Damn Blackcoin, why you falling so much  Huh

Seriously a bunch of people must be selling at a loss right now... easily 20 million blackcoin bought and sold above 2000 and people are panic selling at a loss down to 1200.

Wtf.
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: March 15, 2014, 10:47:56 PM
Mintcoin is a premined version of Blackcoin with a silly 20% rate of interest. I used to own both Mint and Blackcoin but the Mint dev pissed me off asking for 5 million in Mint donations to implement something after he's already been given 700 million MINT (worth hundreds of Bitcoin).

If Mintcoin goes up it's good for Blackcoin as BC is a non-premined version of MINT... Blackcoin will surely follow and eventually overtake.

Price is down, you can refresh and watch the top 10 wallets grow. #1 was @ 2 million coins earlier, now its over 3. Gobble gobble nom nom nom

edit: since the time I posted this #1 moved up over 100k.

This doesn't show the correct amount for my wallet.

Wallet != address.

It's interesting that all the big walls around 5000 satoshi have vanished.
1666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlackCoin vs NXT on: March 15, 2014, 08:07:55 PM
Blackcoin is like a bitcoin version of NXT.

NXT is based on completely different codebase to Bitcoin. And the coins were distributed purely by paying for them

Blackcoin there was an initial proof of work mining process to distribute the initial coins.

There are some similarities but also some major differences.

Notice at 2400 there is a 40 BTC buy wall. I suspect this is by the whale who dumped all the way down there and now hopes to buy back cheaper.

This is the third time there's been a sharp downward spike in the last 24 hours. Each time so far Blackcoin bounced back quickly and then rocketed up to new heights. Lets see what happens this time. I would rebuy but I'm now officially ALL IN.

I hope it pays off for you buddy, I don't think I've ever gone all in on anything.

Thanks bro! It's only all in with my trading funds. I haven't put my life savings on the line  Cheesy

Yeah, definitely buy dude. Buy all my sell orders at 4000-5000 satoshi please. Easiest 10 BTC right here, and then I'll put more

Please learn to read before trying to troll  Cheesy

5000 satoshis will be a big psychological barrier to break through + a lot of traders will take some profits at this round number. Therefore I expect us to smash through 5000 in a few hours rather than the next 30 minutes. Either way, it definitely an opportunity for new comers to acquire a decent amount before we get too high.

Ladies and gentlemen, Blackcoin just overtook Dogecoin for total volume traded in the last 24 hours across every exchange!

We are now the number 3 traded coin in the entire crypto universe in the last 24 hours! Behind only Litecoin and Bitcoin.

Prelude by Moolah has been delayed to have a 3rd party assess security issues. They will launch sometime next week. http://blog.moolah.ch/ We should monitor this exchange closely and try and get on. It should be one of the best new exchanges.

I agree. They added Mint and Blackcoin is basically a better version of Mint (no premine, better dev, bcmultipool, no silly 20% interest etc), and given the phenomenal interest in Blackcoin I think we stand a good shot.

Is there an email address?
1674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | scrypt | PoS | No premine on: March 15, 2014, 05:27:40 PM
All good points. Price action suggests holding, if in doubt, do nothing. This trendline is not steep despite what seem like high levels or satoshi per BC. But market cap is only $2million. It's peanuts. This can go many many times that level without a flinch.

+100.

Blackcoin is the closest thing you can get to a sure-fire winner at it's current valuation. I believe this is exactly why it's rising in price so steadily, because people recognise it's still cheap as chips.
1675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT]Mintcoin, Energy Saving Coin With a Fast Distribution *20 Exchanges on: March 15, 2014, 05:22:07 PM
It's a crying shame that the dev premined 700 million MINT specifically for bounties and development, yet the community has to reach into it's own pockets and chuck their own hard earned MINT onto the table to try and encourage the lazy dev to do something.

Long live Blackcoin imo.

1677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: March 15, 2014, 04:36:10 PM
When the coin was in the 500-1000 range the trading volume was less than 50btc a day. In fact the day before the pump started the trading volume was 11btc.

Trading volume didn't go wild until we hit 1500+. And it's been steadily increasing ever since. I see us breaking 1000BTC traded in 24 hours today if this keep up. The last 3 hours 215BTC has been traded alone.
1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: March 15, 2014, 04:19:25 PM

This is why I have asked cryptolawyer to ballpark a legal/regulatory cost to get said Direct USD to NXT exchange operating in New York.

Well forgetting for a second that no costs have been mentioned by Lawksy regarding the NY "bitlicences", you have to remember the upcoming New York regulation only applies to businesses serving New York citizens. If a New York based business serves customers in the other states of america, they will need the conventional money transmission licenses for those states if they want to do it by the book (estimates for these range from hundreds of thousands into the millions to cover every state and will take 1 year+ to get since you apply individually for them to each state and each state has their own requirements and costs. I believe 2 states don't need such licenses).

It's taken Kraken millions in funding to get their platform where they are today and they are still not operating in the US much. But they are the most legally compliant exchange I know of.

Vote to get Blackcoin on Cryptsy - https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes

We are way down the list there, need to be much higher! BTC sent also counts as votes, like at Mintpal.

Re-post and quote this message throughout the day plz  Smiley

At this rate cryptsy might just add us based on trading volume alone.
+1 cryptsy just lose so much money / in same time Mintpal is very good : ) Do we really need Cryptsy so much?

Cryptsy has 100k registered users. A chunk of those overlap with with Mintpal I am sure but it's a certainty a good amount of them aren't on Mintpal or even know about Mintpal.

People saying Cryptsy kills coins don't understand the markets and how they work. For this particular coin, going on Cryptsy is a very good thing.
1680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: March 15, 2014, 03:22:52 PM
I read your post mr_random. I have been saying the same thing for 800 pages of this thread. Still atomic-trade is not up and running. Vault of Satoshi is no longer serving U.S. customers. Coinpayments.net is closing down. Screw these third party exchanges. Nxt needs its own, or better yet a bunch of them.

Seeking solutions to the BTC before NXT conundrum.

Here it is in NON-Greek. NXT needs a USDollar to NXT exchange preferably in New York. NXT does not need listed on another exchange that must first have funds pass through BTC before NXT.

The Chinese can buy NXT directly with Yuan at bter, Americans or anyone with dollars cannot buy NXT without first buying BTC.

I take it you didn't read beyond the first paragraph in my post where I talk about NXT to USD exchanges needed.

The problem with having a "standalone" NXT to USD exchange is building up a customer base. Bitstamp has a freaking enormous customer base. If we got on Bitstamp I bet our market cap would overtake Litecoin and head to 1 billion dollars. No joke. Ripple is where it is today thanks to Bitstamp.

But we also have btc-e. That would bring lots of fresh blood into the game if we could get on there.

Kraken is also growing nicely but that is more for Euro to NXT exchange at the moment.

Don't get me wrong, a brand new NXT to USD exchange is a good thing to have, but the effect that would have on NXT's demand would be very gradual, could take a year to build up customers etc. We should pursue that in parallel with getting NXT on the bigger exchanges eg Bitstamp, BTC-e, Kraken, Huobi.
