1121  Other / Meta / Re: @Theymos - can I have your input please? on: October 05, 2018, 03:47:44 AM
I think this reason this has gone over a week without a reply from the intended audience even after sending them a similar PM can only be for a few different reasons. I would imagine that the most likely is that like BTCforJoe has said, it is unclear what you are asking. I don't know what kind of input, permission or benefit of the doubt you're asking for so it's possible that hilarious and theymos do not either. On top of that, it's entirely possible that they deem your request for input as unimportant; not in a rude way, but in such a way that they need to be pragmatic about their priorities.

[Auction] EVGA 1080TI ICX 11GB

Up for auction today we have a never registered, perfectly clean and operational 1080TI GPU. It is an EVGA ICX 1080TI and it hashes wonderfully. I take great care of my cards and only purchase them new or from others that take equal care of their cards. I am willing to accept escrow or sort shipping through a re-shipper such as minerjones. Any other questions, comments, concerns or bids feel free to post them below. There is no BIN, so go nuts.

Bid Increments:.0025BTC

End date and time:Friday, October 12th 11:59:59 AM

1123  Other / Meta / Re: Should merit source distribute all sMerit? on: October 05, 2018, 02:50:56 AM
In case of our local board, circulation of Merit is getting decreasing very much.

Circulation of merit is decreasing around the entire forum and not exclusively your local board.

I am not sure whether it is better for Merit Source to actively distribute the merit or not

It does not matter whether you are sure or unsure on this matter, because it is not your place to tell merit sources how to distribute their merit. These people were chosen because their ability for discernment is up to par with the expectations of theymos. They have their own criteria, and will merit the posts they feel are deserving of merit.

I hope our local board will be more active.

This is the issue, not that the sources are not distributing their merit, but that there is not enough activity warranting of merit distribution.
1124  Other / Archival / Re: [WTB] Graphics cards in EU (RX580, 1070, 1080ti etc) on: October 05, 2018, 12:50:52 AM
I would be willing to take less than I see you being offered in here. Shooting you a PM with a price to see if you're interested, even with VAT or whatever dues are required.
1125  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin Apparel, Get Em While They're Hot! on: October 04, 2018, 06:17:24 AM
A re-shipper would be either a person or a company that routinely forward packages for various purposes. Somebody like minerjones (who is a reputable escrow) runs Mantis Prime, which handles this kind of thing. They can operate as an escrow or simply a shipper that knows what they are doing when it comes to getting packages to their destination safely and efficiently. That question is not off-topic, so please do not feel bad.

I can ship apparel without a problem to EU, but for added security it's possible to arrange it through a re-shipper, but it also involves an additional shipping charge along the way.
1126  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] Satori Chips, 2 Sets of 5, Both Flavours, Ends October 3 on: October 04, 2018, 06:05:49 AM
I have paid for my winning bid with shipping cost included and sent you my shipping address as well. Obviously there won't be any escrow needed; looking forward to getting my handful of Satori Smiley

PM'd you the TXID, for validation.
1127  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling GTX 1080 MSI Gaming X, Brand New 290$ shipped on: October 04, 2018, 03:49:00 AM
I'm disgusting because I'm attempting to get a good deal on hardware that nobody else is interested in buying at the asking price. Please explain that one to me. I don't see either of you taking up their offer, and are simply using this as an attempt to morally elevate yourself undeservedly. People bought more cards than they should've, now they're collecting dust and nobody is interested in buying them; sounds like a buyer's market, so why would I screw myself on price? I buy cards all of the time, and am not desperate to overpay for a second-rate card.

All of that aside, I haven't even made an offer on this card and simply told OP that they need to lower their prices if they're going to get anyone interested in buying, not just me. None of your replies have added anything to the conversation except a showcase of ignorance.

This bill gator guy is such a horrible disgusting human being.

Just quoting this for reference. Any reason why 3/5 of your last posts have been following me around to make thoughtless comments once a week?
1128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Feedback request on Bitcoin Forecasting Price Weekly Videos on: October 03, 2018, 07:37:02 PM
Seems a shame that nobody has been willing to throw you some constructive criticism, or at least their perspective as a potential client. I think the lack of viewership is going to be a complex issue, but after watching your video I've come to a couple of conclusions. Your forecast and price prediction was extremely unclear, and if you are marketing this as a forecast or price prediction I would expect there to be price points, dates, times and predictions.

For me, there is an endless sea of people that claim they can understand the patterns of the charts and that they are able to interpret the bars in magical fashion. It is mostly like staring at the clouds or stars and asking yourself "What do you see?" Surely you will find a pattern or image, but that does not prove it's practicality. I would like to see your information being enacted towards trades, positions, and kept track of so we can see the success of your forecasts and follow along if we so choose.
1129  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling GTX 1080 MSI Gaming X, Brand New 300$ on: October 02, 2018, 07:40:43 PM
That's funny, telling your one perspective customer to not reply back. Do you honestly think that is going to serve you well while attempting to sell this card? It's not likely that being rude is going to make anybody jump at your card. Literally all I said was that there is the same card for $300, because you're lying to everyone claiming that you have the cheapest card on the market. Then suggested that you drop the price a bit more, before the market price drops even further and you are left holding the bag. Not that I care, but dropping the price consistently above market price is going to make your card gather more and more dust.

Nice to know that you are arbitrarily barring me from purchasing your card.

Nobody wants this ? F##K ME !

I wonder why. Cheesy

you're getting on my nerves

Calm your pedantic nerves, then.

i won't sell it to you even for 500$

What a coincidence; I wouldn't buy it from you for $300.

please don't reply back

No can do. I don't take orders from clowns on the internet.
1130  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] GTX 1080 MSI, Brand New 300$ on: October 02, 2018, 05:18:07 PM
You're getting closer, but I'm still being patient on this one. There's 1080's up for $300 on Ebay, and if there's any loss of performance or other undesirable characteristics the buyer is protected. You've gotta drop it a little more before you get a bite.

1133  Other / Meta / Re: Racism and bigotry on: October 01, 2018, 02:14:24 AM
Quite honestly I'm surprised that even that many people think that unsavory opinions are grounds for punishment. We've had over 20 people vote in the poll and over 1/5 of them believe that bigotry should be a ban-able offense. We've got some work to do around here to explain foundational principals.
1134  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $$$ CRYPTO DOMAINS NAME, ALL BIN $$$ on: September 30, 2018, 10:44:25 PM
I agree that this doesn't belong in the Services section, but I also believe this thread would be more fitting if it were placed in the Digital Goods section, rather than this section. It can be found here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0

You are entitled to your opinion, because they are worth as much as somebody is willing to give you. I do not know what everyone is willing to give you, so you may be right and it may be worth holding onto your domains. I just wanted to give my opinion as well, in case you were open to adjusting your prices or selling them as a list. Good luck with sales, please let me know if you are able to sell any of these, as I am very interested to keep up with that.

Who decides what is Racist or Bigoted?

We already have enough rules so that whatever you would believe is Racism or Bigotry should either be relevant to the conversation, substantial in some manner or is already against the rules.

Quote
1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. [1][e]

2. No off-topic posts.

3. No trolling.

8. No threats to inflict bodily harm, death threats.

9. Discussions in the main boards must be in english. All other language discussions should be posted in the appropriate Local board.

Q: Someone insulted me. Why aren't you deleting his post/thread?
A: Possible (since we don't have the time or resources to check) insults are also allowed as long as they contain any kind of constructive opinion, info or something else substantial and aren't off-topic. For example, posting something like "you are dumb" will be deleted as it contains no meaningful content. However, if the post is somehwere along the lines of "You are dumb. This is wrong because this website/thread/etc. has explained it's not right", it's in most cases accepted.

Freedom of Speech requires that you accept the fact that there are opinions held by those surrounding you that you will dislike. Freedom of Speech is specifically meant to protect unpopular and offensive opinions; there need be no protection for speech you agree with.
1137  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $$$ CRYPTO DOMAINS NAME, ALL BIN $$$ on: September 30, 2018, 04:43:35 PM
I think you are asking for way too much on each of these domains. Almost none of them are of high enough quality that anybody would pay a premium for them. The one news domain is alright, but nothing special worth $10,000. I would say that you are more likely to get about 1% of your current asking price(s), especially considering the current market conditions and coin-clenching that is going on.
1138  Economy / Reputation / Re: marlboroza, please remove negative trust on: September 30, 2018, 03:57:05 PM
sashaabc, it might be advisable to handle these matters via PM; especially considering the fact that it is just a single individual with which you are making this appeal. On another note, it seems like you've done something similar in the past and marlboroza changed their negative to a neutral to allow for a second chance. Deleting the evidence doesn't make your actions any less egregious, but only serves to justify the utilization of archive.is

They've already explained that your negative trust will remain, and so now I can only expect this thread to spiral downwards into nonsense. I would lock the thread, change your behavior and talk to marlboroza in a year or so to see if they'll acknowledge your change in behavior for a 3rd chance.
1139  Other / Meta / Re: The merit does not come? on: September 30, 2018, 03:35:18 PM
Litereally the next post from your account after creating this thread was as follows :

you piece of shit, badmouthing this guy for promoting an ICO? Your promoting a fucking gambling website that steals money from people.  Your a real piece of shit hypocrite.

Insults, misrepresentation, profanity, misspelling, poor grammar and the list goes on. Why would anybody merit this? This is representative of your entire post history.

Then you sit here baffled that you are struggling to move up the ranks. You routinely insult other users on faulty or non-existent logic. You are consistently crass, unpalatable and vulgar in such a way that isn't even close to humorous. You put out one-line posts that bring nothing to the conversation and only seek to troll around while being rewarded for it.

If you truly want merit then you're going to have to completely reshape your behavior around the forum. Merit is not even something that's important, so you should be worried about something that is actually a priority; something like being a contributing member of the community, learning how bitcoin works, or providing a good/service to the forum. There are endless ways to provoke merit into your direction, but none of them are gimmicks and all of them require behavior to change.
1140  Other / Archival / Re: [WTB] Graphics cards in EU (RX580, 1070, 1080ti etc) on: September 30, 2018, 02:56:55 PM
I am based in the US, but I have a few 1080TIs that I would happily take offers on. You still might be able to get a better deal from me, including the import duties than you would from somebody else based in the EU. No guarantee, but might as well take a peek down the rabbit-hole.

I have 1080TIs, and a few cases/mobos, but they cases and mobos are probably not worth anyone's time.
