“A 40 year old male asylum seeker from Syria have been sentenced to nine months in prison after he was convicted of an attempted rape of an 8-year-old girl in December 2014. The then 39-year-old man suddenly stood in the girl’s room in the middle of the night. The girl screamed in horror, and it woke her parents who came to her rescue. After a fight between the offender and the girl’s father, the now 40-year-old asylum seeker was arrested by the police.” Does anyone have a clue why Merkel want's all of these people in EU? What does she hope to achieve?

Bitcoin is also the first real WORLDWIDE currency. The previous currencies covered more limited areas...
This is not true. The dollar has been a worldwide currency for decades as many countries will only accept dollars and many others will accept it in addition to their local currency, while others will accept it but only unofficially. The same was true with the British pound prior to the fall of the British Empire. The same is not true for bitcoin as of now, although this may (at least in theory) change in the future We are headed towards a worldwide currency, but I doubt it will be Bitcoin. There are many worldwide currencies. Why would there be only one and why do you doubt it will be bitcoin?

To consolidate at 1000 USD in 2015 would be huge progress when you look at the current price
The current price is not an indicator for the future. Bitcoin price has moved up and down fast in the past. 2015 is a very short time, I predict it's more likely to hit 10000 USD in 2016 or 2017. Do you think the price will go beyond 10.000 USD? If chinas bank accepts bitcoin again, we`ll have something.
This is a matter of a waiting battle.
If China accepts bitcoin again we will go to Moon. It would cause panic buying.

Notice how in multicultural boards based on foreign languages, there is no strict policy. For example, there can be English posts in the Romanian section. However, there can't be Romanian posts in these sections. This is blatant bigotry.
Most of us Americans do not speak Romanian. I guess most of the Romanians do speak English. Perhaps this is the reason?

I don't think there is anything you can do, just forget about it and move on...
There is so many scam on daily basis, this is because of unregulated market. If we have regulated market then scam will be very less. In a regulated market there is no free economy and enormous scams. There are altcoins which are printed out of thin air with 0% mining difficulty. How did midascoin scam you? Does the midas wallet cointain spyware?

TALKING to yourself used to be a strictly private pastime. That's no longer the case – researchers have eavesdropped on our internal monologue for the first time. The achievement is a step towards helping people who cannot physically speak communicate with the outside world. "If you're reading text in a newspaper or a book, you hear a voice in your own head," says Brian Pasley at the University of California, Berkeley. "We're trying to decode the brain activity related to that voice to create a medical prosthesis that can allow someone who is paralysed or locked in to speak." When you hear someone speak, sound waves activate sensory neurons in your inner ear. These neurons pass information to areas of the brain where different aspects of the sound are extracted and interpreted as words. In a previous study, Pasley and his colleagues recorded brain activity in people who already had electrodes implanted in their brain to treat epilepsy, while they listened to speech. The team found that certain neurons in the brain's temporal lobe were only active in response to certain aspects of sound, such as a specific frequency. One set of neurons might only react to sound waves that had a frequency of 1000 hertz, for example, while another set only cares about those at 2000 hertz. Armed with this knowledge, the team built an algorithm that could decode the words heard based on neural activity aloneMovie Camera (PLoS Biology, doi.org/fzv269). The team hypothesised that hearing speech and thinking to oneself might spark some of the same neural signatures in the brain. They supposed that an algorithm trained to identify speech heard out loud might also be able to identify words that are thought. http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg22429934.000-brain-decoder-can-eavesdrop-on-your-inner-voice.html#.VFJ--JDF9Nw----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ... The NSA's wet dream... This is a very interesting technological development. This research will likely get a lot of funding. Do you think we will live in a world in which we can see the thoughts of people before they say them?

We'd have bitcoin 2.0, betcoin, batcoin and a million of other coins. Many coins are around already now. The government should not stop innovation.

I guess the rope they used to hang that poor woman in Iran was made in USA.... The rocks for stoning were purchased at Home Depot... Who kills more women - the USA or Iran? You are the pot calling the kettle black. That is the point. Our government doesn't kill woman for adultery, Iran does. Women have it bad in Iraq but men have it even worse. I don't really see the logic behind complaining about the poor living conditions of women rather than the poor living coditions of people.
Why do men have it worse than women in Iraq?

Nancy Fitzmaurice was born blind and suffering from hydrocphalus, meningitis and septicaemia, which left her unable to talk, walk, eat or drink. I don't think the child could decide anything. And I don't see how this is a victory for women's rights, it's a victory for human rights in general. The child must have been unable to decide anything. She was blind and unable to talk, walk, eat or drink - how would she be able to decide?

In conclusion, they're a useless waste of taxpayer dollars.
They willingly put their lives on the line every day, never knowing when some violent thug is going to attack them just 'cause he ran out of iced cream and was in a bad mood. We're are a lucky society to have these heros around, protecting us. If that was satire, you're doing it right Police officers do put their life on the line every day. Without the police and law enforcement then there would be very little that would stop people from committing crimes against you and your family. The issue with many police forces is that they are poorly trained (do not know enough of the law), and have bad policies in place If there would be no police a neighbourhood would form their own security group and system. Nobody wants their things stolen, police or not.

Their code of protecting their "brothers" at all costs is very scary.
Cops have always been motivated by money. But in this particular case there is no business protected?

Forensics recently leaked by the Feds show shots were, in fact, fired inside the police cruiser where Michael Brown first attempted to murder the officer. Also, 6 African American eye witnesses have come forward and admit Michael Brown was in the midst of bull rushing the officer when the fatal shots were fired. As a longtime resident of Ferguson (and lifelong resident of St. Louis), I am not looking forward to the (almost certain) rioting and looting that will commence as soon as the Grand Jury, in Clayton, votes to not file charges against the officer.
Oh now he is an attempted murderer now too? ... You are so busy defending the police that you don't realize THEY are the ones putting you in danger... Not now...he's dead now. .... The police put their own lives on the line to protect us. I believe they (as a whole) deserve respect for that. Our police force is not a single entity but a group of powerful individuals. This power can be abused. You have to observe them case by case. The way the authorities deal with Ferguson currently may not be the best one.

I received a message on twitter from some looking to buy BTC. Not a problem, I told them to PM me. They tell me they are 15 and can't by coins since the local ATM was seized.
I have no problem selling BTC, but to a kid seems a bit, well, odd. Should I tell them Ill meet if they bring a parent along?
Contact your lawyer to discuss the best solution. Generally there shouldn't be a problem if it is a low amount, but this depends on your country.

Seriously....Probably will never happen. Facebook has roughly 1.28 Billion users. The internet has roughly 2.6 billion users. Means about 50% of the internet has facebook and uses it. I am guessing Bitcoin doesn't even come close to that. If we could hit 20% of the global internet users I think that would be huge, 50% is way out of the question.
In time Bitcoin could reach a much larger percentage of the internet, Bitcoin is very young. If it hits 20% all of the posters here would be very rich.

Interesting video. I hope bitcoin digital currency can be in the future, free from government intervention, free of taxes, free of policy and government monopoly, absolutely free ... I do not think governments can ever regulate bitcoin. I do not think they can regulate banks either.
