Is that what Bitcoins are made from?

I can never believe how cheap property is in (most of) the USA. The average property price (including apartments) in London is now $750,000.

So where can I go and buy me some of them there blockchains?

Nice idea. Decentralized API http://cointelegraph.com/news/115510/worlds-first-dapi-decentralized-application-programming-interfaceBut....... There should be no reason, that I can think of, why you can't introduce an API for banks to link to the SPR servicenode escrow service.
I tend to agree, there's no operational reason, per se. But that's just one element, there are other important aspects to be considered. To get an idea of what kind of escrow services are currently provided and who might be expected to use them, see: https://www.jpmorgan.com/pages/cib/escrow/overviewarms length multi-sig party
That's the fella, an API to cheap, commodity escrow. The concept is proven, the key issue now is whether to focus on the entire market spectrum or develop a tenable niche. Cheers Graham Edit: expanded slightlySo, technically, world's second DAPI Anyone's guess who'll be first to have one up and running. Dash are talking about 12 to 18 months I think. In any case, I think our plans for API are quite different. I look forward to seeing both solutions.

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Innovative cryptocurrency developer does not respond to sensationalist forum troll and serial pest who starts yet another Dash-bashing thread. You heard it first here folks!
Every time I read the word Dashtard I immediately think that the person writing it is a child calling somebody names in the schoolyard. I don't know why but it really gets under my skin. How can you hope to be taken seriously calling people names like that?

Please take a few minutes and read the original post. Hint: It's not about the instamine. Ah, you branched out ? Congratulations - have a biscuit. Yeah, there was already a bigass scamtree, now it has a bigass scambranch too, I suspect it might grow scamleaves and even have some scambabies too the way things are going... now please, explain to me cuz I'm obviously to retarded to understand: Why is Evan buying Dash on the open market while selling Dash Over The Counter? ? Thanks in advance, oh enlightened wise one! I haven't seen anything that explicitly states that Evan is selling Dash OTC. I thought that the Dash Foundation is offering to sell OTC.

Is Mr. Spread even still around? Or did he ever end up coming back? Or has this just been a community takeover ever since he disappeared?
We've had no contact from Mr Spread at all since his disappearance. From memory I think he logged into his BCT account once or twice since he went AWOL but I could be wrong. There was some speculation that he sold at least some of his coins if not all of them when some addresses that were attributed to him appeared to transfer to Bittrex. I'm not sure if this is accurate or not. Please note that georgem's hamster is also called Mr Spread for the avoidance of confusion. Maybe Mr. Spread is Satoshi Nakamoto ! The same way to disappear tell us that it is possible ! Since Spreadcoin has a potential, it could be a work of his own, or of one of his disciple ! Lol, its certainly not impossible but I'll consider it unlikely until we hear otherwise It is clear that Mr Spread had a really clear vision of decentralisation and his approach is fascnating. That said, I personally think he hit a dead end with his approach hence his stepping back. Maybe he was hoping that the community would keep it going, maybe not. Either way, the project is growing stronger and gaining momentum and whilst we tend to keep hype to a minimum and prefer a low profile...exciting times are ahead I hope that some day we'll be back to our historic high price. I remember that some time ago it was really high. My little 405 SPR were worth something more than 4 USD it is now. In the spirit of our refusal to hype what we're doing, I really hope so too

I should add that whilst Mr Spread is no longer with us, his legacy continues. Georgem seems to be finding a surprise in his code every day at the moment.
I think georgem is planning to post an explanation of some of the things he has discovered in the last few days soon.
In the meantime I'm building a mini network of 20 or so full nodes to be used for our first tentative steps out of testnet in the future.

I believe that the reason that Dash isn't considered premined is because numerous people were able to mine from launch.
I expect that the **premine tag was removed because there is no evidence, anecdotal or otherwise, that mining was restricted in any way.

The current block size is 200000 Bytes.
At what point is it worth looking at increasing that?
I suppose it depends on what our expected transaction rate will look like in 1, 2, 5 years time. I've just created 10 new SPR nodes. The blockchain is still syncing on them but they should be up and running in 30 mins or so. 167.114.235.124 167.114.236.121 167.114.236.123 167.114.236.127 167.114.236.128 167.114.238.11 167.114.238.12 167.114.238.14 167.114.238.15 167.114.238.16 These are all EU based. I'm planning on spinning up another 10 in the US and Canada. I haven't got any options for hosting in Asia at the moment but I'll look into that soon. You can also always use the Pool's hostname as a node: spr.suprnova.cc The pool stats are looking pretty interesting. 14MH/s and a block every 25 mins or so.

They have stolen some of my eth coins so they deserve it. I was hoping that this wasn't true but its starting to look very murky. Ironically, Cryptsy are the exchange that required me to provide the most ID in order to trade at volume. Lets hope my personal details are safe. I'm afraid that they're maybe doing this to collect data on everyone that have a relation to Cryptsy and thus establish a list of cryptocurrencies "thugs" ! Or To investigate involvement in illegal activities/not declaring tax for individuals. I wouldn't be using my real ID and and name on the exchanges and associated with the projects I'm involved with if I had anything to hide. I wonder whether a US investigation would be bothered about EU resident tax affairs anyway.

chaeplin, El Presidente, was (is) from South Korea, so I don't think his sudden disappearance is such a humorous subject. He was highly motivated and contributed a ton and a half to development. I doubt he disappeared into thin air by his own will, and I really suspect that May login.
He was a top contributer to Darkcoin, possibly the biggest one to date, in proportion to devs and code written at the time. Despite his sometimes hard to follow english, his tutorials were what made me learn linux, grasp the Masternode concept, and not be scared to give it a shot.
Before Elberethzone's dashninja.pl, his website was the only way, and true blessing, to monitor the network. His work was nothing short of amazing.
He was also a wonderful person on a 1-to-1 basis.
I owe this man quite a lot, and I really hope all is well with him.
For the record, South Korea is an extremely developed country with a high quality of life index and a human rights record that is close to or above many western countries. Good internet too.

I'm a long term supporter of Dash and whilst I ceased involvement some time ago for unfortunate reasons I hope the longer standing members of the community know that I still support Dash as a project.
However, the information about Evolution that has been released so far has left me feeling unexcited. There is no meat on the bones. I believe that the dev team are saying that further details will be restricted for a while for reasons of commercial protection which they are quite entitled to do. Unfortunately this doesn't quite add up for me.
I look forward to reading the whitepaper when it is released. As it stands, the information released so far is uncharacteristically vague compared to the innovation announcements that the Dash team have made over previous years. There are perfectly reasonable explanations for this but for the first time in a long time I'm not completely sold on what is going on.
Time will tell.

If this is true, I find it very funny that they only get 5 XMR a day.
I don't wish to disrespect the millions of people on this planet who have no choice but to live their lives on less than the USD equivalent of 5 XMR each day ($2USD at this moment) but wow...what a lot of pointless effort for a tiny reward.
