I am sure Everton was the nightmare for bettors yesterday.
It sure did and I was one of them. I went to sleep after half time and I was confident the result will be a draw or an Everton win. I lost my parlay (Everton DNB and Man U win).

I was planning to have another parlay in Spurs and Real Madrid but I'm already late to the party. I went for Arsenal and RM instead. I don't bet on Arsenal games anymore but it seems they're back to winning ways. Let's see.
2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 31, 2020, 01:32:43 PM
At first I was laughing at myself for changing my bets on Real Madrid and Liverpool to DNB even though the odds were very low to anyone's standards. I laughed even harder when I found out about the results as it turns out it was the right call. Gut feel works sometimes Grin

Thanks to Atletico Madrid for holding on to their narrow lead.

Granada vs. Valencia, what a feisty game this has turned out to be. I was about to place abet for Granada to win the match after Valnecia got a second red card only for Duarte to be sent out minutes later  Grin I'm just gonna watch how the match ends. I already had Granada at DNB and I don't know if they can get another goal with few minutes remaining + injury time.

I just came across this tweet that Binance said yes to Taproot.

I'd suggest to put your investment on top alts right now and trade them since they are the one who's profitable except for XRP.
This is what I would have said too.

Any of the top alts except XRP and in case anyone wonders why, read this topic by @tk808 - XRP - The 2nd Biggest Scam in Digital Currency History

Liverpool better get a second goal before WestBrom hit them with an unlikely late equalizer. It's hard to believe they haven't gotten another goal yet with 80% ball possession.
Second half doesn't look good for Liverpool, they have only possession but not a single shot on goal. WBA actually looks much more dangerous and they had one great chance already. This could end bad for Liverpool easy, they just can't make a good opportunity in second half. Still leading 1:0 so that is something with only 10 minutes to go.
Now 7 minutes to go and match is draw 1 - 1 very good goal by Ajayi.
As I was saying lol. This game will hunt them later on. More games like this and they can kiss their lead goodbye.

It's also goodbye time for my parlay  Angry

Missed out on the scavenger hunt as I forget to set my alarm Grin I saw an earlier announcement that it was paused and will resume at a later date? What's the update on that?

Enjoyed a lot the hunting yesterday, I could claim 20 vouchers and cashout 10.000 bux  Grin
I envy you. Well done though.

edit: I just saw #thesuspect's announcement that the raffle will be delayed but the ticket earning continues until tomorrow at 14:00 GMT. It's a wise choice after what happened during the hunt.

2032  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Nababahala ba kayo sa Ripple? on: December 27, 2020, 05:48:42 PM
Meron pa din nagmamaliit sa paghahabla ng SEC sa Ripple. Kesyo sa US lang daw yun at marami daw "partners". Ignore the noise sabi nila hehe.

2034  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Biglaang pag angat ng XRP on: December 23, 2020, 06:37:10 PM

Both teams current form saying surely this match is going to be high scoring because both teams have some very exciting and attacking players they can bring some good moves and goals in this match Everton odds @3.0 are very juicy and they can win this match.
They might be in good form but it still depends on how they will approach this game. Both teams know their opponent is capable of scoring which can make them cautious and would focus more on their defense. We can take a look at how many previous big games ended up in the past (Man U vs. Man City for example).
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs and Altcoins investment strategy advice for a newbie on: December 23, 2020, 06:13:53 PM
1. best reads or videos (books, blogs, websites, YouTube channels etc.) on how to invest in crypto
2. best forums (other than this one which seems great) and meet ups for crypto investors (I know Telegram but are there other more specific chats?)
3. newsletters and news on new upcoming ICOs and crypto projects in general (I use coin desk but what else is out there of reliable?)
1. I'd rather have you read the whitepaper of each project you want to invest to than to point you to blogs and youtube channels that will shill you a project they have already invested in. You probably know the basics like team transparency and legitimacy, original whitepaper (not plagiarized), coin or token utility or use case, etc.

2. Honestly, you don't need others unless you want to discuss a more specific topic about a coin like ethereum for example (they have their own forum). This is the most open platform with the most diverse members and they will call out any BS of any project. I've joined facebook groups and I can tell you now that you will learn more if you stick here. There are plenty of traders today who doesn't even know how the coin or token works. Heck, they don't even understand confirmation time and most likely don't know the difference between a coin and a token.

3. "ICOs" is old school. I don't know of any new project using that term anymore. If you insist on looking for start ups, crypto twitter is where you can find all sorts of token sales but be very careful as many of them are just money grabs.
2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 23, 2020, 05:50:02 PM
^ Checked the odds for Stoke vs. Tottenham and thought Spurs at 1.35 was a bit low lol. Tottenham and BTTS at 4.7 is tempting but I doubt the capability of Stoke to get one. Can't decide yet but I'm hoping Stoke could score first in the first half and make it more interesting (betting wise).

edit: Spurs just scored  Grin the opposite of what I wanted to happen

Everton - Man U could be a draw or low scoring.
2039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 23, 2020, 04:22:13 PM
Leicester and United game is not easy to play at all, that is one of the hardest games we have in the week.
It's never easy to predict matches between two contender teams but this is where research on injuries/covid is vital as the result could depend on one key player missing out. You can also skip prematch betting if you can't decide yet and bet live instead. You can see how each team performs then bet accordingly.
2040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 23, 2020, 04:10:58 PM
This should be a fun year for the NBA.  Once again there are no absolute "super powers" in the league where it's already a forgone conclusion on who is going to win the championship before it even gets started.
There are still favorite/s though and it's quite easy to see who they are.

I was impressed at how well the Brooklyn Nets played last night.  They certainly look like a force to recon with.  Makes me wonder who will be the top dog in the East between Giannis and Kevin Durant.
Nets are set for a playoff run.

If we're to assume that none of them will not suffer a season ending injury, I am with Kevin Durant all day. To me. there's a huge difference in mindset between the two. One who has won it all would feel less pressure and more confident than someone who hasn't even reached the NBA Finals.
