701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about these hyped projects for 2023? on: December 23, 2022, 02:02:12 PM
Hello everyone.
Every once in a while I do some research here and there, to see which crypto projects are more hyped and talked about. Remember, I'm not saying these are good projects or have strong fundamentals, just that I believe they are more hyped than the others. So they can be a good investment, or a bad one.
So which one of them do you think will perform better in future? If you have any opinion for (or against) anyone of those, I'll be glad to hear it. Smiley

I don't know if those are hyped projects. For me "hyped" means new and everyone is talking about it but the projects that you have listed are all big and established already so i think the hype-phase of them is already over, which is a good thing in my opinion. From the projects included in your list i only really took a look into NEAR and the Graph. Back then i even tried to get into the pre-sale of The Graph but sadly i failed to get an allocation. Back then the public sale price was 0,03 per token. At the moment we are at around 0,06$ per token so this could be a good entry point. Don't for get though that the seed sale price per graph was only 0,003$ per token, so those big VC's probably still have a heavy bag that they could dump anytime.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 22, 2022, 07:06:29 PM
Ronaldo has not had a team for the second half of the season. he became a free agent for the transfer window this season. but the news currently circulating where Ronaldo is reported to be in Riyadh is true, but it cannot be confirmed whether Ronaldo went to Riyadh to do business or Ronaldo really wanted to accept an offer from the Al Nassr club.

Probably to check out their training facility and whatsoever.. Unless Fabrizio tweet that Ronaldo's deal is done then all those rumours circulating around him is probably some fake rumours made to get attention to their page. I would totally love to see Ronaldo play in some european club instead of just some out of nowhere club that is made with 'oil money'

I would be really surprised to be honest if Cristiano Ronaldo would really sign a contract with Al Nassr. I know that it is rumored that he will earn 200 Million € per season there, which is an absolutely ridiculously high salary, but i still think that he wants to play for a club that is still participating in the UEFA Champions League. I think that CR7 already has enough money and that it is more important to him to leave an even bigger mark in the record books of football than he is already doing at the moment. So he wants to continue to set new records in the Champions League and for that i am pretty sure he would also accept offers for a club that would only play 1/10th or even less than Al Nassr.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana’s position in the space. on: December 22, 2022, 07:02:48 PM
Solana took a pretty big hit since the market has been down.
Are people confusing the quality of a product with the shop that’s vending it?

I have seen negative threads and articles about Solana here in this forum, but also on other crypto related channels and websites way before all the stuff with the bankruptcy of FTX even happened. In those articles the people were mainly criticizing that Solana is a very centralized crypto project and that this centralization is against everything that crypto projects should stand for. It is the same with XRP, which is also heavily centralized.
I also think that Solana will have a hard time to prevail because there are other projects coming up, that are doing similar things like Solana. Aptos for example was listed recently. Of course Aptos also took a hefty hit because there also Alameda (FTX) was the biggest investor, but that was just an example of new projects coming up, that are competitors to Solana.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: December 22, 2022, 12:56:16 PM
Now that many teams are about to resume back to UEFA champions league competition, I guess there will be surprise  performance in this resumption from some teams because, many teams will feel they are on top no need of adding more effort again. Based on what I have experienced during the holiday, show that Real Madrid will lack in the area of attack which will cause the team poor performance because, they relaxed on one player in the team that is facing injury.

Well first of all, this is the thread about the UEFA Europa League and not about the Champions League. So i guess you posted in the wrong thread. Regarding the situation of Real Madrid: I am not 100% sure but as far as i know Karim Benzema should be completely fit and healthy again when the second part of the season starts in the Primera Division, because there were already reports that he would have been able to play for France in the later games of this years World Cup but Deschamps still decided to leave him at hame.
The first matches of the Champions League are at the end of February, so i am pretty sure that Benzema will be 100% fit by that time.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Paxful delisted ETH? on: December 22, 2022, 12:46:05 PM
Paxful delisted ETH but why Paxful delisted?
Paxful CEO--- " integrity Over Revenue "
Why or what do you mean by this word?  Will there be any negative impact on the Ethereum market in the sudden delisting of Ethereum?

To be honest, i have never heard of Paxful and/or their CEO before and even though i am not a hardcore crypto enthusiast i am pretty sure that i woudl have heard about that platform, if it were one of the big ones in the 5 years that i am now interested in the crypto space. Therefore i would guess that this announcement and decision does not really have a big impact on Ethereum if it has any impact at all.
To the reasons for his decision. I know that a lot of people disliked the fact that ETH switched from PoW to PoS and i guess it is also true that big exchanges and also big whales have a lot of power over the network now because they own so much ETH, but i also think that PoW is a consensus mechanism that is just not fitting in the world of today anymore, where the big topics are climate change and to save energy.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 21, 2022, 03:59:41 PM
Time is running out and there is only one month left for the Bundesliga to restart its competition. With such a long time, all teams in the Bundesliga should be able to make the most of it, especially since the winter transfer market will soon open, which can be used by every team to shop for players to build a stronger team.
The opening match in week 16 will be a match between RB Leipzig vs Bayern Munich, this will be an interesting match of course because Leipzig is a team that really deserves to be considered as a competitor to Bayern Munich even though their levels are still different so far.

I also think that the winter brake is pretty long this year even though the World cup was happening in the winter this time. I could be wrong though. Especially the players from the german national team are already at home for 2 weeks now or so so they had like 6 weeks before the second season of the Bundesliga starts.
I am not so sure if there are really a lot of transfers happening in the winter because usually winter transfers are only made if there is an urgent situation. So maybe Bayern Munich decides that Sven Ulreich is not good enough to be their number 1 keeper for the rest of the season and we see a new goalkeeper coming to Munich.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy altcoins because they are top altcoins on: December 21, 2022, 03:55:00 PM
Top coins changes since 2013 to 2022
Coinmarketcap Cryptocurrency Historical Data Snapshot
Many coins lose their top positions and many of them are dead coins too. Some dead Bitcoin forks, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin SV. Lately in 2022, Terra and FTT are latest top coins fell to the hell.

I agree with you here. I still remember back in 2017 when i made my first steps in the crypto space i think that both IOTA and also Waves were in the top 20 or even in the top 10 in terms of total market cap and look at where they are now. IOTA is at rank 68 and Waves is even lower ranked with 125. So i also think that the current ranking in terms of marketcap does not automatically mean that those projects will also be among the big gainers once the next bullrun starts. I mean obviously those projects already did a x100 at least in most cases or they would not be in the top places. That being said, i still think that if you are only owning small cap projects at the moment then now is a good time to get at least a few established projects into your portfolio.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first attempt to play gambling on: December 21, 2022, 12:24:32 PM
How was your first start? Did you play blindly or spent some time to learn.?

My first attempt to gamble was already like 15 years ago or so an i have to say that i was pretty naive back then. I think it started gambling when i saw one of those youtube videos that were promoting that "trick" while playing roulette, where you only bet on red or black and if you don't get it right you double your bet the next try and you repeat this step until you got that bet right and then you have made a small profit. I think that kind of method is not permitted in "real" casinos.
Of course sooner or later you will be unlucky like 7 or even more times in a row and that means that all your money is gone. That was the same in my case.
Now i also know of course that those youtube videos were just made to lure people into using that online casino and that the video creator got money for every user that was referred by his link.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Robo Inu? on: December 21, 2022, 12:19:09 PM
Anyone heard of this? Some are saying it’s going to be the next Shiba Inu. They have a wallet and a DEX coming out but don’t really seem to be going anywhere probably because of the bear market. Could this be the next one to blow up?

My advice to you and to everyone is to stay away from such meme-coins because in the end they are just shit-coins. It is as simple as that. The only reason why those projects are created is, that the "team" behind those projects wants to make a lot of money with almost 0 effort. They just create another Ethereum or BSC token, create a copy and paste website and that's it. In many cases the "team" behind such projects is just a single person that wants to take away money from naive investors.
99% of those shit-coins are never really alive. The other 1% maybe survives a few days or even weeks and makes the team and early investors rich but eveyone that comes in on day 2 or even later is already rekt. Just stay away from meme-coins. Their time is over.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 20, 2022, 09:38:19 PM
The reality of this Benzema drama is the fact that he would have been ready for either semi-finals or finals and manager asked him to leave and get treated and heal, he basically sent him off without taking him off the list. That means "do not come back" in every case, and Benzema got mad about it which is understandable but I also understand the manager because it is not easy to just keep a player and then hope that they will play just a single game.
Like how could you put a player who comes back from injury and starts at final game directly without playing any other game before that? But, I understand Benzema as well because he would have wanted to be there.

As far as i know Didier Deschamps is a very authoritarian coach, that expects his players to do what he says to them. Karim Benzema probably was the best striker in the world together with Robert Lewandowski in the last two years, so it could have also made sense for France to take Benzema with them to the world cup even if he would have missed the group stage games. I mean France was the big favorite to win this competition (and they almost did) so it was to be expected that they would reach the quarter- and semifinals and then Benzema would have definitely be able to help the team.
On the other hand i heard reports that Benzema was not really like by his team mates so it could have also been a decision for the chemistry of the team.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should be very careful with alts on: December 20, 2022, 09:31:59 PM
Crypto is a perfect engine for scammers because it's still unregulated and it's also the wild west when it comes to making money quick with less efforts. .
Apart from rugpulls and influencers scam that are very famous with altcoin investment there is one particular side I want you to be much aware of.
Many altcoins you are seeing right now are build on "Make the project, promise the entire world rare utilities and never really deliver anything, they will keep using words and investors will keep hoping.

I definitely agree with you here. I think that the crypto space provides many opportunities and it still is possible to make great profits in here within a relatively short amount of time. That being said, the chances to lose your investment are probably higher than the chance to actually make a profit with it and the many scams that are going in the crypto world are a big reason for that. Even if you are doing your research and you check everything about a project that is available you can still fall victim to a scam and lose all your money. My advice would be to not touch meme-coins at all because their only purpose is to make the team behind it reach without any effort.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 20, 2022, 02:20:58 PM
Ronaldo playing for Newcastle doesn't look possible to me, Newcastle might no be a 'poor' club, but the take over by the billionaires who bought the club is still relatively recent, and it is yet to have any impact on the team. It would be queer to see Ronaldo playing for a club like Newcastle, it would be a new low in his career and i don't think he will be interested in it. If Ronaldo is to stay in Europe, then it has to be a big club that's playing in the CL, if not it's better he leaves for Saudi Arabia knowing his time in the spotlight/elite football is over.

I always thought that Cristiano Ronaldo would not be allowed to play in the Champions League this season anymore because he already participated in a european club championship this year with Manchester United. I just searched that up though and i found out that he could still play Champions League for another club because he is only suspended to play Europa League this season and i doubt he wants to play there anymore anyway. I also think that he will choose a club where he can play Champions League over any offer from other clubs even if those other clubs are offering way more money. Nowadays CR7 is only playing to set new records or to improve the ones that he already reached.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin Dead ? on: December 20, 2022, 02:16:08 PM

Quote
Dogecoin Price Losing the Grip as Elon Musk May Not Remain Twitter CEO for Long!
The Dogecoin price has been trading below the crucial 200-day MA since the beginning of the yearly trade. Meanwhile, the buying volume has fallen heavily. Also Today Elon Musk expressed his willingness to step down as Twitter CEO. He conducted a poll on twitter platform.
The Dogecoin price seems incredibly bearish and if Elon Musk quits as the Twitter CEO, the token may be badly impacted. Earlier Coinpedia made dogecoin price prediction for the end of 2023, as $0.158. But with current news it wants us to rethink and ask – is doge coin dead?

If the only reason why a crypto project has a good price development, is the fact that a famous person that actually has no connection to Dogecoin whatsoever is making funny tweets about it, then this just means that this project does not really have any use case and does not provide any benefit for it's users. In the end it is just a meme-coin and no one should expect to much from such projects as Dogecoin was introduced as a fun and likeable project a few years ago. Sadly the the tweets of Elon Musk have initiated that crazy wave of second generation meme-coins and during the hype of that wave 1000's of new shit-coins appeared every day and now meme-coins are likeable anymore.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 19, 2022, 06:11:35 PM
what a beautiful world cup final yesterday! perhaps the most beautiful of all time. I think the whole world expected Argentina to win! for Messi, to crown an immense career full of trophies!

I personally did not really expect that Argentina would win yesterday to be honest because for me, the French team just has a stroner squad and has better players than Argentina at almost every position. Yesterday made obvious again though that class and quality alone does not mean a lot. You also need passion and commitment. In the first half the French team showed a really really bad and also weird performance. They seemed like they were not motivated which should not be the case in a world cup final obviously. In the end Argentina definitely deserved to win.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters, how much you really earned in the last two years? on: December 18, 2022, 04:17:34 PM
I see that there is still a big rush on bounty programs. I wonder if it's worth the effort.
spamming the forum, creating multi accounts, buying merits... is it really worth that much?

It always depends on which bounty you are part of obviously. I know people here in this forums that made like 3-4 bitcoins with the Chipmixer bounty campaign before they changed the term during the bullrun of 2020/2021. This means those people made like 200k $+ in they have sold those BTC when they were at the ATH. Of course this is a very rare exception and only a handful of people very this lucky. Now the chipmixer campaign is still the best paying in this forum as far as i know. They are payign 6$ in BTC per post for a maximum of 50 posts each week. This means you can make 300$ each week or 1200$ a month in this campaign. This is more than most people earn with a full time job in 3rd world countries.
Of course it is almost impossible to get into that campaign.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 18, 2022, 04:12:38 PM
France is missing, 35 minutes, not a single shot.

Boring game so far.

Yeah i am also very surprised and also very disappointed by the performance of the French team in the first half of this final. I mean it really seems like they do not really care and that they are not motivated at all, which should actually be impossible because it is a world cup final after all. Argentina on the other hand is very motivated and they really go all out. It is just noticeable that Argentina is really really wanting to win another world cup because their last victory was already 36 years ago.
I think it can still be a very close game in the second half though. France has great players and if they manage to get their stuff together, then they are definitely able to score 2 or even more goals in the second half.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 17, 2022, 10:21:20 PM
A bit disappointed today, morocco lost the third place to Croatia, I didn't get a chance to watch the game to know how their performance were, but the result of the match is really disappointing for me, after all the hard work and strength they've put into this game which brought them to the semi finals, it is only ideal that they could have at least stood at the third place since they couldn't make it to the finals, but still, they lost it.

I am pretty sure that everyone that is a fan of Morocco would have been extremely surprised and extremely happy and proud if you would have told them a few weeks ago that their national team would reach the semi-final of this years wold cup. I mean for most of the fans and experts they were a sure candidate to not survive the group stage of this tournament because they had Croatia and Belgium in their group, but they managed to surprise everyone and even finished the group on the first place.
I think that everyone in Morocco should now be extremely proud of their team and i am already interest how many players of Morocco will join strong european teams this winter or after this season.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your alt bags on: December 17, 2022, 10:17:19 PM
It's starting to look like we are going to see a huge dump in the coming weeks into 2023, altcoins are in trouble as big venture capitals are selling off their holdings, and another one today is DCG
Almost all altcoins are now making new all time low, Gala games for example look like it's going to 0.015$ after holding 0.025$ for months, I have halted my buys right now because I believe that BTC will go lower, what are you plans?

I don't really looke at my portfolio value anymore at the moment, that is just to depressing for me lul. It as already down like 95% in comparion to it's ATH from back in may 2021, even before all that stuff with Terra, FTX and now Binance happened and now it is even way lower than that. I will just keep hodling my altcoins because it would just feel wrong to sell them now after i have held them for so long all the way down. To sell now would mean i would realize those losses or to throw away that potential profits.
I am pretty relaxed though as i only have small amounts into crypto and that is only money that i can afford to lose without any impact on my daily life.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 17, 2022, 03:50:59 PM
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, that Chelsea and Christopher Nkunku have reached an agreement to sign a contract, it is also reported that a clause worth 60 million euros for this player and has undergone a medical test. He is only 25 years old and it seems that Chelsea's future will be a little bright, but Nkunku can only join Chelsea in July 2023. It seems that Graham Potter is lucky enough to get one of the good attacking midfielders, but he can also fill in as a second striker, a player from France who while defending RB Leipzig, this is so complete to strengthen Chelsea's attack line.

If this rumor turns out to be true then i think that FC Chelesa definitely made a great deal here. I watched a few of RB Leizpigs games in the last few years and in most of them Nkunku was the best player on the pitch there. He is incredibly fast has a great technique and he is also pretty effective with his chances. As far as i know one of the former managers of RB Leipzig has also joined FC Chelsea recently. So i can imagine that this also played a role if they have really managed to sign Nkunku already. His market value is at 80M€ so if they have really got him for 60 M€ then this is really a great deal for Chelsea.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge Binance outflows - should we be concerned? on: December 17, 2022, 03:46:27 PM
GM crypto fam.
Since I'm pretty busy and can't keep track of everything, even though I'd like to, this is something that I don't understand very well and would like to get your opinion on.
So, Binance recently halted USDC withdrawals because outflows reached $2B, which indicates to me that many investors are worried about their state, even tho they resumed withdrawals shortly after that.

Binance is probably the wealthiest and most healthy crypto exchange out there. They made that clear when they published the data about their exchange reserve funds which were at around 70 Billion $ if i remember correctly. That being said, i think there is no company out there in the world that is absolutely 100% bullet proof against a possible bankruptcy, so of course it is also possible hat Binance gets in trouble. The bad thing about such rumors and news is, that they are triggering a chain reaction. First a few big players start to withdraw their funds from an exchange and then as soon as this gets noticed more and more other investors are doing the same.
