I mentioned Leipzig's situation in my last post and now it has come to my mind how great Openda has been performing at the same time. He came here from a lower tier team like Lens after having a pretty awesome season in the Ligue 1. I had doubts about whether we would see him adapting and showing as good performance as that when he comes to Leipzig.

But now we clearly see that he is really impressive. He doesn't only make do with scoring 9 goals in the Bundesliga. He is a good scorer in the Champions League on one hand too. This leap in his career could bring about offers from even bigger teams in the near future in my opinion. Do you think as well that he has a brighter future?

Arsenal was surprisingly lose from Lens few weeks ago and after international break they will try to get revenge from Lens in the 5th match and if Arsenal win from Lens they will be automatically qualified and most likely finish at first position but Lens also had same ambition because if they can able to beat Arsenal then Lens has just open their opportunity to qualified and after beated PSV last week Lens can able to bounce back and won from Marseille with narrow scores at Ligue 1 even so with Arsenal that recently they got 2 consecutive wins in all competitions so this is interesting who will be the winner of this match and i assume as a host Arsenal will being an the favourite

Arsenal's odds are around 1.26 to win the next game against Lens. Honestly I'm not surprised with that at all. Because technically they are a huge favourite to win this game despite the loss in France against them before. Arsenal weren't having a good day back then and Lens took advantage of it really nicely.

However we must have all seen how ambitious they were against Sevilla in Emirates the last time.  Smiley  I'm expecting to see the same ambition here as well. In addition to that winning this game means they are securing the lead at the same time. Therefore I don't expect a big mistake from Arsenal.

Teams until Aston Villa are in a really nice competition for the lead in the standings. However after Aston Villa there is some decent point gap with the remaining teams. If Manchester United didn't have a bad start they would have been in a better position now. Even though they have lost many points they are still 4 points behind Aston Villa.

The board are still believing in Erik ten Hag to make this team better. He had better take advantage of this chance well and find a way to improve the form. They need to be effective and consistent in defense especially. Because they concede really simple goals.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 15, 2023, 09:51:27 PM
Such news like Chelsea will make an offer for Osimhen in January has been refuted. However it was already meaningless honestly. Because they already have Nkunku even though he is injured. When he recovers they would go on with him and then decide whether there is a need for another striker. But of course we don't know when Nkunku will recover for now.  Sad

I think Chelsea should sign a better goalkeeper rather than signing a striker now. I don't like Robert Sanchez now. He isn't a player who is at Chelsea's level at the moment. Kepa is also not coming back at least until the end of the season and I doubt his future at Chelsea later as well.
1225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 15, 2023, 09:43:01 PM
Lewandowski is still quite useful for Barcelona. So far his statistics are like 7 goals and 3 assists in 11 games in the La Liga. I think this is quite good when we think he is 35 years old now. The main problem with him is inconsistency now. Because they haven't been scoring for 6 games in a row including the Champions League games as well until the Alaves one.

He put a really good end to that bad streak by scoring 2 goals there. However his contribution will be more valuable in bigger games. Especially in the Champions League he is needed quite much.

Tottenham continue to surprise us. First the huge loss against Chelsea after being shown 2 red cards and now this loss against Wolves... I really don't know how they managed to lose this game honestly. It was like an epic ending for Wolves side for certain. Because both goals came in the stoppage time and the winning goal was even in the last moments.

One thing you need to understand in football is that no matter how strong or in-form a club is, there are some certain club that they always finds it difficult to win or even if they are to win them it will be a narrow win.

Wolverhampton wanderers may seen as though they ain't visible in the league but check out since they were promoted to the premier league in 2018 most of the big clubs finds it very difficult to win wolves and if we take a look at the match they won Manchester city 2:1 you will understand that this club is good and within some time they might start being visible in the league and competing with the bigger clubs.

Though the injuries woes that Tottenham suffered also contributed to their current drop in form but that shouldn't be a prerequisite to undermine the opponent they faced as their opponent were tactical and played good football in other to win Tottenham.

Of course I know that mate.  Smiley  But still when a team are doing great in the league and start losing points for two games in a row it is natural to become surprised. But it isn't like I'm saying "Oh no! This is impossible!".  Cheesy

I just really love to watch Ange Postecoglou's system here and I want to see it as much as possible. In short I would like to see Tottenham competing for the Premier League title this season. Because this poor team haven't been able to win a single title here for many many years. This is like the best season they have had in so many years.
1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: November 15, 2023, 12:24:51 PM
There is an Israel - Switzerland game tonight which is the only game of the day at the same time. Israel played an away game against Kosovo three days ago and got a disappointing result like a 1-0 loss. This even included Kosovo in the race for qualifying for Euro 2024. Now they are hosting Switzerland which got a really solid result against themselves by 3-0 before.

Maybe Israel don't concede so many goals. Their defending is similar to Switzerland now. However when it comes to scoring productivity they are really bad. 7 goals in 7 games against 20 goals in 7 games here. Considering their previous head-to-head as well I don't expect Switzerland to lose here.
1228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 15, 2023, 12:19:11 PM
Inter and Juventus are on a great streak at the moment. Even Juventus are away from the closest opponent in the standings by 6 points now. These two teams seem really promising for the Serie A title at least for now. I don't have much doubt about Inter to maintain a good form in general. But when it comes to Juventus I start having doubts.  Sad

They are indeed way better than the previous season. And they are winning in their usual style which is like wins by one goal. However it has been a long time since we saw Juventus this solid. Therefore I can't be sure about whether they would be consistent during most of the season.
1229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 15, 2023, 12:13:26 PM
Leipzig are trying to regain momentum currently. That loss against Mainz was quite unpredictable honestly and I doubted them against Freiburg after that. However Leipzig didn't upset their fans as well and won by 3-1 home. I'm not a Leipzig fan by the way I meant other people.  Grin  Anyway now they have started a winning streak again.

The fight for top 4 would be quite fierce in my opinion. Because Leverkusen are also in this area and they are even the leader. In addition to that we have Stuttgart here as a new team. It is mostly thanks to Guirassy's incredible effort of course. In this situation Dortmund and Leipzig would need to fight harder for top 4.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 13, 2023, 04:39:52 PM
Girona are still maintaining their lead. They got another win this time against Vallecano away. Technically they did what Real Madrid couldn't against Vallecano.  Grin  It is such an insane form by them so far like I said before as well. They have games against Barcelona and Atletico Madrid later on too so I'm curious about whether we would see a similar scenario to their Real Madrid game before.

Because they didn't look strong in a really tough game. But even if they lose against them both as well they would still be doing a great job in the La Liga with this amazing form for sure. There is a really huge difference between this and previous season and I'm curious about how they managed to make such progress.

Exactly my man!  Grin
Real Madrid failed to win Rayo Vallecano. Not that alone, Real Madrid failed to score against Rayo Vallecano. Girona did by scoring in both halves of the game. In the last five matches they've played, they've accumulated good points amongst underdogs like them and that's a good way to leave for the International games.

Now that's the main test, they could go down below to fourth position, if they loss both, I'd like them to draw both and not lose, they way they will keep a good head. But, I'll be super shockey to see them beating em both. They failed the test against Real Madrid, lest see if they would against the reigning Champions of La Liga and Diego Simeone's side.
I want them to at least qualify for one of the European Competitions next season, they deserve it.

Who knows, Girona might even make it to the Champions League like this by at least finishing at the fourth position. The momentum they have gained so far is such a big one that no team except Real Madrid have been able to stop them. I really like it when I see this kind of teams rising in big leagues at least for one season.

There is a Malaga example in the 2012/2013 season if you remember. They had a great season in the La Liga first and qualified for the Champions League. They even reached the quarter-finals and barely got eliminated by Dortmund.  Grin

Maddison and Richarlison both weren't able to play due to injuries. This was a big hit to Tottenham of course. But I still believed in their impressive team effort in general of the season so far. But we couldn't see that here at all. If they managed to keep that 1-0 advantage to the end then I would have called it a lucky win honestly.  Sad
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 13, 2023, 04:29:03 PM
Lens continue to climb in the standings which is nice to see. Because for a while they haven't been able to do well in the Ligue 1 while they are really impressive in the Champions League. But finally they managed to start getting better results in the Ligue 1 as well. They hosted Marseille last night and won by 1-0.

However that winning goal came quite late in the game. If it weren't for that goal in the 90th minute they were going to add another draw to their streak. The game was quite balanced by the way that also had an impact on this score.
Is now a good time to bet on a Lens win? considering that they have finally been able to get up and even beat Marseille. I feel that this team has made comprehensive improvements and the performance shown has produced good results in the last few matches. Marseille's late win should be full motivation for Lens to get another win and even now they are in a better position and that is a stark contrast to what they were at the start of the season when they were in the relegation zone previously.

Meanwhile, Marseille still seems to be having difficulty maintaining their consistency and they have to be willing to lose another point this week. Marseille, which made a pretty good start, is now starting to falter and is still stuck in 10th position in the standings. Of course this is not a good result considering that in the last 5 matches they were only able to get 1 win.

I think Lens still need to win more games as often as possible to prove themselves for bettors.  Grin  Because if you have seen their recent results in the league they have had a lot of draws. This isn't convincing enough for me to start betting on them without big doubts. They are still in the race for last sixteen round in the Champions League on one hand.

Therefore I want to observe them about how good they will be able to manage this time period there and in the Ligue 1 at the same time. If they make us watch a good performance then I can start giving them chances sometimes.

While Bayern Munich are moving on without point loss Leverkusen are not so different than them either. Xabi Alonso's team have been incredible so far. When it comes to scoring productivity they are the second biggest team currently as well. Bayern Munich's statistics about that is just something else though.  Grin

All in all it looks like Xabi Alonso and his students are determined to stay in this league title race until the end of the season. I would really love to see that honestly because I'm also fed up with seeing the same team becoming the champions over and over again.  Sad

I never expected such game between Chelsea and Manchester City. I was giving Manchester City a huge chance to win this game away honestly. However it was one of the unforgettable games in history for both sides. Despite the rain we watched 8 goals in total.  Shocked  Chelsea's resistance was amazing by the way.

They are really getting used to scoring 4 goals in each game these days.  Grin  Manchester City could have won by 4-3 though if it weren't for that penalty. But it was an unlucky tackle by Dias as the ground was really slippy. It is really hard to tackle carefully under such pitch conditions.

The last foul that gave chelsea penalty was clean foul. I think that anyone know that but i must admit that if this is the best match. The atmosphere is pretty much the same like final. It's unbelievable to see chelsea played so crazily against manchester city.

It feels like that chelsea was not willing to lose against city. That's also the reason why the club keeps try even until the end of game. Many people are picking city to win the game but chelsea made it different this day.
Guess how many people are losing their bet today caused by the result from this match? this is unbelivable to say that if chelsea was doing it so perfect. That's so amazing to see that. The gameplay has very fast tempo

Im feeling if we was in the final. The atmosphere is pretty much the same like final. This is amazing and unbelievable performance from chelsea.

When it comes to penalty yeah it was definitely the right call there. But if we talk about the other penalty given to Haaland I can't back that call honestly. Because it is clearly seen that Haaland pulled down Cucurella's arm first and after that Cucurella did it to Haaland. I don't think that pulling should be considered as "neck and neck".

Other than that we watched a really incredible game that's for sure.  Cheesy  It was nice to see Chelsea seeing some good signs to recover. They have left the toughest games of the first half of the season with 4 points. I mean against Tottenham and Manchester City.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 13, 2023, 10:28:02 AM
Maybe I talked nonsense there.  Tongue  It was too much to ask from Kalvin Phillips to be a part of Leeds in the Championship. But he can at least join a team now at which he can find many more chances in the starting eleven. It is very difficult for him to do that at Manchester City now as you have also said.

He is a talented midfielder so he shouldn't just let himself fade away like this. Probably we would see some offers coming to him in even January. But I assume he would like to join a different team more if that team are competing in the Champions League as well.

No you didn't completely  Smiley Seeing Juventus wanting a midfielder after the suspension of Paul Pogba and whoever the gambler was LoL!
They'll need his service only for a short term, for thee next six months and if he suits in well with how they play, then talks can continue between the both parties ( Manchester City and Juventus ) I'm sure of Manchester City wanting to sell the lad, what about Juventus Buying? That I don't have a clear view.

Manchester City signed him for 49 million euros but now his market value seems to be 28 million euros. They must be aware of the fact that they can't sell him by making any profit from now on. But they would still like to sell him at the earliest opportunity as it seems. Juventus had better benefit from this chance as they might be able to sign him without paying too much money.

If they don't have a better alternative than Kalvin Phillips in mind then they should go for him. Pogba is no use for them and it has always been like this since he joined them from Manchester United.  Sad

Harry Kane is really unstoppable in the Bundesliga. He is much more comfortable here. He has already scored 17 goals and made 5 assists in 11 games. This is like a "farmers league" for Kane now honestly. I can't find any other explanation to this incredible performance. We have watched him in the Premier League which is the top league in Europe and he still showed a very high level performance then too.

He is a world star striker and Bayern Munich had better take advantage of a talent like this in the Champions League as well. It is obvious that they need to get better there.

have you seen the penalty gifted to Inter?

I have no words how this is even possible in Var time.

It must be the cheapest penalty ever given.  Sad  Thuram is obviously trying everything he can there to misguide the referee. It is clearly a deceptive move by Thuram there but even VAR doesn't care about it at all. I don't know how they can make a this simple mistake. Maybe Inter would have still won the game but justice must always be served.

By the way what an amazing goal it was by Dimarco first! I assume it was an intentional attempt after seeing the goalkeeper a little ahead. It was a great attempt that's for sure.
