$42 is a fair price for a 23 year old player, not to mention how good he looks on the pitch. Liverpool have taken the right steps to improve the quality of the team, the arrival of Gakpo has given Klopp many options in choosing players on the front lines. Liverpool needs to be at the desired point, after leaving the group of teams fighting for the trophy, now Liverpool must focus on finishing in the Champions League zone.

I am actually surprised that Liverpool was able to sign Gakpo now so quickly after the World cup. I always thought that Manchester United was interested in signing Gakpo even way before the start of the world cup because their coach, Erik ten Hag, already new Gakpo as a great player from his time in the dutch Eredivisie. It just turned out to be true once again, that Manchester United is just not top address in european football anymore. Most of the players choose clubs like Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain, Manchester City, Liverpool and Bayern Munich over Manchester United nowadays.
It will be interesting to see if Gakpo can perform well at Liverpool. I am not so sure yet.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking should be limited and time based on: December 29, 2022, 06:45:15 PM
Developers need to learn from Binance CEO and BNB, they introduce APY and APR and the exchange / project is still functioning, I know that many staking protocol are build on scams/Ponzi scheme but those that are not scam are making mistake, here is what I learnt from Binance
This is what real staking should look like to keep your project running without hurting the project, most especially new crypto projects.

I think there is a little misconception here between native asset staking and staking on a yield farm or on an exchange or something like that. I don't think that staking a token that has native staking programmed into it will ruin it. Obviously this was all thought through when the project and the tokenomics were created. Projects like Atom, Radix, Polkadot and now also Ethereum all have a staking functionality and i think all of those projects have good fundamentals.
Staking assets on a yield farm is a different story though. If the farm is offering huge APY's on your stake then it should be obvious that this can not be healthy in the long run, because those interest somehow need to be generated too.

Werner is a really talented player. His performance in the Chelsea team was not good enough. He managed to score just 4 goals in 21 matches with Chelsea last season. But Werner's performance with Leipzig is quite good. Although he is not able to score regularly, he is contributing to the overall performance of the team. However, Leipzig will face problems if Christopher Nkunku leaves the team. Because Christopher Nkunku is the regular scorer of Leipzig's squad.

Timo Werner shows some pretty weird performances in the last two years or so in my opinion. I mean it is obvious that he has all the important abilities that you need to be successful in the football of today. He has a good technique and he is extremely fast, but somehow he almost completely lost his ability to score. Sometimes he misses chances that are so big that it is almost awkward to watch and the next time he tries to pass to his teammate even if he is completely alone in front of the goal. I guess he is just a very sensitive player, that needs to feel comfortable and also needs to be sure that he is fully supported. I think sooner or later his confidence will come back.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2022 Crypto Dead Projects List on: December 28, 2022, 10:41:46 PM
97 projects 2022-10-27
This collection presents a list of cryptocurrency projects that failed in 2022, including those that announced closure, entered bankruptcy, or had websites that had been inactive for a long time. 26 of these projects had funding in the amount of above $3.6 billion.
Many projects went bankrupt due to the collapse of Terra and FTX

Thanks for that list. There are some pretty big names on it with Celsius, BlockFi, Anchor and many others and of course there is also FTX and Alameda which is responsible for many of those other projects to go bankrupt too. That those projects received a funding of 3.6 Billion $ is just crazy because in the end that is a huge amount of money that is basically lost forever probably. For everyone that makes a big profit in crypto there is someone that is making a loss obviously.
I also like that on that list there are no stupid meme-coins listed because obviously most of them are dead again withing a few days anyway. If those list would have included meme-coins, then it would have at least 10000 entries i would guess.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: December 28, 2022, 03:18:14 PM
SBF is a terrible parasite in the crypto ecosystem. He said What Happened as if he didn't care about what was happening right now. He looked relaxed and was probably drinking coffee and leaning back in his chair.

"[NOT LEGAL ADVICE.  NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE.  THIS IS ALL AS I REMEMBER IT, BUT MY MEMORY MIGHT BE FAULTY IN PARTS.]"

I don't really have the exact timeline of the events happening at and with FTX at the top of my head right now so i can not really say if this tweet of him was made when it was already clear that FTX would go bankrupt or if this happened still before that. No matter when exactly this tweet was made it still leaves a very sour taste to everyone that is involved in the crypto market. The people that were hit the most were obviously those that were invested into FTX or that had funds at FTX. Most of those people lost all of their funds. This is something that can ruin the lifes of people and to make such a tweet then is just a very bad taste.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 28, 2022, 03:05:40 PM
About Bochum their performance were slightly better after having new manager and when Bundesliga starting again most of the players hopes they can managed their performance and avoiding relegation zone and their next opponent is Hertha Berlin and they are not strong opponent so although is hard but there is a chance for Bochum to earn 3 points from Hertha Berlin especially Bochum was performing well during playing at home but one thing for sure Bochum have to improved their defense and it's necessary because their defensive lines is one of the worst in Bundesliga

Well i think that the performances of Bochum so far have not really been that surprising to most. In the end they were the number 1 candidate to go directly back to the second Bundesliga back before the last season started, but somehow they managed to show some incredible games and they finished the last season on position 13 of the Bundesliga table without being really in danger of being relegated at all.
It happens pretty often though that teams have a very hard time after such a surprisingly good season like the one of Bochum last year. Now they are facing all the difficulties that everyone expected them to face last season already.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can DeFi still be trusted?? on: December 27, 2022, 10:14:56 PM
another bad day for inverse finance, they got exploited for $1.2 million. due to this news INV token trading volume dropped drastically (72%).
whether vulnerabilities to exploits in DeFi make investor funds insecure?
if you have invested in DeFi token please give your opinion!

It is not a surprise that the price of that token drops if their website and services have been hacked or exploited. I don't really know how exactly the exploit worked that got those hackers those 1,2 Million$ but in the end it doesn't matter to me. For me Defi is still the future of finance and one of the driving forces for crypto adoption becaues decentralization is the main thing why Bitcoin (and therefore the whole crypto space) was invented in the first place.
I have some funds on a yield farm, that is also audited, but i am also aware that an audit does not mean that my funds are 100% safe all the time. As long as it is programmed, it can be hacked.

Mikel Arteta is eventually remoulding the team to a perfect shape. Having gotten a wonderful team already, He is still on a move toward securing a dependable second option. currently Tielemans has agreed on a transfer terms with arsenal and may join them on a free transfer at the end of the season, and Myhayo mudryk is Arteta's next chase. If Arteta succeeds in bringing in these two individuals, I think Arsenal may be the next EPL champions.

The current run of Arsenal in the premier league proves again how important the mood and the momentum of a team are. I still think that Arsenal has a way weaker squad than Manchester City and Liverpool for example, but they managed to have a great starte into the season and they gained a lot of confidence from that. Now they are having a young and talented team that it is also full of confidence and if those two things are coming together then everything is possible in my opinion. I do think though that Arsenal is still pretty fragile. If they are suffering like two losses in a row or something like that i think everything can change pretty quickly again.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023? on: December 27, 2022, 04:42:46 PM
We all know that 2022 has not been friendly to the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin, being the top ranked lost over 60 percent from its all time high value.
Many altcoins have also lost more than half the value they had in 2021, the several occurrences in the cryptocurrency industry caused several bloodbath we experienced in most parts of the year 2022.

So, how are you preparing for 2023, what or which altcoin are you buying in preparation for 2023?

The bear market in that we are in right now definitely took a heavy toll on my portfolio value. It was already like 95% down compared to it's ATH of early 2021 but then the events around FTX happened with it's bankruptcy and since then my holdings are almost worthless. Thank god i only invested money that i can easily afford to lose without having any impact on my life.
I still have a few stablecoins laying around doing nothing so i am monitoring the market for good and established altcoin projects to buy. So far i have bought a few Cosmos (Atom) and now i am looking into buying some NEAR maybe, but i am just not sure when to buy. Even though i think that the price per NEAR is very attractive now to enter, it could still go down way lower.

Leipzig team in my opinion is the most threatning at the moment for bayern they have been in a great shape lately with the consecutive wins and they have their next game against bayern if they managed to win, that will make them three point away from the leader and the bundesliga might become interesting.

To be honest, i don't really think that any team can really threaten Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga this year. I just don't see any team right now that is strong enough in the long run to really push Bayern Munich from it's throne in Germany. I agree though, that RB Leipzig is the second strongest team in Germany and if a team is able to beat Bayern for the Bundesliga title in the coming years, then i think it is Leipzig and not Dortmund. I already said, that Leipzig is stronger than the BVB even before the season started, because for me the business model of Borussia Dortmund is not good if you want to play for titles. They are buying new and talented players and then there are two options. They are developing great, then they will go to bigger clubs as it happened with Sancho, Dembele, Haaland and soon Bellingham. The second option is that they don't develop that well and then they stay at Dortmund.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free crypto possible ? Or impossible? on: December 25, 2022, 07:42:22 PM
So is there any Free crypto coins tokens ?
Like Youtube is full of videos but non of them brought to me Free crypto.
Can any legit old member enlight us here from where we get the Free crypto.

I don't think that anyone in here can tell you a source or a website or whatever that gives you a significant amount of free crypto every day or so. The reason why such a thing does not exist is really simple. If everyone would be able to get 10$ worth of Bitcoin for free for example every day or even every week, then this would create such a huge sell pressure after a short amount of time, that the price of Bitcoin would drop extremely low. You always have to consider that there are "professional" airdrop hunters out there with hundreds of accounts.

You can "earn" crypto if you join a signature bounty in this forum here for example.
I get 55$ worth of Bitcoin every week in my campaign. That is a nice bonus every month in my opinion.

It looks like Barcelona must bury its desire to bring Messi back to La Liga, Liputan6.com reports that Messi has reached an agreement with PSG for a contract extension, this agreement will make Messi stay at PSG until 2024.
The news that Messi wants to stay at PSG has disappointed Messi fans in Barcelona. They really want to see Messi return to playing for Barcelona after successfully bringing Argentina to win the World Cup.

It was never realistic that Messi would come back to FC Barcelona in the first place. Everyone that thought that this would happen was either a small child or very naive. Messi is the reason why Barca is now almost bankrupt and has debts of more than 1 Billion €. They paid Messi more than 110 M€ per season and then when Covid happened the whole fragile financial construct of FC Barcelona completely fell apart and they simply could not afford to pay Messi anymore.
Barca had to sell a lot of club property in order to not go bankrupt but instead of using that money completely to pay back debts they used big parts of it to buy new players again. The officials of Barca never learn and the fans that are still asking for new and bigger transfers are totally stupid in my opinion. If Barca continues to operate like this, then they will be completely bankrupt very soon.

Everything that happens every year has great difficulties here, Do people realize that forums are starting to be left one by one? Undecided

A long and heavy bear market like the one that we are in right now definitely has an impact on the mood of the people that are involved in the crypto space. I personally don't really wanna look at the my portfolio value anymore if i am honest. It was already down like 95% compared to it's ATH even before that whole stuff happened with FTX and now it is even way lower than that. If people are sad and demotivated then of course they also have no intention to talk about cryptos on forums anymore. I noticed that also in the german subforum here. During bullruns there are new people joining the conversations, but during bear market it is very quiet.

PSV's Gapo is also being hunted from the EPL. And the coach of United, would like to have Gakpo, but on the other hand does not want to go into detail. Maybe he doesn't want to drive the price up unnecessarily that way? United will probably get more players, but where is the limit somewhere in what they can and may buy? They can just keep buying whatever they want. Not to mention that they also brought in Casemiro about 1.5 months ago. At what position should they get even more players?

I would guess that Manchester United is not happy at all that Cody Gakpo is now in the focus of many big clubs after his performances during the World cup, because i think that Manchester United is observing Gakpo since way before the world cup started. The coach of Manchester United is Erik ten Hag and he was coaching in the dutch eredivise until the end of last season, so i am pretty sure that ten Hag already knows Gakpo quite well for a few years now at least.
Now that other clubs may also want to get Gakpo it could become really hard for ManU to get him. After all ManU is not one of the best clubs in Europe anymore.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can CEX's prove their solvency? on: December 24, 2022, 07:06:25 PM
GM crypto fam.
So, after the FTX debacle, big exchanges rushed to prove their reserves, and that ended up with Mazars halting all work with crypto firms.
What I dont uderstands is, how can we know which tests will demonstrate the solvency of a centralized crypto exchange? Who is to say that funds cannot be shifted at any time, like SBF did from FTX to Alameda?

I also recently noticed that there is an icon displayed now that says "'Exchange reserve data available" or even"Reserve audit available" behind the name of the exchange if you look them up at coinmarketcap. So far it seems like that only Coinbase and Kraken have finished their audit of the reserves from the big exchanges and the one from Binance, Kucoin and others are still ongoing.
So in theory it is definitely possible that the reserves of Binance and Kucoin are not really existing in the way they proclaim and that they have just moved around assets in order to make the impression like having enough reserves. So we can just wait for those audits and hope that the auditors are making a good job.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 24, 2022, 02:28:45 PM
After he played well and got the trophy world cup, many clubs want his service now, I do not doubt when PSG and Man City scramble for him, but when I heard the other news, Chelsea have a 200 Million budget to recruit Enzo to Stanford. Of course, when heard that money, Benfica will make 10x profit. Benfica just bought Enzo for 16 million from River Plate, if 200 million happens, the club will be got a lot of money and can build a better team than before.

I would always be careful and be also very hesitant to hype up new players so extremely fast after they have played one good tournament. Obviously he played a very good World cup and he achievement the biggest possible success their with the victory in the final, but it is also true that this was an exceptional performance of the Argentinian team as a whole and not of a single player. Fernandez played a great world cup because his team enabled him to do so and because he was carried by the passion and patriotism for his country.
We have to wait now how he performs in the "normal" games again when there are no emotions involved. I doubt that Chelsea would be so stupid to pay a transfer fee of 200 Million € for him.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is how altcoins performed in 2022 on: December 24, 2022, 02:24:04 PM
Name   Percent Change since Jan. 1st 2022
So most of the leading coins are in red mark only. Hope next year will be better.

Wow. Of course i know that we are in a heavy bear market because obviously there was no way to miss that but looking at those raw numbers now just makes clear again how much wealth was lost in those last 12 months in the crypto market. I mean even BTC lost more than 60% of it's value. Those are just massive values. If such price swings would have happened in the traditional stock market, then we would already have another world financial crisis in the same extent as the one from the 1920's i think. Monero was holding up quite ok at the first glance but the reason for this is, that monero did not pump as much during the last bull run as the other projects.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 23, 2022, 06:56:10 PM
Mbappe's hat-trick in the FIFA World Cup final game is truly remarkable. Mbappe is a smart and efficient striker. If he keeps his performance like this, he will become a great player in the future.

A hattrick is always a great thing to achieve but to do this in a world cup final is an even bigger accomplishment. I don't really know the statistics but i am not sure if a player ever managed to do this before. Maybe Pele but i don't think anyone else. If we look a little closer though then we also have to keep in mind that 2 of his 3 goals were penalties. Of course penalties count just as much as "normal" goals and you have to make then in frist but i still think that it is a difference, if you scored 3 goals out of the running game, or if you scored those goals via penalties. In the end it does not really matter though and i am also sure, that Mbappe would have rather scored no goal at all if France would have won the world cup instead.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's highest amount you have earned from altcoin bounty? on: December 23, 2022, 06:51:29 PM
Altcoin bounties are famous for being useless. However, there tends to be gems every once in a while, have you come across such any?
What are yours?

Well first of all i have to say congrats OP as you have seem to hit the jackpot with your JRT-bounty. Sadly i was not so lucky with my altcoin-bounties. The best ones that i were part of where the Bounty of DeepOnion back in 2017 and 2018 but of course i did not sell back in January of 2018 when my bag from the bounty was worth around 130k$ or so. I held on those tokens for a few more years then i sold them for around 3000$ last year or so. That is still a nice amount of money but of course just a fraction of what would have been possible.
I also took part in the bounty of Radix for a few weeks and got like 18k coins from it. Those are worth only around 630 $ at the moment, but 1 year ago they were worth 11k, of course i did not sell again.
Nowadays it is almost impossible to get a good altcoin-bounty in my opinion. The "good" projects don't really need to do a bounty and therefore the only thing you get are bounties from stupid meme-coins that will be dead in 2 weeks anyway.

For some reason, even though Paris Saint Germain has a capable squad, especially in attack. But I have the same thought that Bayern Munich will be the winner in their encounter. Apart from the special players at Paris Saint Germain, I feel that Bayern Munich has its own advantages that PSG don't have. I mean in teamwork, Bayern Munich looks more solid than the Ligue 1 giants.

For me the outcome of this match between Bayern and PSG is completely open, a real 50/50 game. I think that the team that is able to score the first goal will have a huge advantage obviously. Just looking at the squad one could get the impression that PSG is the favorite because they obviously have Messi, Neymar and Mbappe in their team and two of those were the dominating players in this years world cup. It is also true though that those 3 attackers do almost nothing to support the defense of their team and that is a disadvantage that is not to be underestimated and Bayern also has a great team with great individual players.
