I started reading this and thought oh here's another stupid attempt at pumping a coin, and then I kind of agreed and went to Cryptsy and sold all my Darkcoin and bought Anoncoin.

And another suspiciously spelling member wrong twice with a newbie post. Quickly do something Skillroad before the reputation of the coin is damaged. Up to now most stakeholders have many posts and look legit.

This guy is hilarious, he managed to spell Member wrong on both newbie posts that are obviously both his.

@Skillroad. Obviously it's up to you. But we are starting to see investors with one post. These are almost definitely sock puppet accounts. Personally I would have a date limit, only accounts that were open at the starting date of the IPO. Even fixing the date at say April 1st would drastically limit those who want to make tons of stakes. With such a small fee to get a stake there is a lot of motivation for people to make literally 10's or even 100's of stakes.

I'm not bothered by a few sock puppet accounts but if you go for a large amount of stakeholders, those with many stakes will give a bad rep to a coin. Something worth avoiding and easy to do if done now and not later like NEM is trying to do.

People act like they are innocent children who are tricked by evil scammers. You face people trying to take advantage of you on a daily basis, you got to develop some savvy and that is a learning process that includes being scammed at some point. I got scammed on Ebay once for quite a bit, but it taught me not wire money and it taught me how to look for the signs of a scam. I think Escrow is just another bit of evidence that a coin is not a scam but Numus had Anon1 doing escrow and that's a scam, so it's not perfect. In many ways it provides legitimacy when it's undeserved, but sure you are safe using it, but many don't. Bit we do have lots of info to make a calculated bet on an IPO.


People have great abilities to learn from mistakes, just let them make them and if the learning is painful then the more they will remember it. No one is betting the farm on these IPOs and if they are they need to learn that's stupid too.

I've done a ton of IPOs I can honestly say I've lost a LOT more money on buying bad coins that dropped in value than IPO investing.

I lost money on this IPO, I say let them go ahead and let people make up their own mind by thinking for themselves. So you lose on one IPO and win on another, no one said you had to invest. If you only had cast iron IPO's then it would be a very safe and bland Crypto world. This is the early Wild West stage, enjoy it while it lasts.

No offence but can you prove what you are saying? This could easily be the developer supporting the coin with claims not based on truth. I personally have invested but I want more than rumors and half truths.

NAS has no improvements or different vision for NAS to NXT. Why in Gods green earth would anyone use a lesser product out of choice. The point of investing and speculating is the idea that at some point at a later date something will become more valuable due to its uptake by the public.


Let me tell you the future people. No one will use NAS when there is NXt or even Clones that improve in NXT's functions around.

Can I suggest you have some kind of limit to accounts, as the price is low to buy in so expect a lot of sockpuppet accounts from now on. Either increase the buy in amount or have a hard limit either in time cut of off or numbers of investors. I'm not being envious I'm just expecting a lot of sock puppets at this point now there is reality of getting coins.

and save it in notepad on your computer or print it out etc.

Later you can move coins from your account to another easily if the password is weak, but don't make it weak in the first place.

Yeah but many brainwallets have a user name like Ripple. My concern is not that we don't have a user name but that the page for the testnet has a space it seems for one.

Ok this is frustrating asking the same question. Do we need a name in the green box to make our NXTL account number? It seems it generates from simply a password which can't be secure surely and also once you make a full wallet then if you have to access the account with a user name then our account numbers will be obsolete. Do we really only have a password account? So easy to force hack..

Ok here is what I'm confused about. On the above wallet registering what do I put in the green top box?

Can I make my own name?

Plus I didn't even enter a name in the green box but it still made an account? Why?

Can we use any name for our account?
