1001  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 20, 2023, 10:45:17 AM
<...>
-snip-
And trusted casinos will always try to protect the data or everything in the casino. And the casino will always increase vigilance and security so that data will not be leaked, stolen, or even hacked.

This is true, one can't compare the degree of safety between performing KYC for trusted companies versus brand new or shady projects. However, KYC always carries a risk, we have seen many times with leading companies in their sector, like in Ledger's case where data from 270K crypto wallet buyers were exposed: so no matter how big and secure the company is, there can always be weak points. In fact, the larger the company the more likely it is to be targeted.

That's the reality; we can't guarantee that our data is 100% safe since no company or gambling site is entirely secure. From the moment we submit our documents, we should already consider the possibility of them being exposed due to various reasons. Therefore, we should question ourselves if we can accept such an occurrence.

When it comes to gambling sites, I believe it's not the ideal platform for providing KYC information. However, as gamblers, we are obligated to comply with it if we want to enjoy the experience.
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 20, 2023, 06:58:05 AM
Draymond leaving is the price the Warriors would have to pay for choosing Poole over Draymond in terms of salary contract.

This clearly shows that Draymond no longer has a favorable opinion of the organization. He was a valuable member of the team and played a significant role in the Warriors' multiple championship victories. However, when Poole joined the team and delivered an outstanding performance during their last championship win, the organization decided to give him a max contract to secure his stay.

Unfortunately, Draymond felt disrespected by this decision, leading to a strained relationship between the two players. As a result, it seems likely that both players will leave the team, with one potentially being traded.

If Draymond were to land with the Lakers, I would be confident in betting on them to win the championship.

Newcomers note nobody succeeds overnight stay focused work hard and never give up on your dreams or goal it may delay but it must come to fulfilment.

Most of the time impatient people never reach their goals as they just quit earlier. They'll think that success seems too easy to get and they are wrong because the truth is that - no sweet success if we never work hard and waited patiently. I don't understand but in this new generation, they are really impatient and always wanted instant. I see how these people become desperate in achieving their goals too quickly and easily, and that is why they will do it in an illegal way.
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: June 17, 2023, 12:53:42 PM
Some experts believe that the price of Ethereum will be around $50,000. But this does not mean that you should form your entire portfolio of cryptocurrencies only on Ethereum. With such a commission, I don’t think ETH has very good prospects.

I wish too but that seems unrealistic, really. I don't know who is the expert person saying that but never I see it will reach that far. even though we know and believe that Ethereum is a promising coin. Because if we base it on the current situation and ETH performance, you can't really think that will happen otherwise, it was just nonsense speculation.

I bought ETH because I know it will rise and just like the other people, I also expect a profitable future. If it reaches $5,000, that was already the great achievement of ETH ever.
1005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 17, 2023, 11:01:17 AM

After gambling soooo many years, sky city Auckland, the star Sydney, crown Melbourne, nationalcasino.com, stake.com platinum5 (sylviegreta), wolfbet.com......still struggle hard to become a professional gambler......This is the inmost thing on yourself......Others are the camouflage of the essence of gambling. If these opinions make you find the right direction, I will be super happy.

And I assume also that for that long of been in gambling, you find yourselves as a loser. It means that it is hard to rely on ourselves into gambling and consider this as a source of income. If we are going to gamble, we are aware that this $1,000 in our pocket has no assurance to multiply but possibly it becomes $0. We better expect to lose rather than to win but of course, it is much better to think that we gamble because we want to, not because we chase to win big otherwise, we got only disappointed.
1006  Economy / Speculation / Re: The low support level may still be tested during 2023. on: June 17, 2023, 06:25:41 AM

But no matter ehat happens, best thing is to just hold. In order to do this, manage the risk on investing an amount because it would allow you to stretch you tolerance with bearish market patterns.
That is the most important thing that we are supposed to do because no matter what we do, we can never tell what makes the market dump or pump. Could be the SEC or anything as even the news also have an influential impact on the market trend. The dumps are not a worrying part of crypto because as long as we are holding, we're not losing any cents but the moment that we are panicking and selling off our coins, that's the time we incur losses and blame the market.
Trust and Patience are needed in crypto investment -and I think it was simple to understand.

Is There A Time That You Calculated All Your loses In One Year One Online and Offline

I don't count them as it was impossible to list them all but I just imagine them...
Well, that is something to accept that it was easy to count our winning rather than counting our losses. And aside from that it was sweet to remember those days that we are lucky than those days that we are doomed and hopeless. And what is the reason why we should calculate them in the first place when we know that it only disappoints us and is likely a reason why we don't enjoy gambling as we are now chasing our losses?
1008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you tired of waiting for the jump? Pls Hodl on: June 16, 2023, 10:23:10 PM
I couldn't assure myself how long I could wait but there is one thing I was sure of, and that is to sell when I gain a profit. Because for me, waiting for too long is not good, and why we should have to wait for $100k when we already have the chance to sell them at $70k (as an example), and we are not wasting time and missed the opportunity? Holding is necessary but not all the time we should have to wait for the price that was even hard to reach. We also have to be smart as investment is not all about holding but also selling with a profit.
1009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: June 16, 2023, 09:47:08 PM

Try to imagine, why would you resign from the job you have now if you know for yourself that the profit you get from bitcoin trading is not consistent? I hope you get my point. In short, if you know that trading here in crypto or Bitcoin is not a joke, I am also certain that you will not resign from your job right now, unless you know for yourself that you can take profit every day from trading activity here.
Perhaps, there is no need for him to resign from his current job just for trading unless he has other sources of income that would back up his trading career. I have a friend of mine and yes, he stops working just for trading but the good thing is that he only did this after having 2-3 years of experience. Meaning, he already has enough knowledge and strategies in trading and I know that he can make it and earn more than from the salary of his job ( we're actually at the same company). And now, he becomes a full-time trader and I see him happy with his decision.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think about fantom coin ( FTM). on: June 16, 2023, 12:53:48 PM

I've been to the Website Fantom and I see they are a great project. After I checked their trading charts on Coinmarketcap I have also noticed that they have reached their maximum supply capacity which means the price can keep going up and up to higher prices. It seems like a good idea to invest there  Grin
It looks good yeah, but good luck.
Well, I wasn't sure how it looks like that - I doubt and something we need to be aware of how the manipulation works in the crypto space as they can fake trade volume and trading activities if they want to, and this is what I think about this project. Maybe I was wrong but should have to take extra caution in choosing this project. In fact, it was not really popular in the market which means that only a few are buying. If I were you, I'd rather chooce meme coins instead if we only invest shitcoins.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 16, 2023, 10:56:57 AM

Inoue's footwork and hand speed will be too quick and fast but maybe a single power shot from Casimero will change the fight.

That's what I thought too. As we all are hyped up between the Casimero and Inoue match up, but I just can't deny that Inoue had the advantage in terms of overall skills. I mean Inoue is fast, agile, and has a strong power. inoue is also an unpredictable fighter as he can throw a combination of punches that you'll never know whether he aims for the body or the head. This is gonna be a huge challenge for Casimero in the future, he's defensive skills will put into test against Inoue's relentless offensive fire power. I guess consulting with Donaire will be a huge help for Casimero. Donaire figured out how to take advantage of the opening when Inoue is throwing punches, however It was never enough because Inoue was too fast and also has a solid chin. If Casimero can pull up a perfect counter, he'd for sure going to put Inoue into sleep, but then again that's going to be a very hard thing to achieve.

Casimero has been involved in many battles in the past, including a victory over Zolani Tete, who was faster, taller, and in his prime. Because of this, I have no doubt that Casimero has the potential to defeat Inoue as well. However, the opportunity to face Inoue has not been given to him, which can be quite frustrating. It remains a dream matchup for now. It is possible for the fight to happen if Inoue is willing to take the risk. However, as long as he is under the Top Rank promotion, it might be challenging for him to make his own decision and prove himself against a tough challenger like Casimero.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can One's Religion Compel A Compulsive Gambler To Quit Gambling on: June 16, 2023, 10:14:09 AM
In many religions, gambling is indeed considered a sin, but despite this, there are still individuals who choose to engage in gambling activities. It is true that religion alone may not be the sole determining factor for someone to change their behavior. Ultimately, it is up to the individual's personal beliefs, values, and choices. Religion serves to teach people what is considered right or wrong, but the acceptance and adherence to these teachings depend on the individual's own decisions and level of commitment.
1013  Economy / Economics / Re: Is poverty a lack of money? on: June 15, 2023, 09:42:34 PM

In summary when you have everything you need to survive and you don't need money, are you poor?
Unfortunately, you can live now without money. I don't believe you will survive just having these crops on your land and relying on them without using money, I don't think so. Because in these days, money is very important and that is why people are getting crazy to have more sources of income just to have a comfortable life. Poverty is definitely a lack of money. Even those who have a job already but considering their income isn't enough to give a good living, that still belong to poverty line.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Improve Your Sports Betting Skills and Win More Bets? on: June 15, 2023, 07:17:44 PM

4. Comparing odds from different betting platforms:

I don't actually engage in this because I don't bet large amounts in sports betting. You see, most sports betting sites likely use the same oddsmakers, resulting in similar odds. Even if there are other sports bookies with different odds providers, the disparity wouldn't be significant enough for gamblers to benefit greatly. This only adds value to your betting journey if you're wagering substantial sums, as even a small advantage can have a significant impact on your sports betting experience.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: June 15, 2023, 06:54:38 PM
By the way, McCarthy from the "BLACKWATER" team has played very well to make the team as a winner, the guy scored 30 points against "Converge," and from the later team the Justine Arana did his best with the score of 32, but still the BLACKWATER was victorious in the match by scoring 102 points against Converge.

They can enjoy winning in the exhibition games, but I have doubts about their success once the PBA season officially opens. These players certainly have talent, but we cannot deny the fact that Blackwater will likely continue to serve as a farm team for bigger teams in the PBA.
1016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto another form of gambling? on: June 14, 2023, 10:31:57 PM
You're not betting OP nor do you think it was like a game in that we rely on luck unless you never know what you are doing. But assuming that you know about Bitcoin, I would also understand that you can also differentiate the difference between cryptocurrency and gambling without relying on what you've read in the Dictionary or any sources but just to believe what you have seen now. Because when we say "play and bet" it doesn't mean we are gambling and besides, all investments are risky and everyone has the possibility to lose if mismanage.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC lawsuit caused massive market crash on: June 14, 2023, 09:48:59 PM
Yes, this does always happen. Not just this time, but several times the SEC has had a very high influence on the crypto market. What's more, this time the target is Binance and Coinbase, both of which are big exchanges. So that many parties feel worried and there are also several parties who take advantage of this moment to spread FUD even more, so that they can get crypto prices even cheaper. This happens frequently and will not stop, it looks like the SEC is looking for new targets again. What is their true purpose?
It does as people got worried about when they'll take action because many projects had stop from their operation. Now that Binance has an issue with the SEC, many people got in a panic about what will happen next and they are uploading their coins as fast as they can, even selling them at low prices. We can really neglect the huge impact it creates as it directly hits individual's minds especially those who are new in the crypto market as certainly doubts begin and all their positive mindset turns to negative.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 14, 2023, 08:59:15 AM
Anyone saw the Gotti vs Mayweather fight?

Yeah, I can say that Gotti is a sore loser. He couldn't even throw punches when Floyd was attacking him, probably getting frustrated and seizing the opportunity to attack Floyd when the referee stopped the fight. Gotti was no match for Floyd's quickness, even with Floyd's age disadvantage. I'm not sure if it was part of the script, but if it was, then I would say they were successful, as people were talking about the fight afterward.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: June 14, 2023, 08:29:04 AM
Looking at their odds, even betting for the bookies favorite, Terence Crawford, is still promising and profitable for me because his odds to win at least for the money line is still above 2.00 while for Errol Spence is a little bit over 3.00 . But the trouble is, even though Crawford have some upper hand in this fight, we cannot really underestimate Errol Spence because even if we don't like him that much or at least for me because of what he did recently, he is still undeniably good when it comes to boxing.

Are you sure? If the money line odds for Terence Crawford is above 2.00 while Errol Spence's is over 3.00, then the betting platform will go bankrupt. Nobody will lose if those are the betting odds. If I were a bettor, I would be betting on the two fighters with all my savings knowing that whoever wins, I will make a profit.

You might want to double check your numbers. Last I checked Crawford is the favorite with 1.74 money line odds.
I believe that was just a typo error, hehe. It's quite evident that Crawford is the favored fighter, although only by a small margin. In my opinion, this fight is actually a 50/50 matchup. However, considering Crawford's more impressive victories compared to Spence, it's understandable why he is listed as the favorite. Regardless, the specifics of favoritism don't matter at the moment. Once this fight takes place, both fighters will undoubtedly have their own supporters cheering them on, which will make the bout thrilling to watch.

Yeah, maybe it was just a typo error, however, we know that Crawford will be the slight favorite in this fight and I doubt that there will be a a swing in favor of Porter in the last minute.
This one is also typo, it should be Spence.  Grin

And it just shows what Crawford skills though, this is the best 147 lbs and we have been saying that and we wanted to see this 2 fighters getting into the ring to decide which one is the best. And this could be the biggest fight for this year, I know that there are already big fights like the Haney vs Loma or Garcia vs Davis. But for me, as 147 lbs is the biggest weight class of all boxing, then we might as well see a most likely candidate for fight of the year and the numbers here could exceed the fight of Ryan Garcia vs Tank Davis in terms of PPV and live gates and all the money for networks and their promotional manager.

These fighters in the weight class are actually better than the names mentioned in your statement. Even Garcia or Davis, I doubt they would be able to defeat either Spence or Crawford. Therefore, it's crucial that this fight takes place to determine who is the best in the ring.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: June 13, 2023, 03:31:11 PM

I'm still curious and waiting who knows who will be his opponent in fighting for the title in his class.

According to the report, it was Alejandro Santiago who sparked the creation of this thread. Unfortunately, there is no specific date provided for this particular fight. So, for now, we can continue to speculate and discuss who the better fighter is. Based on my observation, the majority of the posters here are rooting for Donaire to win, despite the age disparity between the two contenders for the belt.
