You may have updated the post, but you forgot to update the title of the thread. I came in here looking for 1080ti or 1070 and neither of them are in the OP. By reading through the thread, it looks like the 1080tis have been sold, but I do not see anything about the 1070's so I'm sitting here a bit confused. Do you have any 1080ti 1070, or is your only availability laid out in OP? Are you willing to ship to USA?

That would have to be something you decide for yourself Zip. I've had wonderful experiences with newer users around here, they've been the ones buying the GPUs, trying out the services and winning MJ's mystery boxes.

You could always ask for proof of funds if you are uncomfortable with their bid, giving them a chance to prove that their bid is valid. I would accept the bid personally, so I have no problem with it, but I've just seen a lot of benevolent newbies lately.

You become a part of the drawing by being invited by the current participant. Right now we are waiting on Polymerbit to realize they've been invited, hop into the thread and choose their slot. Once they've done that they are able to invite whoever they want; it could even be you.

I've already promised 2-slots to users that haven't been invited, so unfortunately I won't be extending a 3rd at this point (although I have been considering krogo, the king of free raffles). Good luck getting yourself an invite, it's out of my hands now!

 

Consider my heart, broken. Maybe with the gold release you could set one (or a few) aside beforehand; throw a dog a bone, as it were. If I'm lucky, the sooner you get these platinum coins shipped out the sooner I will see one up for raffle in the secondary market. Fingers crossed. I'll make sure to have some coin ready for the Gold Pre-Orders (I didn't miss them, did I?).

Would you consider choosing another user if Polymerbit doesn't choose their slot by the end of the day? I would hate for this to come to halt because someone is too busy
I'm willing to wait, no problems there, but just for the sake of everyone involved. Don't want the suspense to kill anyone.

The item can be chosen after you win, to save on confusion, time wasting and make things a bit more efficient. No sense in making 16 people choose a design if 15 of them aren't going to receive it (unless I was going for a clever marketing ploy).

I have posted exactly the same way long before I was enrolled in a campaign and I will continue to post the way I see fit regardless of what is in my signature. I can’t tell if you’re just pulling my leg or if you are actually deluded enough to believe that. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, but your intellectually lazy claim being so unfounded and off-topic is off-putting.

I know that I seem to ask this with every new project's thread, but I'm wondering if you would be willing to consider doing a raffle for one or two of these platinum coins? .07 feels like a rough buy-in right now, but 1/16th of that is something I can stomach; surely I am not the only one.

I received a couple of PMs asking for more information regarding the card, saying their bid was contingent upon a few things so I figured this would make it easier.

After being lied to, abused, listening to contradictory statements and getting the run-around from both support teams the balance popped into my account and it seems like the issue was entirely on BitPay's behalf. Doing some more digging, I believe the issue is that when I originally had paid the invoice the fee was too low, so I had (without thinking) send a Replace-Fee transaction, which seems like it may have confused the system. I was tired, surprised and not thinking straight when I had thought my money was stolen. In other words, I may have been being a bit dramatic.

Anyways, the money is now in my namecheap and the invoice from BitPay has been updated. Now I suppose the only two problems remaining are BitPay's ability to handle Replace-Fee transactions and Namecheap's ability to inform their representatives of the payment options they offer.

I go to sleep for a couple of hours and you guys really took this one off. I will update OP to reflect all of the slots taken in a few moments. Thanks for getting the ball rolling everyone, this should be a good one.

This raffle is intended to be Invite-Only, but I apologize if I have not made that (or what that means) clear enough. I mean no disrespect, but I chose DarkStar_ to start this one off, which means they get first dibs on a slot. Then once they have chosen a slot, DarkStar_ will select the next participant to claim a slot. Then that user will choose a slot and invite the next participant; this will continue until we're all filled up and ready to roll.

I am absolutely baffled right now. I'm going to try to do my best to explain the situation adequately, but I am pretty pissed off. I started using namecheap to register domains and today when I went to deposit Bitcoin a tremendous headache has begun. I attempted to deposit balance into my account using their Bitcoin option. I selected $50 as the amount to give me enough funds to grab a dozen or more domains to work with. Now here's where the magic happens.

I Fufilled the Bitpay invoice hours ago, the transaction has 30+ confirmations, the invoice links to a confirmed transaction, yet my account on namecheap remains without balance and the invoice claims no funds have been received. I contacted support and they claim there is no transaction, the address is not funded, they have received no bitcoin and advised:




I was unaware that Bitcoin had a support team, imagine that.

I attempted to reason with Customer Support by producing the TXID, the original invoice, the address they requested funds be sent to having the exact amount they requested they simply said:


They claimed that the TXID was created on my side and that the funds did not arrive in the address. They say this, even though the transaction has 30+ confirmations and is indeed in their address. This is a lie, and this is after a previous representative had told me they had received my Bitcoin and it would be in my account within the hour.


Can somebody please point me to Bitcoin's support team? They seem to be the people I'm looking for.

Clearly, these people do not understand the currency they are supporting and accepting. They sound uninformed, helpless and it is causing problems like my funds sitting in an address and my account remaining without a funded deposit. The result is my funds are stolen without compensation. They simply advise me to contact Bitcoin support, which doesn't exist. At the very least this is painfully ignorant to a reputation damaging degree and at worst this is systematic abuse of cryptocurrency customers. I don't know what else I can produce as proof of this incident, or what can be done in light of it. I just wanted to get the word out there, to see if there was anybody with a similar experience or a suggestion for how to move forward. I'm stuck and don't feel right about letting BTC disappear because of some incompetent company. I don't understand if this is the fault of BitPay, Namecheap or myself, but the answers I have received thus far are inadequate, embarrassing and insulting.

Can I expect to see my funds back? Does Namecheap have any accountability for their carelessness regarding Bitcoin? Would BitPay be more at fault and now that the funds are out of my hands how likely is a refund or a successful deposit? Should I contact BitPay or will they simply give me the same runaround and finger pointing that Namecheap is?

I have about $400 on steam that I don't see myself having any need for in the near future. I have purchased every game on my wish list, and have games to last me a lifetime.
