yes the numbers are correct check btc38 and volume on worldcoinindex
that doesn't mean that the volume is 100% natural and there aren't bots driving up the hype. I would stay away from it , smells fishy |

Reviving old coins is a great idea and it's good to see someone organizing it. Most of them are already on exchanges, which is a hurdle all new coins have to get past.
Why did the coins die? Lack of a community , merchants , developers... Why bring a coin that wasn't able to attract those back to life and not invest your energy in a new coin with more features at more attractive Just so people can sell it at 2 litoshi instead of 1 litoshi? |

Shame to see the dev of Monacoin has not been active for over a month. I was getting pretty irritated by all these great coins that lost the support of the developer, so I'm trying to start an independent foundation, the Coin Revival Foundation (CFA), that revives these coins and keeps advancing them. My aim is to give altcoins back to the community and away from speculative whales! So, I have been mining ExileCoin for about a month now and if I'm not mistaken this is supposed to have PoS and my wallet has yet to generate any stake despite my coins never leaving my wallet... Am I doing something wrong here...?

I was under the impression that Israeli businesses signed up to sell their products in ISR. Altho i cannot find a place to spend my ISR other than a couple of exchanges.
There are buyers, but no particular level of support has appeared. For example .. UNO which is terrible to mine has a pretty solid exchange rate over its history. ISR has steadily been falling which is much different.
Intrinsically the value of a coin should be slightly more than the power it costs to mine the coin, with the price falling so steadily its hard to see this. People who mine the coin are in it for the profit. Why else would they be operating the transaction network for a coin.
Once businesses (if they ever do) in Israel start accepting ISR for purchases the price will go up and will stabilize.
Seems to me that it would of been smarter to find a large Israeli retailer to sign on to ISR before making the coin public.
It would be nice if Bittrex had a 24 hour history of market transactions and market volume for each currency.
When i started operating my pool ISR has a network hashrate of 1.21 GH/s right now it has a network hashrate 0.48 GH/s. When i started mining ISR the value was .00017 now its .000035.
It would of been smarter to make ISR a private currency, that is sold and purchased at a fixed price (plus or minus a few percent). Then the value would be stable and it would be easier to get business to adopt it. The money collected from selling the coin would be available to purchase the coin back. They could of kept all this info public allowing the users of the currency to have trust in it.
Again I will keep mining this coin for another week and a half. I think the developers are trying to make something different, but i don't want to be the last one mining it.

The exchanges are part of the problem, really.
The fact is they're accepting bribes to list coins instead of listing coins on the basis of value or utility.
Which means they've made their money regardless of what happens to the coin. They'll keep it on the board until it looks like the devs don't have the wherewithal to bribe them again, then they'll take it down.
The fact that they accept just any random coin is a problem too. The coin usually just gets dumped and a new one made. This has been going on for months now. The exchanges care only about the money , they won't stop accepting coins just to create a better future with empty pockets |
