2001  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 🔥★★★[Yerevan] CryptoInvest ★★★ Cryptocurrency Exchange #1 in Armenia. 🔥 on: March 23, 2023, 09:34:16 AM
You should have chosen a better domain name. Everything that's said to be like "invest in crypto" doesn't sound really good in the ears of those that have been here for long. You know, it's because of the proliferation of those scam schemes that's attracted a lot of newbies to invest in crypto so, that's like the taboo that I'm thinking. Anyway, I don't understand most that's on your exchange since it's focused in your country which is Armenia.
I saw that you've posted on the dedicated thread for your local and it looks like we've got not that much of users from your country, still good luck.
2002  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 21, 2023, 10:36:45 PM
Yeah, a commoner like me would be feeling embarassed even if I'm not known online. It just so freaking depressing if I'm the one who has lost that amount because $1.4M is such a huge amount that's gonna make my life good for a long time or maybe a life time.
But I guess I'm still a dollar or a quarter richer than of those gamblers that have lost a lot and living with their paycheck to paycheck lives and has got a lot of debts and are now in the trap and don't know what to do. This is still a way better type of living rather than thinking of those mishaps that have been found and generated by their gambling addictions.
I can't imagine myself betting away such an amount I'm one bet, in fact, if I have that amount of money I will retire because, in my part of the world, 1.4 million dollars is quite a big amount.

-Ops may not feel it that way, since he seems to be a big bag holder and money is not the problem for him but I am sure this situation will affect his physical and mental health for some time before gets get over it.
I'd also do the same thing as what you're thinking with that money. A commoner like me that has $1M will make sure that he's set for life and that's gonna be for sure that I won't be feeling bad if ever I fail with other things as long as I've got that stash of money ready to be deployed in things for my retirement. Anyway, there are gamblers that are rich that we can't really imagine that they're already set and can lose a lot of money that we can never imagine and that's totally okay for them because they've got a lot of spare money to spend.
2003  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 20, 2023, 04:48:52 PM

If this gambler is truly rich and this is just like a $100 from his $1k bankroll then he'll remain positive. But for us, even we're just watchers of this story, we truly feel terrible for the lost that he has made. There's a connection for the emotion of the gambler and I'm sure that even if he's wealthy to lose this amount, he'll still feel that he should have done something better with that money. I don't think it's all about the thrill but yeah, there can be ahe point in our lives when we're thrilled to do something and since we're gamblers, we want to do the YOLO mentally and even if we know that it's not gonna be favorable for the result, we still push for it because of the thought that's being built on our minds and asking the question of what if.
No matter what the level of the gambler is, losing a high amount such as 1.4 million dollars is never a small amount and he will definitely feel it no matter what his bankroll is it is better to apply caution even though you rich.

-This case of the gambler is an acute stage of addiction and if care is not taken the gambler is already running into debt judging from his sense of game judgment and howselectst the oddsand mountainnstakese.

I don`t think that this situation is about emotions. The gambler decided that he find guaranteed income with minimal risks. But in gambling there are such situations.
PS. And now this gambler has lots of emotions of course, but i don`t think that they are positive.

Good luck everyone and congrats Rick for organizing this contest, the feedback is overwhelming and it's very successful.
2006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I keep money in the bank or buy bitcoins? on: March 15, 2023, 09:24:52 PM
In my opinion, if you buy some bitcoins instead of keeping money in the bank, you can benefit from the current market.
You're right. If you keep your money in the bank, it is the bank that you're allowing to freely use your money to lend it to its customers and from there you'll get a share and that share is truly a bit of amount from the big profit that they make from interests.

And besides, the bank can be robbed.
They can be robbed, hacked and receive freeze order from the government but AFAIK, most of the banks have insurance if something anything bad happens to them.

But if you keep buying bitcoins then bitcoins will not be lost at all.
Just as the banks can be robbed and hacked, owning bitcoin doesn't mean that you're exempted from that. If you're a user that don't give importance to your browsing activities, you may be hacked, your wallet and your bitcoins might be stolen and can even be a victim of a scam.

Even if the price drops a bit it will reach such a price and height that your capital will be doubled.  So I think it is better to buy bitcoins than bank.  Then he acts as he pleases.  This is my personal opinion.  thank you
I am with you on this, even it falls no matter how it will be. It can never avoid recovering and even more than doubling the price that it has got right now.
2007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A costly gambling mistake on: March 13, 2023, 08:09:21 PM
What's a wrong approach by most is that, they register, deposit and gamble. That's the usual step that we do when we're entering an online casino. We don't read much about the terms and when we encounter such problems, that's the time that we're looking back at their FAQ and rules to clarify the problem that we're dealing. It's a wrong approach and that's why it's a mistake that everybody does, who do really read a lot of terms and conditions with such paragraphs that includes rule? I bet that if there's any, they really are rare or very few gamblers because most contents of it are just the same from the other casinos and would ended up with the same conclusion that, they have the right to to change any terms they've made without prior notice.
2008  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: --WARNING--BlaBla Game (BLA) is a scam ICO! on: March 12, 2023, 09:17:53 PM
Two things that I've come to notice too quick:

1. The name Blabla. LOL, the name of this project didn't even got a good name by thinking of its name, the developers don't have to think a lot and don't have time for it as it seems there's the inner intention that they're about to do from its investors. Such a gibberish name.

2. I just want to reiterate what has been said about ICO. It's true that ICOs are long dead gone and that's why if there are projects that still find their luck through it and don't even have a legitimate project to begin with, you've got already the red flags. Before when it was too popular, their target were millions but now, on this project it's just $50k and they're half way on it if it's true.

Coming next bull run, you can be sure that owners of these shitcoin projects will come up with some new way to attract investors, but under it it will be the very same ICO crap that we have been seeing for years.
I agree. Next year, we'll probably see more of the same tactics that will produce tons of shitcoins in preparation for the next bull run.
2009  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I Add This To My Business Grant Application? on: March 10, 2023, 09:24:42 PM
I don't understand why you need to take a loan in order for you to accept and adopt payments in bitcoin. You can just simply accept it without any grant of loan needed because there's no capital needed for you to accept such payments.
If your purpose is to boost your business, that's totally okay but to say that you want to take a loan and then adding you want to add bitcoin as payment as a reason for your grant, there's a likelihood that you will get declined. Just solely focus on the reason of boosting your business and add bitcoin anytime you want as a payment method.
2010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will accepting cryptocurrency as a payment be profitable for business? on: March 09, 2023, 10:05:18 AM
Cryptocurrency payment getaways have the lowest transaction fees so that the business owners gets more profit from it.
Actually, receiving payments from digital wallets and typical payment processors that they've been using don't even require a fee. But on their end, when the time of audit has come, AFAIK there goes the fee that they're obliged to fill based on the agreement from those payment processors that they use.

accepting cryptocurrency as a method of payment opens you to more customers internationally. it will helped your business to increase profitability and revenue growth.
It's giving customers more choice for payments that they should use. At the same time, it's giving the good vibes for the customers that there is this business that do accept bitcoin and is helping the crypto economy through their acceptance of it so, in return, they'll support it and would like to pay their invoices through bitcoin or any other accepted crypto.
2011  Economy / Economics / Re: Would You Consider Adding Bitcoin to Your Retirement Savings on: March 02, 2023, 11:13:44 PM
No, because that won't make us enjoy in old age, it will actually make old age on worried anytime. We all know that bitcoin and all crypto has a fluctuating value and it is impossible for us to keep it in old age.
We can keep it even it ages in time and that's what I'm doing.

For Retirement Savings, simply by using the savings that have been collected from youth, that already makes us enjoy with a cup of coffee in the morning.
We don't live only for one morning at a time. Joking aside, yeah that's what retirement savings is for. We have to prepare for our future so that every morning we've got some meals to eat. There are a lot of oldies that haven't planned their retirement and it's due to the circumstances that they've faced when they're younger. It's like having no financial education at all on the early days while us, we're lucky to have such discussions wherein we can think of what we must do in the future in preparation of our tiring days.
2012  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Binance the next to bite the dust or FUD? on: February 28, 2023, 07:34:10 PM
A friend of mine in the US told me to be careful with Binance just this day. As that what he sees on the news and what a coincidence when this thread has been made.
I'll oblige and would take out the little fund that I've got there. It won't be surprising even Binance bites into dust as that's mostly will really happen to these centralized exchanges unless they're serious and real with their business. Even if they're quite big already, that doesn't make them exempted to any potential fall on their business.
2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bold step to invest my fiat in Bitcoin on: February 27, 2023, 09:34:08 PM
You just did the right thing. Everyone starts small and depending on your capacity and the important thing is you've made it there. This will urge you to have some more while doing some calculations on how much you'll gain if ever you've got an $xx amount on your stash.
But as you start, you need to realize the volatile that you'll also experience. At first, it's like too heavy in your feeling when you see the market goes on low but sooner and later, you'll just endure all of it and will not feeling anything when you see the valuation of portfolio sways up and down.

2015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to accept crypto as a payment? on: February 24, 2023, 09:45:07 PM
I've got some little business and if a random customer of mine asks me to pay in bitcoin, I'd be more than happy to accept it. But most of my transactions are cash and a few from digital.
I'm not too hyperactive in discussing it with my customers since majority of them come and go and even I've got long term and repetitive customers from my rental business, no one has said anything to me that they're interested in paying in bitcoin. Maybe because I'm not telling it to them or it just so happen that they're not aware of it and still didn't hear anything about bitcoin.
2016  Economy / Gambling / Re: Warning: ZKasino - Possible wallet phishing scam on: February 23, 2023, 08:57:48 PM
Thanks for ups!
Whenever I see websites that wants me to connect my wallet onto them, I'm completely closing my window there and never visits again.
These scammers would do everything what it takes to scam and rob people's money, so don't oblige on their technique of stealing everyone that would be gullible to their schemes.
I wouldn't even waste my time on trying it out with a wallet of mine that contains nothing, they're worth it just to be ignored by us since they've been caught as a potential phishing site.
2017  Economy / Economics / Re: The Rise of GPT AI. Crypto is at risk? on: February 21, 2023, 08:57:28 AM
Yeah, it can develop bots but there's still a certain logic thinking needed for the codes that these AIs will produce. You just can't put that in the compiler and expect to it that it will run 100%.

Based on that statement alone, we can conclude that there will be potential risks such as trading bots that could manipulate the market which could lead to significant losses.
What's scarier are not the bots or the AIs but the people, real men that are around in the market that have been said to be whales. They have nothing to do with bots but they've got money to manipulate the market and if you're too worried with AIs, you should worry more about them if you don't know how they move and influence the market because they really do.
2018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The History of Bingo on: February 20, 2023, 02:57:10 PM
Honestly, when I was still young I know this game but until now I still don't know how exactly the mechanics on how to hit BINGO!
I only know what the patterns are if there's a note in front of me on how I'll know if I already hit the bingo.
But without such guide and pattern, I really don't know if I'm already in or still haven't got it.
2019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Bitcoin Holdings for your child from infant. on: February 17, 2023, 08:27:45 PM
This is definitely an option. A big bag of Bitcoin is a good start for life.

I don't have kids yet, but I'm already saving some Bitcoin for them. I know they will be grateful in the future.
Surely, they'll be grateful when they find out that their parents is able to save them money in the future. They don't have to do anything but at the same time, we still need to teach them how to value money that's saved for them. Kids these days are different than of before, and it depends on how the parents raised them. I also got my savings in bitcoin for the future of my children but I won't let them know that I've got something for them that's stored for their future. I won't make it easy for them to take it but at least, there's an assurance that there's an investment ready for them to be taken.
2020  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for paying online casinos for refer on: February 16, 2023, 11:04:57 PM
Well, I don't think it's bad because the more audience a casino has on social networks, the more famous it is and that's good publicity, they do signature campaigns on the forum, but if you can get customers through social networks it's better Instagram is an excellent option but when it is paid advertising, but if a lot of people promote them it is a very good idea because it gives a good impact, because each person who has their friends will want to enter, that happens if the followers are real and not fake , when a casinoi invests a lot in publicity they do well.
If it's about the social medias, all of them should be outsourced for potential customers. With all of those videos stuff that they produce, you can easily use and take advantage of their algorithm.
Not just in instagram but almost everything like Tiktok, YouTube and Facebook. They're not really too strict with those marketing videos that contains casinos and invitations. Even my friends are working with some new casinos that they've been tasked to get and attract more customers through affiliate/referral.
