKRuzjt9howGVwx9c
- every three months GLjNmmTZiSxTyFHXAFBjXefmFNWUhTfXjk
Or reducing the block reward every block to effectively halve: - every 2 years GU4oUgmeAC7T9DkgmrD1TjqcgHsdgXAhVU
- every year GHxr8JUNtaenHvrgqmt9oXTtZA8dA8DnBH
- every half year GRPwr2TiDNNBBUWa36os4Srppy4QdXxa9i
- every three months GKKcAv7UyJNLWsSPEwLRuYLBJjkRKvdp5k
The voting will end in one week (18.11.2014 10:00 PM UTC) After the end of the voting, the funds of these addresses will be added to the bounty for the first merit which breaks the world record.
