1301  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Raffuction] White Trezor and Digital Bitbox on: August 31, 2018, 06:09:42 PM
I will take slots "b", "d", and "e". Hopefully we can fill this up and get it rolling, I've been questioning whether or not I should grab a couple slots; I figure at this point I will just claim a few spots and if the interest picks up I will pay for them closer to rolling.

All 3 slots @ .0015BTC

Thanks for consistently running raffles, even though people have been stingy with their coins lately (not that I blame them).
1302  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Exchaning Paypal funds for BTC at 15% preev on: August 31, 2018, 02:44:39 AM
That does not sound appealing, in my opinion. I understand if you are trying to use this as a business model, but the risk outweighs the rewards and there is no reason for your customer(s) to eat the cost of your business with others. A prospective customer with the more valuable (BTC) resource probably shouldn't be charged a premium to get your Paypal, but that's just my two-cents. 5% might be more reasonable, if you're going to ask for anything, since that at least could be a more justifiable handling fee.
1303  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] WWII Nazi Luger Made in 1941 by the Mauser factory in Obendorf on: August 31, 2018, 02:06:02 AM
are you firm on $9500?

Price: $2500 USD,

May I ask why the price has been reduced to 1/4 of the original price (or -$7000)? I understand lowering the price when it has been on the market for a bit, but was the original price a mistake, has something happened to the piece or is there another reason I am overlooking? I think it is a fair question to ask, how did you come to own such a piece? Not sure I'd be willing to throw $2,500 at it, but it looks like it's in impressive condition and it certainly is a piece of history.

I'm going to assume it is Range-ready?
1304  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Interest 4% ~ 8% month on: August 31, 2018, 01:07:31 AM
I am having a difficult time understanding why your potential "investor(s)" wouldn't simply use the Platform to follow the trades themselves with whatever amount they are comfortable with? I'm not sure anybody would be willing to put their money in your control without an escrow or collateral to guarantee themselves to some degree that their funds are safe. On a side-note, there are better traders so what made you decide on James Harrison instead of anyone else?
1305  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin Socks. BTC Yellow, BCH Green and Orange. $10 per on: August 31, 2018, 12:44:20 AM
These designs are pretty slick. I'm definitely considering grabbing myself a pair or two; I like the orange pair the best, but the black and yellow are a close runner-up. $10 isn't bad for premium socks, because there's some big name companies that charge twice that.
If I were to purchase two pairs does the price of shipping remain the same?
What material(s) are they made from?
1306  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Exchaning Paypal funds for BTC at 15% preev on: August 31, 2018, 12:25:25 AM
So, for someone like me that regularly gets my BTC turned into Paypal when I need a quick couple bucks to cover a payment you would require that I wait 6-hours after sending you the Paypal to receive my BTC? That sounds excessive and not effective.. Whatever you are claiming this would prevent, it would not, and if you believe this to be keeping you safe in your transactions then you are mistaken. This simply acts as either a false sense of confidence for yourself, or as a time-padding that allows you to pull off a withdrawal scam before they chargeback. What exactly do you mean by verified? Paypal accounts need to be "verified" prior to sending or receiving any cash.

Also, is the 15% fee in your favor or in the favor of the person with the BTC? It doesn't make sense that someone would bring you BTC for your Paypal, and then also pay you an exorbitant fee. If you'd be willing to send the funds first, operate with no hold time or/and forfeit the 15% rate to be in my favor then please let me know and we can do a few trades.
1307  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (WTS) GTX 1080 MSI ARMOR | Brand New Sealed 350$ on: August 30, 2018, 11:32:24 PM
What is the absolute lowest that you would be satisfied to receive for this card? I'm asking because, I'm in the market for a 1080 or a 1080ti, but I am unwilling to pay market price. I am looking for a good deal so that I can be excited while I mine with the card. Since you are so new around here I would require that the card get sent first, or that we use an escrow paid at your expense. You've had this up for a few weeks without any bites, so consider lowering the price significantly and working with me.

When was the card purchased? Do you have the original invoice/receipt? Is it still currently under warranty?
1308  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 1080Ti 1070Ti 1070 & 1080 Full Miners Watercooled and non Prices lowered on: August 30, 2018, 11:13:37 PM
Would you be willing to go down to $350 for a 1080ti, or $250 for a 1080? This is a more realistic price point for miners that are looking to get involved in purchasing from you. I want to be able to ROI with my gear, so this is where I'll have to put my stake in the sand. I'm not too interested in water-cooled gear. I am not trying to frustrate or low-ball, I am simply trying to get myself a deal that makes it worth it to purchase.
1309  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Gigabyte Gtx 1080 on: August 30, 2018, 10:55:09 PM
Card is sold for 360$ and shipped a few days ago,

I believe you mean a "couple" of days, otherwise you bumped this thread after it had already been sold, which doesn't make any sense. Good luck with your sale, hope you didn't accept paypal and already have the funds secured.

250$ is dirt cheap, you and i both know you will never get a 1080 for that price, and the cards will not get cheaper,

Thank you for further demonstrating your cognitive dissonance or lack of knowledge on the subject. I wouldn't agree that I'll "never" be able to get a 1080 for that price; so we both don't know that to be that case. All cards do is depreciate in value, if you believe that your card is going to hold it's value above $250 forever then you are delusional. $250 is cheap for the current market value, but not by much and not for long. The cards, mark my words, will get cheaper..

you want to buy a 2080? Buy it. Pay 850$ for a 20-40% ( or even lower) bump than a card being sold for 350$ , hell buy it for almost the same performance as a 1080ti thats sold for 450-500$.

That's some really bad grammar. "Never" and "anytime soon" do not belong next to one another; they are not complimentary descriptors, because they contradict one another. I've already told you that your feelings about the 2080 are irrelevant to the price of a 1080. I'd be willing to bet that I can get a 1080 for $250 (the $ comes before the number, by the way) within the next couple of days, maybe I could keep you updated on the matter. Nevertheless, if the item is sold then you'd be best served locking up the thread, pocketing your money and moving on with your life.

The market will not play in your favor on this one dude

I think you mean "I personally will not sell you a GTX 1080 at your requested price". You do not dictate the market, but it's quite interesting that you repeatedly show that you believe the market is your personal call.
1310  Economy / Lending / Re: Seeking 0.3 bitcoin loan. Offering 10%+ a month in interest, negotiable on: August 30, 2018, 02:56:48 PM
If you are not a scammer and actually want to get involved with the community then lock this thread. You will receive negative trust very quickly and there is 0 chance anybody will be willing to fund this loan without valid collateral, as has been mentioned. Go read the stickies, rules, guidelines and observe how requests such as this have been responded to in the past. It's not something that ends well for the requester.

You're showing all of the "How to spot a Scammer" signals. Just so you're aware of how this behavior comes off.
1311  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Gigabyte Gtx 1080 on: August 30, 2018, 02:19:15 PM
You would get Paypal offers even if you were asking $500. This is primarily because those people have no intention of allowing you to keep the money. They will try to figure out a way to never send it, and even if they do it will lead to a chargeback. I've gotten some ridiculous offers on things in the past and it gave me false hope that the market was going to play in my favor. Don't allow your card to gather more dust, let it go for $250; at least reconsider your stance on the price, because it's only going to to get worse from here (in terms of market price).

The scams of ebay are what causes the prices to be so high there, Amazon is mostly people looking for extraordinary profit, Paypal offers lead to scams... It paints a pretty bleak picture, but the combination of BTC price being so low and the 2080 not being released yet will allow you to get a decent chunk of coin right now if you allow it to happen.
1312  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] Bitcoin Penny™ SILVER - Single #5 PRICE LOWERED 12/16 on: August 30, 2018, 02:16:00 PM
We're going to close this one out due to a lack of interest. I believe Spazzer is the only one that has a paid stake in this one so far, so I'm going to send them a PM to figure out what they want to do. Probably just a refund, but we'll see. Thanks for grabbing your slots, everyone.
1313  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLECEPTION #2] Win tickets for Bitcoin Penny™ SILVER - Single #5 PRICE LOWER on: August 30, 2018, 02:09:50 PM
Locking this up, due to a lack of interest. Thanks for the suggestion AM, I was sure it would pull in some buyers. Everyone seems to have a high pucker factor when it comes to their coin lately. Thanks for reading.
1314  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [for sale] 2013 Casascius .5BTC physical coin, intact hologram. on: August 28, 2018, 04:22:53 AM
The photograph should include your username from here, otherwise we have no idea of knowing who took the picture. This isn't going to be fool-proof verification, but it's a step in the right direction. Would you consider taking another photograph with a timestamp plus your forum username?

You will not consider using escrow, or anything like that? Chicago is a few states away and there is easier ways to complete a transaction so that we are both safe. What are you looking to get for it? I'm sure you would get some really good offers and guarantees if you were willing to work with escrows and do a forum transaction that has been tried and true for years.
1315  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Gigabyte Gtx 1080 on: August 28, 2018, 03:55:25 AM
You're not willing to budge on the price at all? $360 cannot be the absolute lowest you would be satisfied getting for the card. If that were the case, then I might as well just purchase another 1080ti (they are not in short supply ATM). Your personal feelings on the 2080 aren't exactly relevant to the market prices, but you make a salient point that I agree with, which is why I am taking advantage of the current market conditions. It doesn't make sense to overpay, but if you go another few weeks without any success then feel free to let me know. I'm always looking for a good price on a solid GPU.

Looking forward to the pictures, does it include a warranty? Is it New-in-box? Never used? I'm not trying to ask redundant questions, but that is still a bit unclear.
1316  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLECEPTION #2] Win tickets for Bitcoin Penny™ SILVER - Single #5 on: August 28, 2018, 03:48:11 AM
You have yourself a deal AM. Price of tickets is unchanged, but I've increased the amount of slots won from this to 12 from 8. I believe that is the remaining amount of tickets for the entire raffle. Let's get this rolling Cheesy

I hope you'll be buying some tickets now that I've taken you up on your suggestion. Wink
1317  Economy / Lending / Re: Need help. Looking for a loan to start medium scale mining. on: August 28, 2018, 01:58:45 AM
It takes me a lot less time to paint you than it takes you to create a new account and post your scam.

Especially when you take into consideration the fact that there are multiple people constantly checking and tagging for this kind of behavior. How often are these attempts successful, if they ever are? I can't help but feel like you have a secret admirer, Vod, and this is their way of feigning interaction.

Anyone that would be willing to invest $10,000 into someone's project that may or may not payout after years when they do not know and cannot trust the person they are lending to, has already been scammed for everything they'd be willing to spare. People can just buy their own miners, or find a reliable host for their equipment; this is not some extraordinary need that you are speaking to.
1318  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLECEPTION #2] Win tickets for Bitcoin Penny™ SILVER - Single #5 on: August 28, 2018, 12:55:57 AM
Let's give this one final bump before sending it to the grave or updating the prizes/prices (or something else you people suggest). Been busy and let it get buried.
Buy 2 Tickets get 2 free tickets for the first two users to purchase slots.
Purchase 5+ Tickets and receive 1-free ticket to gift to another user (may be used in combination with the other offer).
1319  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] Bitcoin Penny™ SILVER - Single #5 PRICE LOWERED 12/16 on: August 27, 2018, 11:54:29 PM
7 is all yours Hammpy, that only leaves one of our raffleception winners without a slot of their choice. I doubt they even are aware that they were purchased a raffleception ticket or that their slot won, almost like favourception from Spazzer.

I'll shoot them a PM now and start up another raffleception, since nobody has bought tickets to the main raffle yet.

Sorry for being away lately, as I've been very busy. Let's give this one final bump and one last push for interest.
Buy 2 Tickets, get 2 Tickets free for the first 2-users to purchase slots. This will also go for Raffleception (will post it there soon), so grab your tickets now!
Purchase 5+ tickets and receive an extra ticket to give to a user other than yourself, this can be used in combination with the first offer Tongue
1320  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Sea Foods on: August 27, 2018, 11:35:18 PM
It would be helpful to also post the rates at which you'd be selling your product. It's very hard to consider buying a product that has "?" as the price tag. What are the shipping prices and what methods will be utilized to preserve the freshness of the fish? Are you willing to accept escrow, with the terms that funds are not to be released until the product has been inspected and weighed?

Do you offer any product other than Cray fish? You say Sea Foods and only list one product.

Can I assume that your loan request was to begin this fishing company and that it was filled outside the forum?

It is against the rules to post the sale thread multiple times, which you have done :
