961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: June 11, 2023, 06:17:42 PM
I saw this online and thought maybe i should bring on to bitcointalk for discussion.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?
That’s natural for those gamblers who are betting more than they can afford to lose. They will always feel deep regret once their funds have completely lost instantly without even them giving chances to win. As a gambler, once you start feeling that, it’s better to just stop gambling immediately before you used up all your funds and go home feeling so frustrated and regretting.
962  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gambling is different from trading on: June 10, 2023, 09:34:19 PM
Gambling and trading are both have their own risks. You may end up losing in both. However, gambling is a game of chances and luck while trading focused on skills and developed strategies which means there is more way to win than to lose unlike gambling which is mostly designed to lose the gamblers and making the casino owner the winner in the end. That made them completely different. But if you trade like a novice and knows nothing about skills and strategies, certainly you will end your trading like gambling.
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Also Girls Should Be Taught About Bitcoin on: June 10, 2023, 08:56:40 PM
There isn't much difference between a guy or a girl who wants to learn about Bitcoin. Both genders are equally interesting and while there may be slightly more guys interested imo. I also know some girls which are my friends who have been into Bitcoin and have been investing for a while now. One of them, making literally a lot of money through trading and that's not surprising because she's a kinda nerd.

Even young children can start investing in Bitcoin, to be honest, It's not about gender; it's always about the willingness to invest and the desire. If you have the desire to invest in Bitcoin and learn more about it, then you will do it. If not, it's unlikely that you'll change your mind.
Investing in bitcoin is not hard, as long as you have the desire to learn and improve what you have gained and learned. And everything with bitcoin does not choose any gender to be successful, as you will always achieve that regardless if you’re a girl or a boy, smart or not, highly knowledgeable or not, as long as you are always eager to learn and develop your potentials in bitcoin investment. And the more you become patient in your investment, the higher the rate you’ll succeed.
964  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Factors that's why others are hesitant to start in crypto on: June 10, 2023, 06:12:18 PM
I want to add one more point.
Crypto Ban In The Country: Recently in my country Government has banned the Crypto so the people who don't know about crypto, when we deal or try to tell them about crypto they say this is ban so we don't do any illegal work. So we also face this problem in our country.  The social media make panic situation in the people so they don't buy or sell.
It could be somehow correlated to fear since people do not start with crypto knowing bitcoin is being banned in their country and that they are afraid to get caught by the government and put them in jail. And once it’s banned, it’s considered illegal so if you are a law abiding citizen, you would not want to enter into crypto and become the target of the government as being disrespectful to the country’s rules and policies.
965  Economy / Economics / Re: To Hodl or Lend: What is your take? on: June 10, 2023, 05:50:09 PM
Basically I am a holder.
but on the other hand, this will depend on what kind of person and goal you are. Holding for me is more precious to do because this is for Bitcoin. Something tht is very risky but o  the other hand can be exactky very promising at once. As long as we have the right time to do DCA and make more for holding, it will be exactly worthy, won't it?

I have never heard the concept of lending or do it, so after reading Op, I thought they were trying to explain staking in another method. This is because in staking you still need to give up your capital for a certain period of time for a percentage interest.
But if lending means to give out all the coins such that you won't see it in your portfolio any more until it is returned, I think it is risky to do.
I won't risk my capital for a little profit. I will better be patient till when bull run comes and the coins will still grow in my hands.
Either lending bitcoin as a whole or even a portion of it, for me that is still too risky so I won’t even dare doing like that. It’s much better to lend fiat since the value is lesser unlike bitcoin that even if you lost a portion of it, the amount could be tenfolds to fiat. Instead, I will consider hodling even for 5-10 years. That may be too long but rest assured the value becomes huge and life changing.
966  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hi Im trader over 12 years of experince here is my goal on: June 09, 2023, 09:58:48 PM
Im trader over 12 years of experince.
I like to challenge myself iwill use mainly moving average indicator.
My goal is to start with 7$ and in 15 days i'll turn this into 229376$
I'll post here results when i have done this my PNL from binance.

That is very challenging mate. I have not seen any trader trying to make that huge profits in just a very short period of time. It maybe possible in gambling if you are extra lucky but i think you’ll find it hard with trading. But I’m not underestimating your potentials so if you can provide updates after 15 days then that would be great. After all, trading may give us wide possibilities to be profitable, it’s just that we differ on the strategies we apply in our trades.
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is it to keep your bitcoin investments secret from others ? on: June 09, 2023, 08:16:36 PM
this is how our identity must be protected, especially regarding btc, because crime will overshadow us at any time.
in my country the value of btc is fantastic, so if someone has btc, they are convinced that the person's life will not be comfortable, sleep will not be sound, after the identity is known as the owner of btc
Your life will only be put in danger if you keep announcing it to other people or the social media that you are into bitcoin, but if you keep your investment into yourself, then expect that no one will harm you since everyone is blind that you own bitcoin. Even in my country, bitcoin’s value is incomparable, the reason why these bitcoin hodlers prefer not to talk about their bitcoin investment and just stay low key in public so that no one will think that they have valuable assets in their account.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 08, 2023, 11:00:08 AM
To big challenges to face of by Heat organization since for sure right now they are struggling to find ways to guard up Jokic and his teammates because all of them is really successfully working on their role. For sure Nuggets will not drop the game 4 because they are eager to win their first championship on their organization this season.
It's not a struggle, but rather a matter of strategy. The Heat didn't necessarily need to completely stop Jokic, as he was truly unstoppable. However, their focus should be on limiting Murray, as they can't afford to let another player produce a monster triple-double performance like he did in Game 3. By limiting Murray's impact, they will have a better chance of winning. Additionally, their 3-point shooting should improve to enhance their chances of success.

It doesn't matter how we perceive it, but Jokic is undeniably a major problem for the Heat. Once he is near the paint, it's practically a guaranteed score because of his precision, and he remains composed even in physical games. There were instances in Game 3 where they allowed Jokic to shoot 3-pointers, and although his shooting wasn't consistently on target, he still managed to make some shots.

The challenge lies in the fact that Jokic is not only unstoppable inside but also dangerous from the outside.

The Heat need to exhaust him early, force him into committing fouls, and frustrate him. However, in that particular game, we didn't witness that strategy effectively implemented, and Jokic went on to produce another triple-double performance.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 07, 2023, 12:37:47 PM
while your country plans to ban crypto trading but online gambling legal, you'll gonna to decide what to do with coins.  would you go play your coins to accumulate or just withdraw and wait for the government to change stance?  no other option.

I would rather continue playing and cash out when lucky. The amount of Bitcoin I use for gambling is not substantial, so it's not a significant problem for me if I lose it. However, when it comes to investment, that's a different story. If crypto becomes illegal in our country, it would be difficult for me to hold onto it since exchanging it for fiat currency wouldn't be easy. But as they say, where there's a will, there's a way. Let's see what happens.
970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: June 07, 2023, 12:13:00 PM
For me, this applies to skill-based gambling, and my favorite is sports betting. However, even though the strategies for success are already written, it can still be challenging to follow them. Quitting is the hardest part, and it's true that we need to be disciplined if we want to become professional gamblers. We must understand that not every day is a winning day, and sometimes we experience a long losing streak. During these times, we will be tested to see if we can remain focused and follow the game plan.

The mentioned strategy is aimed at succeeding in gambling, and if we fail, we would not lose everything because it emphasizes knowing when to quit.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which campaign is better? Bounty campaign or Signature campaign? on: June 06, 2023, 03:10:35 PM
It depends on your budget. Actually, both types of campaigns can be good as long as they are managed well. I recommend hiring a reputable campaign manager, even if they charge a higher fee compared to typical campaign managers. This way, you can ensure great results.

In my opinion, signature campaigns that pay in Bitcoin can be very effective. You can find more active members who contribute to the forum, rather than bots who just post for the sake of earning money. To make your job easier, look for the best campaign manager available.

If you're looking for a campaign manager, I suggest posting in the services section. Typically, the best ones have lots of recommendations and feedback from forum members.
972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 06, 2023, 02:45:46 PM
Speaking of Tyler Herro, I don't think the Heat would risk playing him if he is not 100% healthy. They are not desperate because they have already evened the series by winning one game on the road. They have the advantage to delay Herro's return in order to ensure he is fully conditioned and to avoid risking his future if he were to get injured again. Additionally, Herro may not have had much practice with the team, so there's a chance he might underperform and potentially cost the Heat a game. Considering these factors, I'm fine with not seeing him come back in the game.
973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The effect of Bitcoin on children on: June 04, 2023, 06:47:11 PM
I'm gonna bet $100 that this didn't really happen.
It's possible, as @hd49728 stated, that "children love art," so this might be true, but the OP needs to support this up with photographs of the youngsters drawing the Bitcoin logo.

Nonetheless, it is always a good idea to start our children with solid knowledge because they will develop with it. If they are exposed to Bitcoin knowledge at a young age, they will grow up with it, which will be really beneficial to them.
That could be the best way to prove that this has really happened, at least there should be some supporting photographs. But actually, it doesn’t really matter if this one is fictional or not, one thing is certain, exposing young minds into bitcoin will help them develop early interest in bitcoin and might be a good motivation once they’re mature enough to start investing in bitcoin. Bitcoin is an art, a man’s way to tell his choice in life, and if it will be explained well into children, these kids will certainly love bitcoin and the whole thing about it.
974  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Danger of posting your bitcoin address online on: June 04, 2023, 06:23:08 PM
But for bitcoin, nothing will be revealed relating to you by merely seeing your address. It is again good to use non-custodial wallet for keeping your bitcoin safe and own total right to it.

If you reveal even a single address, your whole wallet could be revealed if that address is used together with other addresses in your transactions. If your addresses are revealed, they can be linked to your social media, for example to address that you put on your profile on this forum. After your social media profile is identified, your identity could be uncovered if you post some photos of yourself, or leave other information.

Bitcoin only has anonymity if you put some effort into it, otherwise it's really easy to leave a lot of traces.
True. Bitcoin is designed to be anonymous only if you are responsible enough to secure its complete anonymity. Otherwise, exposing it in social media will trigger some bitcoin hackers to start eyeing on your account as the next possible victim. And even people who are complete strangers once they know that you are a bitcoin owner, then you must have the wealth that most of the people will get envy of.
975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding the Basics of Trading in the Cryptocurrency Market on: June 04, 2023, 06:04:20 PM
(....)
2. Develop a Strategy: Once you apprehend the market, it's far important to develop a buying and selling method. You need to determine on the kinds of cryptocurrencies you want to spend money on and whilst to buy and sell them. You need to additionally decide on your danger tolerance level, as buying and selling inside the cryptocurrency market can be risky.
Among the list, this is the most I agree. Because before you will become profitable in trading, you need to develop your strategy. After you develop, you need to master and practice it.
But before you develop your strategy, for sure you will first have a lot of experience and that is difficult like using a lot of indicators or chart patterns, joining some community about trading that could help you to interact with some traders and discuss different strategies, it will help you to choose yours.

If we aim for a successful trading, then we should have our working strategies to make it possible, not just one but even two or three strategies can be good enough so that if one strategy becomes obsolete, you can use your other strategies that you have mastered already. Although different market condition requires different strategies, but it’s really a must that you have working strategies to rely on everytime you trade in the market.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wife discovers husband's hidden Bitcoin during divorce proceeding on: June 03, 2023, 09:59:20 PM
A crypto owner should be proud about the decentralised nature of Bitcoins. It means that no government or any other person can know how many Bitcoins you are holding. So my only query is that how did the forensic expert find out about his digital holdings. The husband here in this case could have easily saved all the Bitcoins, but now he has to surely follow what the court will decide. So yes bad luck for the husband.
Probably, his wife might be suspecting him even before that he’s really into bitcoin, it’s just that she has no way to find for it. Now, she’s being smarter to claim what’s for her too when she found out that his husband had been keeping bitcoin all along. Let’s say his husband might have his own reasons why he’s being secretive to his wife, he might have predicted it that the marriage may not going to work for long.
977  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin as a retirement plan for my parents on: June 03, 2023, 07:18:27 PM
It is not easy to convince anyone even if it is your parents especially when you are still a student. If you are from a well-to-do family, your parents are probably thinking about your guts to convince them about an investment when they are doing well financially. At the same time, you are still a student without proof that you are better than them when managing money.

The best way for you is to look for extra income so you can invest even a small fraction of bitcoin. There are many ways to earn online if you are just determined. No need to convince your parents right now. It is enough that you introduced them to what is bitcoin all about and that it is not a scam.
Find some means first so you can start investing in bitcoin and when your investment paid off, that’s the time that you can make a good move to prove to your parents that bitcoin is real legit and not a big scam. Do not convince them to like and invest in bitcoin, just let them know once you are making consistent profits with bitcoin. I guess those proofs will be good enough to make them favor with bitcoin in the end.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: June 03, 2023, 06:24:18 PM
So sorry to the family of the victim. It is sad to see this.

Some people do not think about the consequences of using high amount of money on gambling, but when they lose the huge amount of money, they will be depressed and some people will feel like killing themselves. He is young, but he supposed to have faced what comes after and change for good. If there is life there is hope.

Supposing he knows about this forum, maybe he would have learned some lessons from what we are posting.
This is the reason why gamblers who can’t even control theirselves should never be gambling at all. Instead of being aware and understanding that gambling naturally comes with losses, they blame theirselves for their losses and when things aren’t bearable already, people will resort into suicidal which is a very wrong mindset. You’re right, if this student might have been exposed on this forum, he might be living and overcoming losses up to these days.
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Force Your Children to Learn Bitcoin on: June 03, 2023, 05:49:30 PM

I think that play is a very big lesson to everyone in the contemporary world. So if your children are not interested to learn bitcoin please don't force them. Everyone has their own destiny.

I think no child will want to learn Bitcoin by nature unless the parents will introduced Bitcoin to them. We all experienced being a child and we only like playing. Those financial things are typically not the children problem because there's always a time for them to learn that.

We are just stealing them their childhood if we will exposed them early on the financial problem of our life. Parents should be the one that will save for their children and just transfer it to the child when they are on the right age.
Children will only want to focus on play and pleasure, but if they will be exposed earlier about saving and managing their money, maybe it will help them to develop early interest in bitcoin. Of course, parents should never force their children to like and invest with bitcoin, but at least we should educate them on it so that in the near future, if they want to invest in bitcoin, they will have already that idea on how to work on it.
980  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the most significant trading sacrifice you believe you have made? on: June 02, 2023, 09:59:16 PM
It takes a lot of time to become a successful trader, and that's what most of us here would have sacrificed.
About money, I didn't go that way till I believed that I'm ready enough to trade real funds, that's when I trained my mind as well as my psychology a lot about the risk management and various other aspects through which I learnt trading. I never went to trade huge lots even after knowing that it was a demo account, that's because I wanted to prepare for real world trading and if I can do that, anybody here can do that.
The most important thing here is to achieve consistency which is why we need to give trading a lot of time, and also follow some successful personalities because the vibe that comes from them increases our faith that one day, we will also be one of them. Wink
Making some sacrifices in trading are not new anymore. People take some loans and even sell their assets so they can start trading at a good amount. While professional traders might be confident from doing this, but for beginners they are not advisable to risk these types of sacrifices. Most likely, they are more susceptible to losses so they should always trade at a minimal amount. Good thing for me, I was not able to take loans or sell something important for me in order to trade. I just reserve some funds from my salary and start trading when I know I have earned enough guts to trade. And as expected, I kept on losing at first but have overcome them when I’ve gained personal skills and strategies in trading.
