2021  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My perceived unconscious benefit of bitcointalk. on: February 15, 2023, 11:09:23 PM
This forum is the best if you want to learn different things in life and not just about bitcoin, crypto, finance, politics, economics, etc. You name them all and you might find everything in here. It's all complete package and what I've learned a lot is about finance (bitcoin, alts, economics).
That's why if we're not happy with this community, you're not seeing the light and the help that it's giving for free. Most resources can be found in the web but bitcointalk is something else and to mind you, satoshi was here, founded it and once has been active in here. You will feel that proud moment.
2022  Other / Meta / Re: What's AI Written Post? on: February 14, 2023, 11:16:09 PM
It's caught into attention when chatpgt and any other AI software really are doing things for writing easily. Those that have thought that they can do their jobs easily will use it for their own productivity. But, it's not all about what they can be productive with but we're for the genuineness of what people can contribute with it. It depends on how they use it, if it's for educational purpose or it's just plain and simple to shortcut their tasks. To sum all of it, not everything that AI says will be actually what we want for its answer and logically the one that we need. Sometimes just like us humans, there's some redundancy and inaccuracy. As I've said, the authencity of the discussion from person to person can easily be found if it's still a human has replied or an AI.
2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 13, 2023, 05:18:29 PM
It's already time for Melo to leave this team and it's already stopped. I don't have a problem with Melo either, he was a very high level player in his old days, now he can't contribute even if he wanted to, I think he should leave the team. A little change will be useful for the Lakers, Lebron James's time is running out, he can no longer find the same rhythm in every game, even if he finds it, he will not find it in the future.
If he still got the contract with the Lakers, there's no way for him to leave and violate the contract. The team has all the means to whether use him or not with every game that they have. It's just sad that when a player like him that has been one of the superstars before, doesn't get a playing time anymore and when the contract expires then possible that there will be no renewal for him anymore. He can be part of the coaching staff and just like the other veteran NBA players got, still they're able to work with their passion and sport that they love.

2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have life span? on: February 09, 2023, 10:38:31 PM
Bitcoin is digital currency and it have influence over the nations which many people have queue up for it's technology, my major challenges I'm having and i do meditate seriously and have more concerned over it, is that Bitcoin does it have life span to be varnish or not be recognize again when time comes? Or Bitcoin is going to be a continuous process of digital currency. Referring Gold as a digital currency and others digital currencies that has being into existence before arrival of Bitcoin, their no longer existing and now Bitcoin has taken ground of other digital currencies. Will the technology of bitcoin continue in future time.
We can be confident as of this time that bitcoin is nowhere to go but here to stay. But just as other technologies, they're nonstoply upgrading and we'll see some other emerging technologies that might introduce another the same thing as bitcoin.
But as we know, we don't want to get into it too quick even if it's going to be backed up by a company which is most likely that will be the next thing that will be introduced in the market.
With bitcoin, we've got confidence and this is decentralized for which no company can ever introduce.
2026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 07, 2023, 10:59:55 PM
Honestly, Dallas was leading all of fourth quarter, they got an easy win. The real issue starts for them now, with Doncic and Kyrie playing together and everyone is saying the same thing; usage rate. Kyrie is a ball dominant guard, and Doncic is a ball dominant superstar as well, put them two at the same time on the floor and there will be at least one of them unhappy, maybe both of them.

If you give the ball too much to Doncic, Irving will be unhappy about it, and if you give it to Kyrie then Doncic will be unhappy, if you share between them then both won't get much and be unhappy together. Which is why this is going to suck for them for a long time, and bet they won't renew contracts with Kyrie this summer.
They just need more practice on them so they'll build the relationship and chemistry inside the ring. Both of them will end up with the same goal and that's win a ring.
In that case, they have to win each game that they'll face and they'll both need to adjust to the likes favorable to the team and not just on their own habits and desires while playing inside an actual game.
2027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoiners are not friendly physical? on: February 06, 2023, 11:16:53 PM
They're not ashamed, it's possible that they just want to protect themselves personally because of the incidents that has happened before like with a $5 wrench attack.
It's like these incidents[1] that has been seen only for 2022.

[1] The 8 Worst Bitcoin ‘$5 Wrench Attacks’ of 2022

If you show yourself rich and have a lot of money, you will also be attacked as usual, not only bitcoin. There are many reasons why they do not want to make their bitcoin investments and holdings public. In my case, since bitcoins in my country are not legal yet, public use of bitcoins will be noticed by the government and possibly fined. So investors in my country don't want to meet publicly to talk about bitcoin, we don't want others to know because it's not legal yet.
Yeah, like the usual reaction that other people might be seen on them then they're just trying to remain lowkey. Those reasons that makes them stay in the shadows could be the real thing.
No one wants to get harmed just because they've been known an investor in bitcoin and has been too vocal with it. That's why, we can't blame anyone and including ourselves if there are get together like that and we're not showing publicly because of those harms that has been done to the others and, we don't want that to happen to us.
2028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoiners are not friendly physical? on: February 05, 2023, 10:42:12 PM
I was very happy  to joined bitcointalk. org November 7 2020, but I came to discovered one thing in the community that is making me wondering, if bitcoiners don't trust themselves by seeing themselves face to face like the way church members or Muslim members love themselves by seeing themselves face to face after the service. Going to three years now, am trying to see some of the bitcoiners in my area to discuss with them how to join hands together to promote Bitcoin in the society but they said they prefer discussing it online than see each other physical.
Are they ashame to be a bitcoiners? or they are among the people that think Bitcoin is a scam?
Why Bitcoin users are afraid of see each other physical?

OG is out.
Congratulations to Entity and Tundra for having the last two slots for the WEU region and they're now going to Lima. Smiley
It was a fun tie breaker and we thought of it as an infinite loop sequence that might take a few more days but then, Tundra just proved that they deserve the slot and if you guys have followed Sneyking on his Twitter account, he's such a funny guy.
.

Too bad I missed the Tie breaker games; it must have been fun to watch. Congrats to Tundra and Entity. OG is still a hit and miss lately. I am surprised they were able to take the tiebreaker to the 3rd round.

We have no quality DOTA to watch until the major. Fortunately, there is plenty of CS:GO to watch.
Yeah, truly fun to watch and it had never happened before when it's like this. Although there were some tie breakers before that have been almost like this but IIRC, that was just of a short thing. We'll miss a lot of good teams for this Lima major but that's it.
It's not always that the strongest teams are part of it and they have to take that loss as a motivation so that they'll do better for the next major. Time is going to fly so fast and they all have to take care of each DPC tournament for the points system.

Why is it that I'm feeling like some problem might occur with this one and it's like people will be sent to the job that they're not expecting. And, much worse will be exploited.
It will create more problem like illegal immigration and undocumented immigrant for which they might be just sent back to their originated country.
I think that this is human trafficking.
2032  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has an exchange ever blocked your Bitcoins from Signature earnings? on: January 29, 2023, 10:13:23 PM
A local exchange did, back in 2017 because I didn't want to give them a paper trail of my finances. Unfortunately, I still have 0.2 something bitcoins in that exchange but I no longer want to deal with the stress that comes with fixing my account. They closed the account because they thought that the funds were coming in from a gambling platform (which it doesn't), and back then the country is really tight against offshore gambling platforms due to the issue of widespread fraud and money laundering. Until now, the balance is in the said account as I can still open it, although there is a notice that states that I cannot use it in any way unless I submit my financial records supporting my claim that I have the financial capability to buy and sell that amount of bitcoins in that account.

Kinda sucks really. Since then I started using Binance in late 2017 and never really had problems at all.
OMG.
That's a huge amount these days and I think even on 2017, 0.2 was already that big. Didn't you managed to file something with a help of an attorney for you to take out and withdraw that remaining balance of yours?
I know it's really exhausting when they're asking for something that you can't provide them but it's your balance that you've deposited to them and that's the ownership that you can provide to them and if they don't want you to proceed with the process, they should have just return it to you. These exchanges really sucks.
2033  Economy / Economics / Re: Track every rich person take on: January 27, 2023, 09:26:43 PM
Magnetize it: successful human beings makes utilization of the law of Magnetization to be remarkable which overall performance you prefer to have a very pellucid and smooth Vision of your requisite.
AFAIK, they also call it as law of attraction and it seems becoming a trend for the kids of today's generation. But it's like attracting what you want to happen to yourself and so it will happen. I do agree that there's like the positivity outfit that we have in our minds and we just have to deliver and execute it and the results will be it depending on what our faith is. And that's what you want to attract, you need to magnetize the good things and good situations that you want to be in and the universe will reciprocate to what you like, how you think and will give it you.
2034  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: January 26, 2023, 07:25:33 PM
Currently I still rely on salary jobs because I am still about 4 years old graduating from school,
I also prefer salary jobs. I've been working for more than a decade and I find it more easy to work with salary jobs if my target is a fixed salary. But if I want to work easy and be performance based, then commission jobs are like that. You own your time and you deliver results based on the work you're in with these commission basis.

many offers to be able to get a job commission and if we compare it with salary jobs, of course, the Job Commission is greater, I have friends who work as marketing property and rely on the job commission and him Can earning around 2 to 4 times the salary I received.
It's because salary or profit in a commission basis job is unlimited. You earn unlimited income there based on your output and there are people who are choose to be on it and knows how to grind with their chosen field.
2035  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: January 25, 2023, 10:15:54 PM
1. Will Bitcoin ever fall to zero someday?
Then, we'll go back to our normal lives where we don't have an asset that we can pull up anytime we need some cash and sell for it. But honestly, we do get this type of question repetitively and people should accept the fact that bitcoin will not become zero someday at least in our era, it's highly unlikely that it will be zero.

2. What happens if it ever falls to zero?
We'll for sure going to hit our heads hard specially those people like me that have heavily invested on it. But thinking of my loss, how much more those financial institutions that has got hundreds of millions on it.
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK fines online casino for only asking KYC from winning gamblers on: January 24, 2023, 10:45:58 AM
There can be some authorities that will pass that law that will be receiving some good incentive from those casinos that will be badly hit by that law if it's about to get passed.
And you know, they just want to have the favor so that they'll not experience any problem as they operate. This is common in my country but I don't know in UK if they're too strict on that and they'll go along with the cause on the victim's side.
They just have to ratify it if they really are for the people so that these casinos that do always make excuses or create reasons to delay someone's winning for withdrawal.
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023? on: January 23, 2023, 03:12:47 PM
I guess there's nothing wiser than just accumulating, even though most of us aren't really sure that 2023 there gonna be changes towards the current trend but I think accumulation always wins at the end just like holding always benefits long term holders. even right now stake programs didn't really seems interesting mainly the interest generated will just get eaten up with the inflation even if there's small decrease in value.
Get as much crypto as we can but mostly with bitcoin. That's the energy that we should be having for this year because we're all optimistic not just for this year.
But also for the upcoming year which is the bitcoin halving will occur. It's going to fulfill a lot of bags before it happens and everyone is taking that into consideration that when it happens, bull run will come.
2038  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: January 22, 2023, 08:06:13 PM
I agree, for those people that are already in retirement age and they're too old to work then they can't put that into that much risk and just go with the conversative deposits and investments just like putting it on the bank.
If the person is too old and understands bitcoin then that's a plus to that person but if not, it's better to just be conversative and sensitive with that money and save a lot but invest a little that's not too hurting if it losses.

The last statement will work, for those who can adopt the market and have that chance to learn more about Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency investing is a good opportunity to grow that money.

But, if you don't have that time then go with conserving that money and try to do some little
investment while the major portion of your save money can be stored in the bank for emergency
needs.
Definitely.
It's because not everyone has the ability to take the same risk just as we and that's why they should think of a more conversative investment that will at the same time protect their money and have a little to earn with.
This is applicable for most old people that has got money thus, if they don't want too, then they should just keep their wealth if they think it's enough to cover a lifetime.

2040  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: January 18, 2023, 10:29:51 PM
The $100,000 is already in my account, since the money has been deposited how much interest rate has been given? If the question is meant for oldling days people then they can keep the money in the bank account and getting the 3% interest rate but if it is for this new technological digital economics generation, I don't think they would keep that amount in the bank the matter what.

Since the money is for reserve, it is better you keep in bitcoin wallet for a long time. Just use it to buy BTC and keep it there instead of keeping it in the Fiat banks that they would even deduct it every week and monthly.
