1221  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Video Card Sale! West coast USA. on: September 13, 2018, 04:43:11 PM
You can literally look through my Trust history and see that I have been buying multiple 1080TI and in-fact two more just arrived yesterday. Been paying .06 or less each for multiple 1080TIs and at the time of purchase that was around $350. Now it's about $390, but still far below the $500 you claim should be the bottom price.

You can choose to not believe what is happening in front of you, but that doesn't make you superior; it makes you ignorant. Continue to tell me what I am and am not doing though, it's quite amusing. I don't lowball, I ask the seller what their bottom prices are and if I do not receive a satisfactory answer I make an offer based on the average of the last handful of purchases I made of the same exact item.

Haven't paid $500 for a 1080ti, except one time about a year ago, I've had over a dozen flow in an out of my hands since then (most from this forum). $400 is the most you should expect for your 1080ti, but if you want to hold out waiting for a high-price then feel free to contact me in the future (as I said) when you fail to sell the card and the price is even lower than what I'm offering. I've seen it happen so many times it just makes me laugh at this point that you think I'm lying about what I pay. There's no reason for me to lie, I'm just being straightforward and letting you know I won't be paying higher than I have been and this is what I have been paying. You think it's some kind of game, but it's just a straightforward pitch.

Even if we give credence to your claim that all I do is lowball people, that's still better than posting unsubstantial drivel around the marketplace as you are.
1222  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] MSI Radeon RX570 4GB (USA) on: September 13, 2018, 02:25:04 PM
The card looks very good in the box, I appreciate the clarification. The picture would be more valid as verification, however, if your username and date were included alongside the card. If we're being honest, I've only been purchasing cards at extremely good prices. Extremely good prices for used cards, and extremely good condition (even for a new card). It's not easy to find these gems, but if you're just looking to get your card off then I can certainly help you out.
1223  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [FEEDBACK NEEDED] Unclaimed Domains on: September 13, 2018, 02:02:51 PM
Similar to those lists, but there are 100's of domains and they are unclaimed, meaning nobody owns them yet. I could start purchasing maybe a dozen or so similar domains and clump them into an auction. I am just wondering what kind of interested, if any, there would be in such "mystery" lists.

I'll shoot Jet Cash a PM, maybe they'll give me their opinion.
1224  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Video Card Sale! West coast USA. on: September 13, 2018, 01:58:26 PM
It's not a horrible price, but it adds too much time onto the ROI and that makes me extremely hesitant. Good luck with sales, if you ever feel like you want to get one off quickly then feel free to shoot me a PM. I've only been paying $375-$400 (including shipping) for them recently; a much fairer price Wink
1225  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] MSI Radeon RX570 4GB (USA) on: September 12, 2018, 09:26:52 PM
I don't see any mention of the word "escrow" anywhere in your post, but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that this is something you are willing to accept; am I incorrect for believing that to be the case? I am somewhat interested in the card, but the price isn't something that makes me want to jump at it. Would you be willing to bring down the price? What is the lowest that you would be happy to accept for the card? Especially considering that you're going to make the buyer pay for shipping.

When you say "almost no dust on it", I am a bit confused, because there are many members around here that have managed to ship me cards that are over a year old without a spec of dust on them. How dirty are we talking here?

I would post pictures regardless of any posted interest, because normally before there is any interest there has to be a picture (considering you're a newbie); you wouldn't want to shoot yourself in the foot right out of the gate, would ya?
1226  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Video Card Sale! West coast USA. on: September 12, 2018, 09:12:16 PM
I am wondering if you would be willing to come down a bit on a 1080ti. I'm not interested in the Zotac mini, but the EVGA   1080Ti   SC is something that I would be perfectly happy to buy at a lower price. What is the lowest you would be willing to accept for it?
1227  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [FEEDBACK NEEDED] Unclaimed Domains on: September 12, 2018, 05:18:33 PM
Yes. This is something I have done in the past, but I am attempting to save time and am willing to lose a significant chunk of profit because of it. The digital goods section of this forum is overrun with nonsense, so it would save a lot of headaches if there was interest in this kind of thing as opposed to breaking them down and attempting to sell them individually; as I've already said.

The reason this is implausible, is because since I've written this reply I have found another 200+ domains that are extremely high-quality and crypto-related, about 75+ are Crypto-Gambling Related. It takes awhile to claim the domains, list the domains for sale and then follow through with a sale. By the time my investment is exhausted I have an ever increasing pile of unclaimed domains. I need someone to help me liquidate or use them. Tongue
1228  Economy / Marketplace / [FEEDBACK NEEDED] Unclaimed Domains on: September 12, 2018, 04:53:01 PM
I have lists of 100's of unclaimed domains that are extraordinarily high quality and most of them are relevant to Bitcoin or Cryptocurrencies more broadly. I am wondering if anybody would be interested in purchasing any lists of unclaimed crypto domains, or if there is potentially any interest in me generating these kinds of lists based around your particular business idea; essentially giving you a plethora of creative, unique and high-quality domains to choose from. This would give your website the best foot to stand on while it is starting out or transferring over.

This saves the hassle of escrow, adds an element of creativity and will probably save you a ton of money when compared against the prices that people regularly charge for a specific domain that are commonplace within my list. There are many 6-7 character domains relating to Bitcoin specifically, which I feel has tremendous value within itself. Most of these are .com's, but there are also a couple of .io lists as well.

Is there any interest in purchasing/bidding on lists of unclaimed domains relating to a particular niche (be it Bitcoin, or more specific)?
I am asking this, because I'd rather sell these lists or personalized unclaimed domains rather than buying 1000's of domains and trying to sell them individually.
1229  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Feedback] Professional Sports Team Quilts on: September 12, 2018, 04:27:51 PM
I very realistically could see myself purchasing a New York Giants quilt. There's someone in mind that it would be a perfect gift for. I would prefer it larger, rather than smaller and I understand that this would increase the cost. If, for whatever reason, you decided to switch over to MLB teams then the interest would remain. Consider using Olav as a trademark symbol.
1230  Economy / Goods / Re: [Raffle] Huawei P10 32gb 2017 - Tickets 0.003 BTC on: September 12, 2018, 04:01:44 PM
why don't you include box? I ask this because in need, legally it's impossible to pawn a smartphone.

If I had one guess, it would be for the same reason that the charger is not included; OP simply doesn't have it. I was mostly being facetious with my question about the charger. There is no chance at me deciphering " I ask this because in need, legally it's impossible to pawn a smartphone."

If this doesn't gain a little traction, would you be willing to lower the price a bit and sell it outright to me?
1231  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 8x Satori Coins Serialnumbers >22750 on: September 12, 2018, 03:14:15 PM
It looks like all of these coins were funded by the same transaction, and all only have that single transaction in their history. Yet, some of the coins have Super Bitcoin, and some of them do not. Can you help me understand why that might be?

Specifically :

022736
1Q6sxgAvsKM4xFXqSogpRB5KaA4Rk5HxrB

022721
19PybHNfvXG2muju7eMs5a5XnJQ3eaBQKL

Are missing Super Bitcoin and I can't figure it out.

Must've just been an API hang-up or something. Was showing it wrong, but now it's there.. It was showing the amount of Super Bitcoin as 0, not the $ amount, but the amount of Super Bitcoin. I appreciate all the info though krogo, it's been very helpful.
1232  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 8x Satori Coins Serialnumbers >22750 on: September 12, 2018, 02:48:47 PM
Can someone clarify (not that it is imminently important), due to the serial numbers of these coins does that mean they do not have Bitcoin Gold? I read somewhere that it was like serials 30000-50000 that have BTG.
None of them have any imperfections, do they? (wrinkled stickers, scratches, etc.)

I'll bid 0.051BTC and we'll be using Minerjones or another reputable escrow if I win. I'm not supposed to be buying anymore collectibles, but maybe I can make an exception.
1233  Economy / Lending / Re: [LOAN] need 35$ on: September 12, 2018, 02:20:27 PM
I asked you a couple of extremely specific, closed-ended and pointed questions that you completely avoided just to say "why not help me?" Well, the answer is "I'm not a charity." That tells me that you're just looking for a handout and have no genuine intentions behind this loan request.

You said you are unaware of what would qualify for collateral, but that only means that you have neglected to read the stickied thread at the top of this very section. For example : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.0

Our good pal Vod explains within that post what is and isn't valid collateral :

What is considered collateral?

Collateral is something that can easily be resold to cover the loan value plus interest should the loaner default on the loan.

- The best collateral is another crypto-currency, such as Ethereum (also written as ETH).  Coins must be moderately traded on multiple exchanges.
- Some digital wares such as domain names can be considered as long as the user cannot recover it.
- Small valuable items that can be shipped though the mail - i.e. gold, silver, iphones, etc.
- Large items, such as a motorcycle or guitar can be used if you live close to the person giving you the loan.  Try localbitcoins.com

What is not considered collateral?

- Merit.  Bitcointalk Merit is not a commodity and is not meant to be traded.  Asking or doing so may get you negative trust (Trade with Extreme Caution!)
- Items they want to sell.  They don't want it back, so they will default.  It's scammy unethical behavior and will lead to negative trust.  Check their recent posts!
- Items not in hand.  Don't trust a user that promises to give you something *when* they default!  Tracking numbers only show something has been mailed - it could be an empty box.
- Future income.  You can prove you'll make xx coins in the next few days, but nothing forces you to send those coins to pay your debt.
- Identification.  So what if they can prove who they are.  Are you going to spend more money and time taking them to court on untested legal grounds?  You'll probably just walk away, like everyone does.  ID is useless.
- Games codes or similar.  To verify the collateral you need to use the code, which destroys the collateral.  Consider this a purchase, not a loan.  (Post in Digital Goods instead)
- Most new alt-coins or alt-coins that trade for satoshis are not good collateral as they can become worthless overnight.
- Most pre-coins/tokens are worthless, or may take significant time to be worth anything.
- Paypal should never be used - they are anti-bitcoin and will rule against you 100% of the time.  Escrow can't even help, as paypal charge backs can come over six months later!
- Most valuable online accounts can easily be recovered by social engineering (the user contacting support to say they were hacked, and regain control of the account)  Examples:  Steam
1234  Other / Meta / Re: What would happen if I changed my name? on: September 12, 2018, 02:16:18 PM
i thought was a thread opened by a newbie.

You haven't even been here a year and you want to act superior, that's pretty interesting. Which part of the OP makes you think that the thread was opened by a Newbie?

honestly i don't understand the point of opening these "my little diary" threads in here. Roll Eyes

This thread has a very specific purpose and asks a very specific question. I don't understand the post of replying with these "my little diary" posts. The thread is no better off now that you've become a part of it. You have contributed nothing and substantiated nothing.

Now, replying to the main question at hand.. I doubt it would change anything around here for you. A lot of people like to think that their namesake carries a reputation with it, but more realistically we would treat anybody that acts the same as you, the same as we treat you. We aren't giving you special treatment due to your name, so even if everyone forgot who you are you would be able to operate similarly to how you do now. I wouldn't be too worried about changing my name due to the circumstances you've outlined, but if you feel the need to then I wouldn't worry too much about that, either.
1235  Economy / Lending / Re: [LOAN] need 0.0035 btc on: September 11, 2018, 07:36:05 PM
You have already received negative trust for asking for a loan without valid collateral. Now you are asking for a loan without valid collateral again (your account does not count). Collateral is at least 120% of the value of the loan you are asking for; your account is not worth anywhere near what you are asking for. Your account is without value. Also, you say you need .0035BTC then say you need $35... These are not the same thing.

Why in the world do you need $35 for a meal? I can cook up Steak, Macaroni Salad and get some Fruit/Nuts for like $10.

Please, nobody fill this loan. Not that I think anybody would be foolish enough to do so, but just as a common sense warning.
1236  Other / Meta / Re: Which discussion board to visit to really learn about cryptocurrency? on: September 11, 2018, 06:51:11 PM
If you are only finding topics that are "the same" then that seems to imply that you've read through them all and are tired of them. So, if you have all of the information from these threads then you should be pretty educated in terms in cryptocurrencies, or at least Bitcoin. Reading through the Development & Technical Discussion would probably be a great place for you to formulate pointed questions or conceptual questions and get the balling rolling. If you want to learn something about cryptocurrencies, simply decide what you'd like to learn and do research on that topic.

Do you understand how mining works, sending a transaction or generating a private key? If not, I would read more about these topics.
Have you read the original Whitepaper published by Satoshi?
1237  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 📦 Spazzer's Stockpile of Collectibles 📦 on: September 11, 2018, 06:07:20 PM
The Corn Flakes are hilarious. Was there ever a list of the 10-addresses posted, to verify that they've remained untouched, secure and ensure that there is indeed an address with 1BTC? I'm worried that there just was never a bitcoin in there to begin with, but I don't know all the steps in production/publication that have lead up to the release.

Since you say you are not actively looking to sell these items, does that mean you are not interested in much price-negotiation?
1238  Economy / Goods / Re: [Raffle] Huawei P10 32gb 2017 - Tickets 0.003 BTC on: September 11, 2018, 01:31:47 AM
I'll take the slot "e", been in the market for a Huawei lately. Been having a strange time getting one reliably in USA. How did the phone manage to accumulate small scratches from daily use, and managed this daily use without a charger? Cheesy

Ah well, I suppose chargers aren't that expensive anyways. Might grab another ticket or two depending on the interest and how quickly it fills up.

I have $100 BTC that I'm looking to exchange. I would settle for $90, but I would prefer $100 if you are able to exchange just a bit more and save me the trouble of a second exchange. Shoot me a PM if you're interested either way.

Slowly I am pulling the cards off that rack. Hopefully none of these cards have to end up on Ebay, I'm working my hardest against such nonsense.
Those racks are lookin' pretty empty Wink

Any chance you want to sell that Mobo and a power supply (probably should've asked before, oops)?
