Well after picking the New Jersey Net's to win it all, I am still a bit stunned that they are already out of it. I thought for certain that they would at least make the conference finals. However since they are out I've got to pick a new team to win it all so I'm definitely heading towards putting my money on the Golden State Warriors. Those guys are just too good. Steph and Klay potentially the first and second best shooters of all time, that's a lot to handle for any team.
Nobody had really expected that the Nets would be swept by the Celtics in the 1st round of eliminations, actually their closest win is only on Game 1 but on the following games is really hard to deny that Celtics really dominated the whole team because of their monstrous offense and tight defense. The GSW is a good bet but the odds now are not that juicy enough unlike when they are still in the 1st round, but yes, there is a high chance that they would be a candidate on the Finals and maybe win this season. |

The Celtics is indeed interesting to watch each game because they have that capacity to dominate even the heavy teams in the league right now and make them struggle, even if they are defeated, they will surely bounce back in the next game and correct the mistakes they did to have a must win as they cannot afford to lose a straight 2 games.
Now that they are back in Boston, the Celtics now have a higher hand when it comes to advantages while the Bucks are still undermanned. Last game, Al Horford and Jayson Tatum exploded while stating that they are not easy to defeat despite being the underdog.
I completely agree. However, I just think that the Bucks have way more experience and will likely outlast the Celtics when it comes to a 7-game series. Yes, they have a lot of talent and will be scary for years to come etc. but I think that Giannis will just be too much for them to overcome despite all the advantages that they may have. Giannis is just on a different level. No doubt about Giannis's power and experience that is really helping the team to move even if they are undermanned against a healthy team but as I looked into the previous records this series. The answers of the Celtics is much better as they continually dominate the Bucks with a huge score difference while the Buck's just barely made it. This will be a tough series, if only Middleton wasn't injury then I can really say that the Celtics won't reach this far. |

They already win one game at Memphis backyard with Ja Morant playing. And they way they should their pose last game, Grizzlies will need a lot of help, someone will have to step up and have big numbers otherwise if Curry and Thompson and Poole started hot in the first quarter. It will be hard to do catchup because the team knows very well how to protect their lead in the closing minutes.
Grizzlies are doing their best they can to have a chance to win here but they need to be more consistent with their playing and strategies because as we can see in the past games the lead is not that huge aside from a game 3, and they can get that win if they focus on the game. Better not to let the top players of Warriors to have a good game in the first half or else, their series will end now. It's also unfortunate to loss your key player, this will be a big challenge for Grizzlies to stay alive, but I think Warrios will be more serious in the next game, they want to proceed on the next round already. I think they are focus on the game, it's that the Warriors are very experience in this kind of close game. While Morant is injured, the Warriors wasn't able to get advantage because they trailed most of the game. But as I have said, their experience let them finished and take a big W. So Memphis back is against the wall and we don't know if they can response because it seems that the Warriors is eager to end the series. Memphis might still thinking the opportunity they wasted in game 4, if they won that game, they should not feel the pressure of winning the game tomorrow because they will be eliminated if they lose. Memphis is a good team, they are capable of winning even without Morant, so I think they'll play harder tomorrow, but like you said, Warriors will used their experience to close the series. It's almost too late for them because even if they have won that game, Ja Morant can't probably return and play for the rest of the series because of his injury and now I think there's just a little hope that they can survive the game later because now they are in a dangerous spot of getting eliminated in the series. |

Meanwhile in the other game, I felt so sad on what happened to Ja Morant. Even if I believe that GSW still win their series but it should've been more exciting and more playoff experience for Ja. GSW should be able to seal their series tomorrow.
For tomorrows game, there's no more excitement for me either as Ja Morant's MRI revealed a bone bruise in his right knee. I agree, I know the Warriors will still make it to the other side but this it's too unfortunate because this should be an entertaining series. I can't comment on that since, in those 2 lost games by the Suns, they didn't show their 100% performance. If only they gave their 100% and still lose, I can conclude that Dallas Mavericks are really ahead of them. Returning from home, Phoenix Suns will do everything to take the lead in this series. However, I'm with the Mavericks to win. If let's say the Suns will lose here, there will be more critics of Chris Paul about being a choker in playoffs, as always. Same here, I also cannot honestly give some opinion on if the Mavericks is really already that ahead of the Suns. The series is still tied and there's still room for the Suns to answer back and bounce back after getting defeated twice in a row. I won't deny that the Mavericks are really threatening the Suns position here but the latter team won't surely back down that easily especially for what have happened on Game 4. |

The Bucks have been pretty dominant in the paint and if that remains the case tonight, then Celtics will have to rely on their efficiency from behind the arc ?
Giannis most FGs came from the paint. Really hard to stop him even with a help defense. Because that was the case, the Celtics just need to improve their offensive phase to counter Giannis' dominance in the paint. It's like the Celtics will do much of an offense > defense but it doesn't mean they won't try to stop Giannis obviously. Well the Celtics big 4 produces huge numbers for the game 4 to win. Tatum and Horford both have 30 points and Smart and Brown 18 points apiece. Giannis another 34 point explosion in a losing effort, but they totally blew it off in the 4th as they were outscored 43-28 in that quarter. They have the lead entering the 4th quarter and I thought that they are going to win again. But thanks to Jayson and Al who get everything going for the Celtics again. Yet another plot twist in this playoffs, it looked almost for over for the Celtics after the 3rd Quarter, and Celtics were having big foul troubles, but the run to start the 4th was good, and Al Horford was really great tonight, despite early fouls too he did restrict himself for making unnecessary defensive plays. I think the Bucks felt a little bit cocky going into the 4th, and all it took was couple of possession and stop for the Celtics to build a lead to win the game. And it just shows that no lead is safe in this playoffs, we've seen Memphis did it against the Wolves, and then Warriors as well with the Memphis, a come from behind victory. I don't think that the Bucks get cocky, it's that the Celtics has a good game in the 4th quarter and the Bucks can't buy a basket. And then we have Tatum coming back in the final quarter, and rebounding from his uninspired performance in game 3. Ja Morant's possible missing tonight's game is a big disadvantage for the Memphis Grizzlies. Remember that in Game 3, they were put by the Warriors in a big margin lead prior to Morant's exiting the game because of that knee-grabbing incident. Therefore, with or without Morant, they were really struggling against the Warriors in front of the Chase Center's crowd.
With that incident, I'm not sure how the Grizzlies will cover what Morant will leave.
For some bettors, the -10 handicap seems can be easily covered by the Warriors.
Memphis played with the heart even without Morant. They almost beat the Warriors at home. If they did not miss those important FT, they were still ahead with a good margin but sad to say that they were not that confidence compared with the Warriors, Poole, Wiggins and especially Curry who buries those important FT to secure the game, they win it, but didn't cover that early handicap. And take note, the Warriors is now slacking a bit as we saw it because they know that they can really close the game in their favor especially now that there's no Ja Morant around. I'm also with the speculation that the Philadelphia 76ers might even the series in tonight's game. Joel Embiid's presence really plays a big impact that's why some of his teammates awaken in their previous game. If his teammates will be like that tonight, they will manage again to freeze other Heat scorers like what they did last game. Only Jimmy Butler performed in the Heat's last game, maybe he already knows well how to deal with the Sixers as that was his former team. Embiid is indeed the most valuable piece of the team, judging the last 2 games, it is very evident how the Sixers were playing with him on the floor. I actually believe them to reach the finals and the Nets, but unfortunately the Nets was awful lol. Now that the Sixers have the momentum another win in game 5 and most probably the Sixers will advance to the CF. Without Joel Embiid, the 76ers will indeed struggle and starts to question their self confidence instead of improving and yes we have definitely saw what happened on them on the first two games without Embiid. They are literally getting bullied and even Harden himself cannot do something to atleast minimize the gap of the scores. Actually, I'm shocked that he made 30+ points last game. |

I confess that I underestimated the Dallas Mavericks and unfortunately I suffered some defeats, I believe this serves as a lesson.
The Mavericks surprised me by beating the Suns with team basketball last game. I don't think that will continue, but as far as tonight goes... I'm not expecting any surprises. I think the Warriors win easily over the Grizzlies and the Bucks should be able to take down the Celtics. Giannis himself seemed to insinuate during the last after game press conference that the refs weren't exactly calling a fair game. Most likely he'll be able to step up and take care of business tonight. Without Ja Morant at 100% though, Steph and the Warriors should be able to beat the Grizzlies by 20+ tonight. Both games on TNT.  I know they were blown out last game but I don't expect 2 in a row like that. Team is young and will be tough to win in the playoffs but 20+ is a lot even in golden state. Maybe I'm wrong but I've watched Memphis all year they are a strong team, they almost played better at times without Ja, it's like they know they can't fall back and hope he pulls it out. The whole main reason why the GSW dumped huge margins in the game 3 is to regain their self confidence and state again that they are the hot Warriors and ofcourse for Klay Thompson. But on the Game 4, I already expected that they will still win again because Ja Morant is already not around with the team and I know that they will try to slack a bit. Now it's already 3-1, I wonder if the Warriors could eliminate the Grizzlies at Memphis. |

Warriors dominate Memphis in game 3, and now the discussion is over that Memphis has a chance of beating the Warriors. It's because the Warriors are playing small ball, that's why Adams is used sparingly in this series. Not sure what Memphis strategy as far is Adams is concern, again, he is not the focal point of their offense. And with Morant's injury, Memphis chances are very slim against a championship like the Warriors. Too many offensive options and they have skilled defenders as well. Can play small and can have a legit center in Looney. Everyone on the Warriors roster are making the right contribution they need to win game 3. Poole 27 points Curry 30 points Thompson 21 points Wiggins 17 points Kuminga 18 points Porter Jr. 13 points. overall - WARRIORS 63% shooting percentage. Look at that numbers, the offense are coming from everyone, so sure Memphis has no answer from that. I have a feeling that game 4 will be the same as what happen in game 3, if Morant will not play, it's going to be easy money for the Warriors. |

I like how Philly won't go down easy in this fight but I also do believe that this might be the only game they could win in this series with Heat.
Heat is on another level right now with everyone playing on high pace and high quality basketball so it's really difficult for me to see them losing another game or the series. I've also said a few days ago that Heat and Celtics are looking the strongest right now with one of them ending up as a winner.
Because they know that this opportunity can't be missed, so they decided to play Embiid and it works for them. I agree, for them this is just another game, maybe they are not ready for Embiid, nevertheless they are still in front of the series and it's time for them to device another game plan to counter Embiid presence in the middle. They still have Bam, so it won't be very easy for Joel to dominate the inside. Bam is good but Embiid is better than Bam that's why he is one of the favorites on the MVP competition this season. 76ers just got what they missed in the 1st two games, so I'm a bit confident also that 76ers will be able to even the series after game 4. |

GSW just destroyed Memphis last night and let's be honest , how many of us got jebaited with this Memphis team what looks on next level ? Well , I was one of them but after what I saw in highlight in this game and how GSW simply gave 0 chances for Memphis to even keep to score closer...yea , they had a great 1st quarter but after that it was only GSW.
Warriors did the right defense, Morant was still effective but only him in the team is consistent thus far. The small of ball of the Warriors is still unstoppable, and the good thing is that some players stepped up in game 3. Morant left the game with a possible injury, let's see his availability in game 4. Also , after this game , we can all agree that Memphis has no chances left for this series.
There's a little chance, but if Warriors lose game 4, then we will have to think again. |

The Greek Freak did it again. 42 points 12 rebounds 8 assists. Great performance and becoming more of a facilitator. The Celtics did gave him a hard time to attack the paint by aiming for an offensive foul whenever he runs wild but it didn't stop him by using spin moves to create space and using his strong upper body to force his way in.
That's a great player, and his FG percentage has also increase, so you can tell that he is consistent in the series. No one from the Celtics could stop him, he will dominate and that's the major advantage of Giannis even without his buddy Middleton. Shutting down Tatum was the first priority then everything goes their way. Good game and the ending was a bit dramatic.  Worse game so far for Tatum, I'm not sure how they'll adjust that in game 4, if they can't then it' safe to assume that the series will be 3-1 going back to Celtics home court. |

But Tank has the experience not to fall for Romero's antic inside the ring. The odds really show that it is going to be a mismatch. Maybe it's better if we will wait for more betting options because the ML is not that great. Perhaps majority here are fans of Tank and can't wait to see Davis putting works against this clown and scoring a knock out win.
It's up to Romero on how he would back his words towards the Tank Davis who definitely have a much more experience in the ring and the technicalities in terms of knock out percentage, Romero may be outstanding on his class as he is much of a knockout specialist himself but I cannot help to see that Davis have really more KO percentage than him. He should back his words, otherwise, that doesn't make him different from other trash talkers who do not show aggressiveness in the ring. It's a marketing strategy, we know that for sure, but as a fan, I like to see a boxer who can also entertain the crown when fighting in the ring. I commend Coach Doc Rivers for making such a play. Embiid doesn't even have to be physical, all he needs to do is suck all the defense to him and it worked. Then, there's one play that I admired, a two-man play consisting of Green and Maxey.
I am glad I can see Danny Green moving again without the ball. Don't be stuck in one corner waiting for it, look for your own opening while messing up the Heat defense. I will bet for them in Game 4, no doubt. That's an effective strategy but I hope Danny Green or Maxey will have the same performance next game. They are on and off in the court. In other words, they can't maintain that kind of performance and that will result in a waste of using Embiid. Now that Heat is focused on defending Joel Embiid, it's time now for his teammates to do their role. I'm still waiting for the Playoffs James Harden to be released. He is known to always have a big production in every playoff but he is still not on his usual. It was only Maxey that is somewhat consistent to help Harden when Joel was out. Danny Green? not that much except for this game at their home court. I guess the savvy veteran in himself tells him to really get aggressive and shot the ball effectively. James Harden is also known for choking in playoffs, so still up to Embiid to carry the Sixers get passed the Heat but it will be not that easy. Embiid has to be on the court, this is his team, Harden was only hired as an addition so he could help the team to improve. Known for choking? maybe, but who knows, with a new pair of superstars, Harden might play well and bring the 76ers to the NBA Finals. I know it's still too early and 76ers are likely to lose the series, but like I said, who knows. |

And then Giannis is being check in this game, no easy shots for him and the usual double or triple team when he has the ball. We might see 1-1 tonight.
It happened, Celtics adjust so well in guarding Giannis while their shooting also adjust and contributions from Jaylen Brown help them up in dominating and winning this game, Giannis and the rest of the Bucks tried to rally back in the third, but Tatum and the whole cast of Boston are aware and not willing to allow that run, they push more in the last quarter to secure that big lead and win the game. Almost everyone have thought that the Bucks will close the game with a 2-0 lead in their series but the Celtics adjusted well and played impressively to catch up with their loss on the 1st game. They now know how to stop the Bucks especially Giannis inside the paint, if we looked into it closely, they are taking advantage of the status of the Bucks especially that they are now undermanned. But there's still room left to improve in the Bucks side, we will see on the 3rd game. I disagree though, the Celtics has been the favorite in the first 2 games so if there will be some scenario in the beginning, it will be Boston 2-0. Fortunately for the Bucks they won the first game and then Boston torching them up in game 2. I have Miami -7.5, I without Joel it will be the same outcome with another double digit win by the Heat. I'm not saying though that the Bucks is the favorite to win in this series but yes the Boston Celtics were the favorite to win before the series started but when the Bucks defeated them on the 1st game even if Middleton wasn't around, the air suddenly changed direction and there's a lot of fans as well as bettors that have thought that the Bucks will have a 2-0. |
