If you guys didn't notice, HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu went super nova and left the building.  Lol.  It's on a good run and could somewhat do a PEPE or at least make a decent run.  Not good to ape anymore.

Anyway, here's another one that looks like it bottomed out and is up for another run...  Ready?  This one's called PEPE2.  Lolol.  Looks like frog logos is still the current meta.  If it does start trending up, don't expect it to have the same run as HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu tho.

^  Did you watch it?  I missed it...  :/  And just by looking at the result and the comments, there was rain and a red flag due to Perez and Sainz crashing.  The drivers prolly didn't get as much lap time on the track that's why the results were skewed towards whoever's at the top spots.  Verstappen, Hamilton and 5 other driver weren't even able to set at time.

Looks like it's gonna be an interesting quali if the drivers don't get as much needed time on the track.  We could be in for some surprises.  Wink

Here's what I want to know for the race this weekend...  Ricciardo is confirmed to drive at Alpha Tauri right?  And if so what do you guys think of Ricciardo to get a points finish at 3.40?  Wink

Yeah he is confirmed to drive for them from now on. I expect him to be faster than Tsunoda after a short time period. But in his first race I really don't know. He has been far away from F1 for a long time despite still being one of the most earners in the sport. But his results in tyre testing session wasn't bad that much.

For his first race I won't be betting on points finish for Ricciardo. But after this race I think why not give it a try?  Grin

I think Ricciardo can collect more points than Tsunoda despite coming here in the middle of the season. Tsunoda still has only 2 points.

I might put a little something for Ricciardo points finish if the price doesn't change after FP3 and before qualifying.  Some head to head bets could also be good as he'll prolly mostly be an underdog vs most of the other drivers.

And I didn't watch FP1 but judging from the results, I'm guessing it rained?  7 drivers didn't set a time, including Ricciardo.  :/

Weigh ins started earlier than usual guys.  The vid below was streamed an hour or so ago and it started a couple of hours before that.

Anyway, Aspinall weigh in at his heaviest to date at 258 lbs.  I took a peek at his past weigh ins for his last few matches and he usually weighed in between 245 - 252 lbs.  If the few lbs were due to the inactivity, it could be somewhat of concern.  Dunno...

Another surprise is Stoliarenko.  She made 125 lbs after struggling to make weight at 135.  She is bigger than McCann in the current weight division.  Would be hilarious if McCann got caught in an arm bar or something.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Everybody made weight!

Tom Aspinall (258) vs Marcin Tybura (246)
Molly McCann (125) vs Julija Stoliarenko (125)
Andre Fili (145) vs Nathaniel Wood (146)
Paul Craig (186) vs Andre Muniz (185)
Jai Herbert (155) vs Fares Ziam (155)
Josh Culibao (146) vs Lerone Murphy (146)
Davey Grant (136) vs Daniel Marcos (136)
Jonny Parsons (171) vs Danny Roberts (171)
Joel Alvarez (156) vs Marc Diakiese (156)
Mick Parkin (264) vs Jamal Pogues (266)
Bryan Barberena (185) vs Makhmud Muradov (186)
Pannie Kianzad (136) vs Ketlen Vieira (135)
Yanal Ashmouz (155) vs Chris Duncan (156)
Shauna Bannon (115) vs Bruna Brasil (115)
Daniel Barez (125) vs Jafel Filho (126)

^  I think fight of the night will be Lerone Murphy vs Josh Culibao...
1005  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 20, 2023, 01:00:26 PM
^  Sentiment will change for the obvious of course.  That's why I lock the poll before the month ends because it would be missing the point if it stays open til the last day.  Results would be skewed towards what the price is at the end of the month.

What these polls are supposed to do is find out what their sentiment is near the start of the month based on what happend to the months prior.  And looking at the price now, it seems like the voters' sentiments are on track with the market.  That's good!  Smiley

Edit:  Some guy sold down.  Not good.  =/
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2023 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: July 20, 2023, 12:52:06 PM
^  Yup.  Lol.  They're just starting to realize it now.  And if Ricciardo does get the second seat at Red Bull, it'll be seen as 'obvious' in hindsight.

Fun bet for the weekend:  Ricciardo points finish at 3.40.

Rain is expected for the qualify.

Crazy bet on Norris? Anyone?  Cheesy

Is he fast in the rain?  What I remember from him is that season when he was assured a podium and it started to rain and how he stayed out, didn't box and drove on with slick tires on.  He was sliding around the track, it was so hilarious.  Cheesy

I could be wrong but I think the fastest guys on the wet track are Alonso, Hamilton and Verstappen.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 20, 2023, 12:28:43 PM
^  Perez's contract will end at the end of 2024 season.  So he has one more year to go after this one.

Leclerc Contract will expire at the end of 2024, so Ferrari can do a double change for 2025 with 2 new drives if Sainz is confirmed to going out to Audi.

Both drivers are far behind the expectations at Ferrari (also Ferrari itself), it would not surprise me if both drivers have to go? Sainz will definitely have to go, but why should Audi take him?

Sainz is a decent enough driver who has the experience to help a smaller team like Sauber.  Not sure why they're carrying the name Audi cos as far as I know, Audi just bought a minority in Sauber?  It's a welcome change tho.  Nice to see something new on the grid.

Here's what I want to know for the race this weekend...  Ricciardo is confirmed to drive at Alpha Tauri right?  And if so what do you guys think of Ricciardo to get a points finish at 3.40?  Wink
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 20, 2023, 12:20:07 PM
^  And it's also weird that after a loss the card has Holly McCann in the co main event.  Matched her up with Stoliarenko too.  I feel like the UFC wants to set McCann up for an exciting finish.  Cheesy  Stoliarenko does have a nasty arm bar tho if she finds the opportunity.  But yeah...  Better to bet for fight doesn't go to decision or under 2.5 rounds than straight up McCann at 1.45.

Anyway, kinda back and forth with Aspinall.  I have him to win but after blowing up his knee, what do you guys think?  And over 1.5 rounds is 2.37.  I think it goes over...  Tybura hasn't been finished in a long while.

1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AI Coins Speculation on: July 19, 2023, 12:52:27 PM

AGIX - The founder, Ben Goertzel is considered the godfather of modern AI. His project, SingularityNet, has many in demand projects being developed under it's umbrella. #1 AI coin is right here.

RNDR - Render uses it's network and tokens to decentralize GPU processing. As modern films get more advanced, they will need more and more computing power. Especially as developing the modern AI will take massive amounts of graphics cards (HELLO NVIDIA DEAL) Render was also founded in part by JJ Abrams team.

GRT - The Graph is the Google for blockchain specific data

FET - Fetch.AI is technically the chosen AI project by the QFS. It's on the Hyperledger. Consider it.......the internet of data for AI/digital users to traverse. Fetch.AI is not open source and is fully licensed. So it's use case has already been decided and necessary. Extremely bullish long term.

So, not financial advice....

AGIX and FET for safest bets

RNDR and GRT for safe but unique bets.

^  Judging from optics alone, the charts of AGIX, GRT and FET look to have touched local bottom and are trying to claw their way up over resistance and break out.  RNDR on the other hand looks like it's in distribution mode with the guys who have bought the bottom already took profit and the guys left are prolly shorting it rn.

Be careful in buying into any alt tho.  Where the whole alt market goes depends on what BTC does.  And it's looking like BTC is getting ready to puke at any moment.  But we'll see.  :/
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 19, 2023, 12:38:51 PM
Apparently Ferrari rejected the rumor that Lando will be getting into Ferrari, which I assumed as much because that didn't made any sense anyway. Lando is a first driver, Charles too, never made sense to put them together in the same car, wouldn't really work that well.

-snip-

Because Norris is not a suitable candidate at this time for Ferrari, even if the performance is quite good, but that is not what Ferrari is looking for, they are looking for drivers who can work with the team and other drivers and Norris is not suitable for these criteria.
We don't know what Vasseur is thinking at the moment, but it seems that Vasseur is still confident about Sainz for now, because even though Sainz had several problems with Ferrari, until now he is still trusted to be the second driver.

And didn't Norris sign a somewhat long term contract with McLaren that would last until 2028 or something?  I think that should be put into consideration.  Lol.  F1 isn't really like football in that a team buys and sells players everytime they feel like it...   I could be wrong and there could be some seasons that it happened but it doesn't happen all the time.  Teams and drivers usually wait for their contracts to run out.

Here's the time table for the race this weekend!  I'm thinking it's not gonna be boring as the other teams are picking on car development.

2023 F1 Hungarian GP Schedule

Friday 21 July:  Practice 1  13:30 - 14:30
Friday 21 July:  Practice 2  17:00 - 18:00
Saturday 22 July:  Practice 3  12:30 - 13:30
Saturday 22 July:  Qualifying  16:00 - 17:00
Sunday 23 July:  Race  15:00
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 19, 2023, 12:19:43 PM
Yup! That might be it, for sure Jack Della Maddalena isn't what we think he could be with Wrestler for sure, or maybe because of his weight cuts for 2 weeks that might affect his cardio, maybe he had a hard time with Bassil Hafez, but for sure a lot is thinking Jack Della Maddalena will surely struggle against Khamzat Chimaev for sure,
Jack Della Maddalena is actually a pretty good UFC fighter even in 17 fights he managed to have 15 wins with 11 TKOs.
This fighter based on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has succeeded in becoming a fighter who can give fans satisfaction when watching him fight and now he has managed to occupy 13th place in the Welterweight class.
But when it comes to fighting Khamzat Chimaev I still doubt that Jack Della Maddalena can win even though he has tried his best, because Khamzat Chimaev is quite a dangerous fighter and often creates wins with his fighting intelligence.

He has powerrr in those hands but not sure if he's really as 'good' as where the books want to line him at.  What was the price for him last weekend?  Around 1.30?  That's too much imho.  If JDM and his opponent fought under the same conditions three times I think his opponent could win once.  And as the match ended in a split decision, JDM should've been lined close to a coin flip.

UFC Free Fight:  Tybura vs Hardy

The UFC must be giving Aspinall a favor by matching him up with an easy opponent after what happened during his last match.  Let's hope the knee is all healed up!  I think Aspinall via sub at anything around 2.50 - 3.00 will be value here.

1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: July 18, 2023, 01:01:34 PM

^  Whether Havertz is a good or bad signing is still up in the air.  But for his price tag, Artera should def use him as the first choice to spear head the Gunner's offense and hope that he'll make way more goals than he did last season.  Lol.  I think he made less than 10 goals for 2022/23 season.

As for the thread's poll.  I think it's gonna be City winning the league again.  But also thinking Liverpool could make a resurgence.  Did Klopp make any good signings?

Havertz is only 24 years old, is 6ft 4in and is full of potential but I cannot see him being a player that frightens Premier league defences. He will never have the same sort of impact as say Haaland had at Manchester City. I think he will fail at Arsenal because is simply not good enough for the Premier League. He was purchased by Chelsea for £62 million and then sold to Arsenal for £65 million 3 years later therefore managers and coaches believe he will become a brilliant player. I doubt it.

At Bayer Leverkusen he had a decent 118 games played with 36 goals considering he was effectively a teenager throughout. That was why Chelsea made him their second highest purchased player but he never reached a satisfactory level for them. Just 19 goals in 91 Chelsea appearances was a dismal return and that is why new manager Pochettino sold him.

What I'm saying is Arsenal def overpaid for Havertz.  But whether he'll be worth the price tag or not will obviously depend on how good he performs.  Next season could prove if Arteta has the Midas touch or he just had a fluke of a season during the last season.  But between seeing somebody succeed or fail, I'd rather root for them to succeed.  It's good to have stories of second chances and having a fairy tale ending after it all.  Good for the league and good for the fans.  Wink

And in Havertz defense, Chelsea wasn't really in great shape when they got Havertz.  Arsenal could give him the stability every player yearns for.
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Big Decentralized Alts (DOGE, LTC and XMR) - Speculation on: July 18, 2023, 12:51:17 PM
I still have my XMR bag from back in the day and pretty sure I have some DOGE somewhere that I took for granted and left them in different wallets but couldn't find the seeds.  Lol.  Not really sure but could be worth over a thousand bucks at the current price ranges.  :/  I mean, who knew it could go over a penny.

As for LTC, held some before but never really cared about it.  Didn't buy the silver to BTC's gold argument.  I thought and still think it's dumb.
1019  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 18, 2023, 12:33:38 PM
Looks like BTC is getting ready to puke guys.  :/  If it doesn't bounce from the red box, dunno...  Maybe it needs to puke again to get a bounce like it did when it dropped to 25k a month ago.  And the whales who were defending 30k looks tapped out.  A little more nudges down and we go lower to the next support down to 28k - 28.5k.

Stay safe out there.

Anyway locked the poll.  And here's the 4 hour chart with the red box.  It don't look too good.

1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AI Coins Speculation on: July 17, 2023, 01:21:28 PM
^  Like anything in crypto, everything comes in trends.  Just because the AI trend isn't hot anymore doesn't mean its time will never come back again.  It will.  Value rotates back and forth and around the market.  But right now it looks like it's rotating to the old school DeFi projects from 2020 and 2021.  Stuff like AAVE and COMP have been going up strong, with UNI and SUSHI being the next.

L1's that had strong market performances at 2020 - 2021 like SOL and AVAX are going up strong too.

So if you missed getting into those coins then watch out for the newer DeFi stuff and L1's.  They could be next.
