1061  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading is perfect work for jobless peoples on: April 23, 2023, 02:28:49 PM

It can only be perfect when the person already has experience for a year or more. And even so, day trading can still disappoint him when the market didn't go his way. The crypto market is not as friendly as having a bull run all the time, it has its bear market which is very unpredictable.

Nowadays you can see people saying the bear market is over but you will be surprised that after a week the price will plunge to $23k. (Just my example of an unpredictable market) Becoming a day trader is not easy so I hope they won't leave their job and focus on day trading.
Day trading may be promising and profitable but not all day traders are meant to succeed. Some are just good at the beginning, but eventually lost their enthusiasm once they incur losses and end up quitting. The reason why it can’t be reliable and sustainable as a single source of income. So if you plan to be a day trader, never leave your job and think that trading will give you everything. Even successful traders do not rely on it solely, so how much more for beginner day traders.
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: SPENDING MORE THAN YOU EARN on: April 23, 2023, 02:05:33 PM
Learn to say “no”

This is something that you should really be minding or have this kind of behavior on which it is really better where you dont make yourself get easily tempted on buying things which you do see around. If its something that is beneficial then go ahead but its not something necessary then its better to skip out and avoid it.There are people who do have that good self control and discipline when it comes to things specially
if they are aware on how much they've been earning.

Spending something or an amount which is more than you do earn will really be putting you on huge debt and would really be having some financial problem which is something
that we do really need to avoid on or having this kind of behavior.
Living your life above your means will definitely put you into financial struggles later on. This is really true to most of us especially if we aim to live a lifestyle that’s not suited for us. While it can make us experience comfort and luxury, but it can also lead us drown into debt. And certainly, that’s very unhealthy for us because we will live life being pressured and stressed on how to pay our debts in time, especially if we have no jobs to pay for them.
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is important? Knowledge or Experience? Or both in Bitcoin Learning! on: April 22, 2023, 09:58:32 PM
Both are inseparable. If you aim to learn bitcoin successfully, you should gain knowledge at first and put them into practice later on. You should have your practical training on the knowledge that you have obtained so that it will make more sense. Otherwise, knowledge alone would be useless if you are not applying it. That’s the reason why people tend to earn knowledge first and develop their skills through various experiences so that the chance to succeed in bitcoin, be it in trading or investing would be high.
1064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Essential one to new traders in Crypto currency on: April 22, 2023, 09:34:35 PM
2.You have to learn trading by using a little amount of dollars in practical experience. You should not consider such money as loss. After you learn trading, you can earn 10-20x of the loss money.

This is where you should really be minding or needs to be followed initially when you are really that a complete noob.Never ever make yourself put in a hurry on making profits in short duration
because this would really be creating that kind of desperation which is something that you should really be needing to avoid because instead on making money you would
eventually lost money instead because of desperation which would really be derailing you out of your strategies.
Success is achieved not by taking shortcuts, but by following a step by step process. If you are still new to trading, then never act like you’re already a pro in it. Set your limits and only trade with a minimal amount, so that if you lose you will have no rooms for regretting. And when you’re already making consistent profits through trading, then you can set an increase on your capital so you can also gain bigger profits when your trade succeeds.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I found my financial success in Bitcoin 1 year on: April 22, 2023, 09:11:07 PM
The journey of your success is appreciable and I think that everyone should think the way you think because altcoins can give you enhance profit but their future sometime seems to be unsuccessful due to high hazardous situations related to it.

I don't see any person who have made investment in Bitcoin and experience loss instead of those who make wrong decisions during unfavorable conditions. Your future planning of buying more bitcoin will be profitable but I will suggest that you should get your profit and make investment on the value of your profit so it will be perfectly good for your money enhancement.
I believe when you buy bitcoin and hold it for years, it will certainly bring significant profits on you knowing bitcoin’s value is most likely seen to increase in price rather than to see it depreciating in value. Though altcoins are somehow profitable too, but you cannot make an assurance as to how long they will stay profitable. That’s why if you are hodling altcoins, always be alert to sell when it’s peak price has attained before it’s price decline and lose your expected profits in the end.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting vs fantasy sports on: April 22, 2023, 08:55:43 PM
Nothing beats the rush of blood and excitement that comes with betting on live games. It's just different that way. Fantasy sports could be exciting too, given the fact that for most of them you are given the power to choose which player you'd be picking, but the fact that you're in there, witnessing every single moment unfold in front of you is what makes live betting games more exhilarating and a better enjoyable experience, if you're a gambler that's in it for the thrill and enjoyment. Otherwise of course you'd pick the less stressful one which is fantasy sports.
If you are a traditional gambler, you will really enjoy betting in live casinos and love all those thrills and excitements everytime your bet player or team is leading the game. However, these fantasy sports these days are also making its name in gambling as gamblers in these new generation are hyping it and are more fond betting on it compared to sportsbetting that you can actually see in physical casinos. That’s why fantasy sports are still high in demand these days, but still it cannot beat the demand of sportsbetting.
1067  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 21, 2023, 10:53:58 PM
Have you heard of Superpicks on DSTV? where you can make predictions and win money without staking your money?

if you have not, check it out. Superpicks.com

My question is can it still be called gambling if it is not played with money?
To be honest, it’s a new thing for me. Anyway, thanks for the link. But if asked if gambling really involves money, for me yes. And gambling without money is actually not gambling at all. Maybe you’re just in a game excited what’s next to happen, and there’s no gambling involved in it. Gambling only happens when you are wagering an amount of money, or any amount that you will reap as a reward when you win the game.
1068  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you get familiar with threads? on: April 21, 2023, 09:52:27 PM
Most at times I get confuse and stuck when I see some post with strange or unfamiliar threads but at the same time I will see a lot of people arguing the threads and comments. I don't know how wide is crypto currency with exclusive terminologies like nodes, cores, NFt etc. At some point I wonder what I can do to mingle deeply in the discussion and contributions of this hard terms but one can not said something where you have no ideas. That's why I want to know how you get much familiar with all bitcoin technologies? What should I do?
We all get to encounter unfamiliar words or threads every now and then, but if we also make some follow up research about it, that’s the time it becomes clearer to us. But I believe not everyone is doing their due diligence when it comes to research and studies, that is why they will never grow in the forum and are still lack of knowledge even if they have stayed already quite long years in the forum. Except for those who are still new to crypto, if they won’t stop learning everyday, then the bigger the knowledge and advantage they will get from the forum.
1069  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't invest money you can't afford to lose out of greed. on: April 21, 2023, 08:58:29 PM
Every beginners should definitely know this that everything about making an investment involves taking risk, most especially in dealing with other cryptocurrencies aside bitcoin, whereby we don't know the genuine intention of the developers, also we needed to have it in mind that everything has time a d season, we shouldn't rush or overracted in doing something, we have to put it at the back of our mind that ultimate research is needed and we should secure our investment and always make it private.
Remember that all that glitters is not gold. Newbies should never forget about it and should never be obsessed in investing a lot of crypto coins hoping to get huge profits in the end. This is not the case in crypto, the longer the crypto lives, the more it becomes profitable. And obviously, it’s only bitcoin that has survived over a decade, and the rest are just good at the start but never sustain their value in the long run. That’s why we should only invest in bitcoin and get rid of altcoins.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 20, 2023, 08:11:47 AM
The betting odds for Game 6 are already available. If you plan on betting on Ginebra San Miguel to win, you should take it early as the spread is only -3.5. I'm pretty sure it will move tomorrow as in Game 5, they were -6.5, so there's a possibility it will move that far.

This is a do or die game for Ginebra, and they should win this one. The -3.5 spread is not hard to cover.
Thanks for sharing the betting odds early. Of course, I will take that as Ginebra has been dominating the league for a while now. Brownlee had a stomach problem last game, but I believe he has enough time to heal before game 6. Who knows, he could be well now and already practicing for the game.

Also, the game has gone over many times already. However, I think game 6 should be under as it will be a very defensive match-up.
There's no guarantee that they will win, but if we consider the possible income the league will generate if there's a game 7, Ginebra should be favored to even the series. The only question is whether they'll be able to cover the spread or not, and with a -3.5 spread, that seems easy to cover.

Out of the 5 games played so far, only in game 5 did the favorite lose, but that was due to an obvious reason. If Brownlee was well, the outcome would have been different for sure.
1071  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going down. on: April 20, 2023, 07:55:48 AM
Bitcoin is going down? Yes, you are right, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will continue to go down. With the movements in the past few weeks, it gives us a sign that the bull run could probably be here.

I respect your opinion, but I've seen a lot in the past already, all kinds of FUD, and yet Bitcoin is still standing with thousands of traders and investors.

If we look at the YTD data, it has almost doubled its price already, with the lowest price being at $16k. So, there's no need to panic and believe that Bitcoin is going down. Let's just look at the big picture.

1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 19, 2023, 12:38:00 PM

Ginebra -6.5 @2.05 (boosted) is the way for me to go tonight, good luck everyone.

Sorry mate, but you got unlucky on this bet as Brownlee did not play in the second half. It's unfortunate timing, but since you didn't win this time, I'm sure Ginebra will win Game 6 and push this series to Game 7.

Just like an ordinary day in the office, we win some and we lose some. What matters is that we come back to win.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 19, 2023, 12:22:35 PM
It can happen that way or the young Memphis will use this as a good inspiration to win the game. Morant-less can be a good advantage for the Lakers, as the main gunner / scorer really affects the offense of their opponents.

Time for everyone to step up and provide numbers to cover what they'll possibly missed while Morant
is still in question if he will play in game 2.

The Lakers are full of confidence now ever since Westbrook was traded. They seem to have found the best roster that could win a championship. If they win here despite being in a lower ranking, I believe they still have a shot against the winner of the GSW and Kings series.

Game 2 is very important for Memphis. If we believe they have a chance to win the series, then they should win Game 2 as it's a must-win for them.
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 18, 2023, 11:22:33 AM

Although Donaire may be old, he is still worth watching as long as he keeps winning.

That's being conditional, I think we cannot guarantee that he will win. When he fought Inoue, he was still entertaining to watch because he wasn't afraid to go toe-to-toe, and I liked his confidence in believing he could beat Inoue via knockout, which is why he let his guards off. However, Inoue is an exceptional fighter, and it won't be the same with Santiago, as he's not on the same level as Inoue.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 18, 2023, 10:25:30 AM
My pick for tonight.

Philadelphia 76ers (-3.5) vs Brooklyn Nets = First Quarter Win 1,86 Odds.

Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors (-2.5) = Golden State Warriors  Win 1,86 Odds.

My last bet lost but, I hope my picks for tonight will win.
Good luck guys.

It's amazing how much golden state gets the benefit of the doubt.  They are a terrible road team all year long and they are favored on the road against a quote better team at least by record.  Getting close to the end of the 4th quarter but how can anyone bet on golden state favored on the road against a higher seed.  I still think they will win the series but no way could I lay in on them on game 1 or 2.

That's not what the bookies thought. They believed that regardless of the Warriors' record on the road, people would still bet on them as they are a very popular team. Based on the last two games, I'm sure the Warriors were the public's bet, and that means the public lost a lot of money in those games.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 16, 2023, 07:54:02 PM
I am just curious about how does online casino pay for their promotion on their influencers? Where does their earning comes from? How will you get scammed when you try online casino? How can you tell that online casino is safe?
when you place a bet on a casino's platform and it turns out on the losing side, where does the funds goes??
I thought as much...

If the where no profit in the casino business, they'll be little or no casino out there.

Well, when you lose a gambling game all the money goes to the gambling site and in case you win the gambling houses give you the winning amount. The point to note is that gambling games are not peer to peer games, hence any money lost is a direct profit for the gambling site.
So in order for anyone to run a casino, they need initial funds to pay out the winners but as the casino grows more and more people will lose money and then there won't be a problem for the gambling casino to pay to the winners as they would be collecting huge amounts from people who lose in gambling.
Remember that any gambling casino whether online or offline has its own house edge over its players so clearly people often lose while the casinos are the ones accumulating profits. And those profits are also being used when casinos pay off winners. But we can’t hide the fact that casinos are even more profitable than its players simply because all casino are design to always win than to lose their funds.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 16, 2023, 01:47:52 PM
Certainly there is no strategies in gambling. And if by any means there is any strategy then it should be the cautions to gamble or to gamblers.
There is no winning strategy towards gambling, especially when it comes to casino gambling. The closest you could come is in the sportsbook but even that too comes without any assurance as you still could be beaten on your best bet.

Though, there is nothing wrong with having a style or format of play. It's one way to ensure control over what funds your ready to gamble with and how many tries you would want to take before you either win or exhaust your gambling funds.

It's aways cool you approach gambling with some permutation, even though it's a game of luck.
Right, there are no working strategies for gambling. But people still chose to gamble more believing that their own strategies or styles are effective and would somehow attract luck and profits in the end. That’s the reason why gamblers lose more money than make and earn significant amount of profits. So if you are not cautious and disciplined enough, gambling will definitely used up all your hard-earned savings and put you into its worst situation.
1078  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 16, 2023, 12:44:19 PM
It's okay to borrow if you intend to pay it back and need it. Sometimes it's necessary, but you shouldn't make it a habit like you will borrow to pay another debt. It will be a never-ending cycle that you will not stop doing until it affects your life and go into some parts of your life. It will manifest somehow.

Unless you borrow for asset purchasing that could generate income, that's one of the best things you can do when borrowing money. Make more money with it.
Borrowing is actually not a bad idea if your intention is good, especially if it will be used to generate more income for you. But if you intend to borrow just to pay your first debt, I don’t think it’s reasonable enough. It will only put you into more debts and eventually make yourself drown to it, and when you’re already there, you will find yourself hard to recover and get rid of debt. So as much as possible, learn to avoid borrowing money because that will eventually cause you to struggle financially in the future. You might benefit from it for now, but once you fail paying your debt, it will definitely put you into a lot of stress and pressures.
1079  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: April 16, 2023, 12:21:40 PM
No, it is not too late to start investing in cryptocurrencies. In fact, many people continue to invest their money in cryptocurrencies and make a profit from it. Of course, as with any investment, there are risks, but if you research the market and understand it, you can find many promising opportunities. All in all, investing in cryptocurrencies can be an interesting and rewarding experience, but requires caution and discipline.
As long as you are seeing cryptocurrencies still in good profits, then investing in it is never too late or too early. So investing at the moment will still make a perfect entry to the market. But if you keep on refusing to invest and wait for the perfect time to invest, probably you will end up missing opportunities and eventually lose all your expected profits. So never stay in doubt, start taking some risks so you will experience life changing profits.
1080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter plans to offer buying and selling of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on: April 15, 2023, 09:59:13 PM
They are all rumors: https://twitter.com/bitcoinlfgo/status/1645804390413135875?s=20

They are confirmed to be fake rumors.
Even if they are to be true, I don't really see any good thing that it can add to Bitcoin, because it will be a centralized means of exchanges and another medium for Twitter to generate more income from those that will use the system to buy and sell.
I don’t know what’s behind this but even if this is true, I don’t think it will work for bitcoin since Twitter is way more centralized and requires a lot of KYC verification once buying and selling will be put into execution. Twitter is only meant for social media exposure, not to act as crypto exchange.
