I just read that article on the miserable happycoin,,,,,lol, this is truly amazing, but I will give the dev credit for at least actually launching a coin twice in 24 hours, and aside from all the missteps, the coin did mine very nicely and the wallet actually functioned right out of the gate and the pools hosting happy were really rocking at times, with that said, ya never know this dev may end up having the last laugh  yes exactly $$$ Its these kinds of episodes in mining that keeps it interesting and keeps us on our toes. and we all love chasing a new coin even though it can be a bust sometimes, win some lose some ..... otherwise it would get boring I guess lol. Try explaining something like this, happycoin, to someone who has never mined a coin before..... lol only we can appreciate it, I'm still amazed at this launch in some weird way  |

I just had to check back into this thread lol,,,, this is amazing,,,, so what becomes of the coins we have mined from yesterday? not that anyone wants them now.... got to hand it to the dev tho, he is hanging in there like nothing has happened and all should go forward again... a real trooper not giving up on his coin lol

Just when I thought I had seen and heard it all! Should have just let the coin go on mining and created another coin and remembered to do his pre mine next time....I wont be back for a 2nd launch.
Does this mean the coins we mined are dead?

As time goes on I will be looking to mine only in pools that have digishield installed or maybe one day they all will. Get back to a fair playing field. I'm just glad to see others share my concern with multipools taking over, its sorta like centralized mining..... which no one wants!

Does anyone else have concerns about multipools taking over the hash rate when they join a pool? I think it ought to be banned lol,,, actually there is a software that some pools are using now to raise the difficulty level for multopools when they join, Ill think of that software and who is using it in their pools.... I mean hell, forget about massive asics joining a pool, now we have to worry about multipools joining even with x11 coins... sux,,, yes I DON"T LIKE MULTIPOOLS,,,,, the only ones making money are the pool owners and the miners that join are getting ripped off....
I agree, Multi pool reduces the revenue twice here is an example: this is from hashhot.com stats just now tytanick 2,968,113 - 674,716.541 - 7,698,522.4800 this is bullshit,,, up goes the difficulty .....it has to devalue coins in general..... |

I tested a couple of multipools out just to see end results, I was earning about .06 btc per day on my own and with multipool payouts it was cut in half, down to avg payout of like .028 etc...people wake up and get away from multipools, now where do we suppose that missing .032 btc went??? yep the multipool owners are buying new cars, eating lavishly and having a gay ol time with your BTC!

Yes I'm getting a little tired of joining a new coin pool launch,,, cruzing along, then in comes a multipool with 500,000 k/h and really takes the fun and profit out of the whole thing. Scrypt ASICS doing X11? Whatever next? Looks like ill be retiring my mining rig to a 3 monitor Battlefield 4 Gaming Rig sooner rather than later (Sniffs.... then smiles ) not sure about that but pool owners need to resist multipools from coming in freakn getting ridiculus |
