1681  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Firearms and accessories on: June 09, 2018, 01:44:59 PM
I would be interested in this kind of thing, but you provide next to no information. This probably more fittingly belongs in the "Marketplace" board, where things like this are discussed. This board is more so for the actual sale of items for BTC. Yes, there is interest though; our community prioritizes freedom as a thing of great importance and with freedom comes the requirement for firearms. Almost nobody reputable will do anything illegal in this regard, so as long as it is FFL to FFL and other laws are followed you would have customers for sure.

Any firearm I acquire would have to comply with CA/NY laws and that's a daunting task, but if it passes then you have my interest.
1682  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [RAFFLE] MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6G on: June 09, 2018, 01:10:42 PM
If there aren't enough people interested in buying slots to this raffle, then I will also take offers for the card. If someone purchased all 16-slots then they would effectively purchase the GPU. I already have 1-slot claimed through PM (didn't pick which slot yet, will update OP when they do), so that leaves 15-tickets up for grabs. It's less than $30 for a ticket, actually it is closer to $20. That chance to win and chance to lose is the entire fun of a raffle. You might get something for dirt cheap, or you might just be out a few dollars.

If you're interested in the card, I'll take offers via PM, but I'd preferably pull a raffle.
1683  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.011 btc loan on: June 08, 2018, 11:36:56 PM
This isn't your first rodeo, keyboard-warrior. Your first post on this forum was begging for a loan without collateral; this is how you got your negative trust in the first place. Now that you've spent a couple of months around the forum and certainly know better, you are still doing the same old nonsense. This tells me that you do not learn from your mistakes and that you have no capability to improve yourself in the near future.

Nobody is going to fund this loan. You have the most pedantic and entitled attitude I have ever seen. It's offputting, pathetic and quite disgusting. Continue to hurl racial slurs and believe everyone is below your pedestal. You still won't get the loan. I would expect more negative trust, and probably a lot more "spamming" to come your way. Learn how to act like an adult.

You are a wonderful salesman. I am wondering if you would be willing to teach me some techniques? I am willing to pay for lessons.
1685  Other / Archival / Re: . on: June 08, 2018, 03:52:14 PM
We've had a little back and forth about this auction, so I feel pretty confident throwing up another bid. No sense in letting this go for so cheap, unless it's going to me.

1686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First Rig! Complete Noob now mining successfully! on: June 08, 2018, 01:35:19 PM
I didn't even realize we were in the Bitcoin section of the mining world. That is my mistake for not realizing sooner. I believe OP can move the thread themselves, though. Just move it to Alt-coin Mining, I believe you can do so at the bottom left hand part of the thread. We are indeed numbnuts.

Unless, OP are you mining Bitcoins with those GPUs?  Shocked
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First Rig! Complete Noob now mining successfully! on: June 08, 2018, 01:22:10 PM
Afterburner doesn't like older cards, from what I can tell. They weren't made to work together.

The only coin you need to mine is ZEC. Wink The old "When life gives you lemons" cliche; sometimes you have to do what works. It might be earning comparatively little, but if it is still profitably mining, then it is not useless. I once thought my laptop mining was useless, so I stopped, but if I had just left it running and held onto the coin until today I would've earned thousands of dollars a day from a beaten up laptop. I know there are some distinguished and reputable miners that stand by exclusively mining ZEC, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Have you attempted to use NiceHash? They're software is pretty compatible with most cards, would be surprised if the 560ti doesn't work.

It sounds like it is already working properly, but you don't like how it is working. Oh, but I would suggest that you don't OC cards unless you are willing to part with them sooner than later. I treat my cards with respect and never push their temperatures high or TDP. I'd rather not have to deal with a broken card, because that cost time and money.

SHAMELESS SELF-PLUG : If you're interested in getting another card for your rig, I have a 980TI up for raffle. Not sure what your coin situation is, but it's a great opportunity to get a relatively high-end card for next to nothing.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First Rig! Complete Noob now mining successfully! on: June 08, 2018, 12:58:25 PM
That is absolutely adorable. Cheesy I recently got into mining myself. I used to mine on a crappy laptop back years ago and until about 6-months ago that was my only experience with mining. Then I started mining with the 980TI that I already had, which got me motivated to grow my mining operation larger. 1070ti's were a consideration of mine, but ultimately I decided on a pair of 1080TIs as my next addition. Keep growing, keep upgrading and always be looking for opportunities.

If you don't mind me asking, why is the 560ti "useless"? Is it mining at a loss? You say you replaced it, but have you gotten rid of the 560ti? I might be interested in buying it off you, if not.

Different manufacturers produce different quality results. EVGA is top-notch, and when I saw the differences between low-end manufacturers and top-notch temperatures/longevity it is an easy call.
1689  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Kialara Original + Labyrinth (Silver Balls) on: June 08, 2018, 12:51:13 PM
Would it be possible for you to post some pictures of these? I have no doubt you're in possesion of these, but for my own eyes I would like to see what we're working with. If you're unable, I understand.

Recently, a very similar (lab) kialara sold for .065. See here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4371234.0
Are you willing to share what you'd accept for each individually? Even a ballpark estimate, because I might be willing to grab the original from you if we can meet at a solid price.
1690  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS][INSTANT] Digital Ocean Credit Codes $50 FOR $0.5 on: June 08, 2018, 12:28:45 PM
Free 2 coupon codes for 5 members with good reputation

I haven't seen anyone too reputable pop their head into this thread and claim these free coupon codes. I'm wondering if I fit the bill or qualify to receive a free couple coupons. If you don't mind me asking, how are these codes acquired? Is there any risk that my account is being exposed to by using these coupons? I'm trying to figure out if this is something I would even want to involve myself in, for free.

P.S. When you "bump" your thread, please delete the old "bump" post. This will make your thread look a lot more appealing.
1691  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] R9 Nano x8, R9 Fury X x2, Radeon Pro Duo x4 on: June 08, 2018, 12:24:25 PM
Are you able to provide proof that you are in possession of these cards? 2-months ago you didn't even know what escrow is, but now you are a seasoned hardware dealer with escrow as an option and all sorts of cards. Pictures with your username and date would be extremely helpful towards believing this is a real offer. Which escrow do you plan on using? Hopefully it is one of the reputable escrows around here that everyone would recognize as trustworthy.

Can you ship to US for extra cost? You didn't mention what payment methods you are accepting, either.
Do these come with the original packaging? Boxes, bags, etc.
1692  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Post Review (Improve your posting behavior) on: June 08, 2018, 12:18:38 PM
Well, guess what are they here for? Why would they improve their post quality for no reason? Everything gravitate around the money, and merit means more money. Easy peasy ...
So, don't be disappointed. That's live.

That makes me feel dirty. They should want to improve their post quality in order to more clearly and efficiently convey their thoughts. They should want to improve their post quality because it will open all sorts of opportunities for them if they are able to articulate their thoughts and speech in a way that is attractive to others. I'm not saying they should want to improve themselves for no reason, what I am saying is that there is an endless sea of reasons and merit should not be the primary motivation. Maybe I am being naive, but I'd like to think that there are members arriving on the forum that are not solely driven by money and merit.

Thanks for your nice reviews. I will try my best to improve myself.

 Kiss

i am a new member here and don't have full awareness about posting rules so you made me well understand about posting behavior in your post and i learnt a lot from you thanks a lot.....

Here's a friendly tip for a new user; when you are quoting a post from another user it is normally appropriate to -snip- and "trim" the post down so that you are not completely re-posting everything they already have. It is regular that people only quote the specific part(s) they are responding to. That being said, could you please explain a little more about how I helped you understand more about posting behavior? I don't believe I've ever given you a direct review, nor have you requested one in any of my threads. I'm very interested to hear how I've assisted you in anyway.
1693  Economy / Goods / Re: *price drop* Sega genesis 3, two remotes and 15 games on: June 08, 2018, 12:10:40 PM
Your thread was not ruined by killyou73 requesting proof of the offer you are using as a "reserve". Your thread was not ruined by me showing my interest if you are able to prove the offer is legitimate. An offer that you received over a week ago is almost certainly not still available from someone on Craigslist; those people get what they're looking for the same-day or they find it elsewhere.

Newbie with negative feedback for begging for a loan without collateral is claiming we ruined his thread by asking for proof of his claims. Whining and complaining about your potential customers is the best way to ensure they never actually become customers.

I have done nothing, except provide a friendly tip about bumping your thread, encourage you to take killyou73 up on their offer and proclaimed my interest in the console. If this ruins your thread, then stop posting threads. You clearly have thin skin and cannot handle criticism or apparently even a simple conversation.

I would just lock the thread at this point, go with one of the local offers. You said you would prefer that, anyways; no need to beat a dead horse. You claim you have offers, so take one. You don't understand what is expected or how things are handled here.

Telling us we are wasting our time and life by asking questions is moronic. You're not going to get what you want from this sale or this thread, this much is clear by your temper-tantrum and the price being lowered multiple times.
1694  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Would you buy Bitcoin Apparel? (Shirts, Hoodies, etc.) on: June 08, 2018, 12:00:00 PM
I also noticed that child sizes are hard to get.

Child sizes should not be a problem; I think it's even easy enough to do a onesie for a baby. Bitcoin Baby Gear might be pretty hilarious. Shipping and handling will be fair, try to do my best to lower it as much as possible. I'm not going to be trying to make tons of profit off each shirt, as long as it keeps itself going I will be happy.

(IIRC, you're from US, am I right?).

This is correct. Minerjones normally handles a lot of other countries, though; I'm sure you've researched that option already, though.

IMO, you shouldn't limit the designs to buzzwords (I've seen some crypto shops [with such designs] and it's kinda hard to see the wow factor in them).
- There should be some sort of blending.

I certainly wasn't planning on limiting my designs to these kind of things. This was simple my starting point to get the ball rolling. I want to have dozens of designs, something for everyone and their mother.

How about expanding it into other promotional products as well (usb, bag, mug, cap, keychain, pen, lanyard and etc...)?

Definitely noted. I will take a peek at other kinds of products. Pillows might be neat, too.

looking for graphic designers to help me out
I can lend a hand (if you want).

Yes, please. You're one of the most well-known and talented graphic designer around these parts. I would welcome your help with open arms.
1695  Economy / Goods / Re: *price drop* Sega genesis 3, two remotes and 15 games on: June 08, 2018, 12:49:26 AM
If you honestly have an offer, I would take killyou73 up on that deal. A free 1/10 oz of silver just for proving you have an offer on your item, that's the easiest 1/10 oz of silver you'll ever make in your life. That doesn't seem like trolling, it seems like an interested party calling you on your B.S. Now it your turn to either reciprocate, or come clean.

I'm somewhat interested in this console, and honestly I don't believe you have the offer either.

P.S. When you bump your thread, delete the old "bump" posts, so that your thread isn't multiple pages of "up" replies. This looks horrible.
1696  Economy / Computer hardware / [RAFFLE] MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6G [FULL] Block # 527163 on: June 07, 2018, 11:21:25 PM
I have a 980TI 6GB up for raffle. I figure a raffle would be a good way to get people interested. You have a solid chance at scoring a pretty high-end GPU for extremely cheap.

The card can be seen here : https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127889

Available Tickets:

0 - gt_addict (Paid)
1 - player514 (Paid)

3 - player514 (Paid)
4 - player514 (Paid)
5 - player514 (Paid)

b - Spazzer (Paid)
c - player514 (Paid)
d - player514 (Paid)
e - player514 (Paid)
f - Spazzer (Paid)
PPT : .003125 BTC

Shipping is included with the price of your ticket if you are within the USA. If you are outside of USA you'll have to sort shipping through a re-shipper such as Minerjones, please contact them beforehand if this is your circumstance.

Payment Address will be added when slots are full, or close to filling up and I will contact all participants via PM and post an update to the thread.

Choose a Slot, or multiple slots and then once slots are filled up I will provide a payment address; after payments have been made I will select a future block and we will roll for a winner.

The card is currently mining gently (75% TDP), earning about .0002/day - .0003/day at NiceHash on average lately. That means one ticket would take about 2-weeks to ROI, so this is a really good opportunity for someone to get skin in the game without much investment.

I borrowed bits and pieces of the raffle format from other users around the forum, hope that isn't in bad taste.

Let's get started!
1697  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Would you buy Bitcoin Apparel? (Shirts, Hoodies, etc.) on: June 07, 2018, 02:15:57 PM
I personally would buy a hoodie.

I'll hold you to that. Cast your vote too, Omega! Of course I appreciate and acknowledge the input down here in the thread, but your vote would help me garner a more accurate poll. Wink

I see a lot of people selling online as you're planning to do but I'm not sure where and how are they created? so as said above, quality should come first.

There are many sites that allow you to create or upload designs and place them on various mediums. Most people skimp on the quality and overcharge for the product. I was looking at the highest quality options, trying to figure out where the best materials, printing and production value would be had. A lot of sellers are honestly making too much profit on their apparel and wears. I would rather bring higher-quality products into the market, for a lower price than they are charging for their gear and bring more interest in altogether.

and as a suggestion, you could add "In cryptography we trust" for the sayings you already have.

The merit was for this suggestion, because I like it a lot and it certainly is something nice to have in the back-pocket. I've been struggling to figure out what to put, if anything, on the backs of a lot of the designs; this might be just what I was looking for.

I personally do not buy bitcoin clothes, I design it myself even though I am not a graphic design but I love to draw for clothes that I will use even though my drawings are so ugly.

Fair enough, I can't fault you for enjoying what you do and making things yourself. My hopes is that my designs will be at least creative enough for people to happy to wear them.

Especially if you have the advantage in terms of quality, I think it will be very easy to develop.

This is going to be where I place a lot of my interest. Quality is going to be paramount.
1698  Other / Archival / Re: Calling out Blazed and dooglus! look at the actions of your minion. on: June 07, 2018, 02:08:12 PM
I offered to help people, suchmoon tagged me for it. read reference, read title of my thread.

It is extremely interesting to me that you believe everyone on this forum to have amnesia, or short-term memory loss. This is why we use the archive.is as an alternative reference, even though you refuse (for some unknown reason) to acknowledge them as a proper reference. Specifically, so that you cannot edit your posts, change your titles and claim that there is a grand-conspiracy against you, as you are doing. "Read title of my thread" after deliberately changing the thread title to make yourself look better is another deceitful tactic that should further solidify any distrust that these members already had towards you.

1700  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for $500 loan , No collateral to offer on: June 07, 2018, 01:31:27 PM
So, you're a newbie asking for a $500 loan that you may or may not payback in 2-months, because you have no guarantee that you will be able to have the repayment by then and you do not have collateral to back these terms with any kind of confidence. Do you honestly think this is going to result in a loan, or negative feedback from DT members?

Without collateral, and with those shaky terms there is almost nobody that is crazy enough to fund this loan. You're more likely to find a generous donor, or angel investor than someone to grant you a loan on these terms.
