This is certainly true, everyone should think more about it, and let's not forget that he created his own centralized blockchain so he can do whatever he wants there, even creating fake bitcoin for supposed ''lower fees''.

I don't think it's only Nigeria. A lot of countries are facing the same issue, especially if the trades are going through licensed exchanges. Most altcoin creators don't care about bitcoin, or, if they care, all they care is to get some of its "market share".

Unfair competition, by any means, in this case even funding Greenpeace for a false narrative is just one more facet of the "game". Ripple cannot lose anything, it already have its "reputation" amongst bitcoiners. They can win by getting Bitcoin down or they can lose, but the loss will only make Greenpeace look bad, not them. So pretty much a win-win situation, all done with some pocket money.

Musetti yesterday has been a bit unlucky, but he is really young so he has enough time to reach better results for sure.
