701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 12, 2016, 11:58:05 AM
With finex now offering eth from monday it seems that this would be a good time to pump monero up to new highs and widen the story to an alt-coin bubble..

Please do Grin

I placed my bids before bed based on the anticipation of some dumps due to ETH madness that would cause the removal of the 250 buy wall.  My highest bid was nibbled netting me 1.xxxxxxxx XMR  Cheesy

Price is now above freezing which makes me feel like a donkey between to equally spaced piles of hay.

Placed some bids all over the place, need to make up for the boat, and off to early bed.  Goodnight Monkey Smiley

Indeed premium is typical of ATMs and online brokers (they have some advantages over exchanges, you pay for that difference).
But "387.064831 minimum purchase", that's really nuts...

I haven't checked them in a while.  Sometimes there were decent deals and sometimes not so much.  I can't use them anymore due to my stupidity.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 12, 2016, 02:31:20 AM
ETH up to 0.029. Will XMR price move up accordingly?

They are babbling in the Polo troll box about some ETH "news" but I have no idea if it is actually a thing.  The Monero sells started when ETH started going up so.........

EDIT:  43K buy wall back at 250, what do I know  Embarrassed
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 12, 2016, 02:25:44 AM
As suspected when the sells got close the 43K wall was pulled.  Once again big wall = fake Grin

I have 2 confirms on my deposit Undecided
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 12, 2016, 12:45:36 AM
Monerodice has the option to deposit via ShapeShift.  Bullish Grin
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 12, 2016, 12:40:49 AM
volume down, sell wall pulled, 43K buy wall at 250, current price 260.

I don't know what to make of these changes.

No more btc on exchange.  Wondering whether to send more.  btc blockchain currently not being spammed.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 11, 2016, 07:48:55 PM
Cash to XMR is already available using AltQuik (sp?) as long as you are not in New York

everything is about pool hashrate and luck Wink

the pool has nearly 10% of total hashrate and that's almost impossible Sad

So you are saying it's possible! Grin

Did you forget to mention the 14 consecutive blocks that were found quicker than avg yesterday?  This included 4 consecutive blocks @ 4%, 5%, 9% and 10% of the avg time.

anything between the freezing point of water and mercury is a good buy

what I can't figure out is why when people step on an escalator they become paralyzed

ok here.  another slow day at work.

i give up

you keep believing that on avg blocks are only 50-75% full

Aww there's your problem, using the wrong terminology. What you mean to say is median blocks are above the average 50-75% full. So technically if you were using proper terminology Adam, you could both be correct.

Median versus Average

i mean typically blocks are full there are some special cases where blocks aren't but this has nothing to do with lack of TX to include.

nioc has been waiting 12 hours now...
it's likely his 8000byte tx will never confirm
dont try to use your fancy statistics to prove somthing that is so obviously false.

Median versus Average what is this sorcery?   Cheesy yes yes i know the diff between Median and Average -_-

4 confirmations!!!!!!  WEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Thank you BitClub Network whoever you are Kiss

Nioc: 15m.

Looks to me like equilibrium will be around room temperature Kelvin for a while, if the fireworks are over now.

My room temp is 298K, must be cold in your office  Wink

Looks like aminorex was just a little ahead of us, what else is new Wink

Monero's current temperature is 298 Smiley

while writing it be rising

They are new to btc so I guess they are ignorant about it's best use, another problem with btc.  However they are honest and I'll get the $ owed to me.  I'll probably get the same amount of btc as they are trying to send me but yeh the kool aid Tongue  You just want me to buy more btc Grin  I thought getting paid btc from my second job was doing just that.  They aint being converted to fiat.

Edit: @NLC I have no idea what they use.  It looks like they were taught that 0.0001 was a standard fee.

717  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 09, 2016, 11:22:33 PM
adam I put that info in my edit.  A little over 8000 bytes

i think they should have paid like 0.005 in fees

this TX might just get dropped out after 48hours of sitting in the mempool.... ( i think thats how it work ? )

I believe it's 72 hrs.  How will I know when it gets dropped?

The exchange rate they used was $410.xx
What this means is that it will get dropped in another 2 1/2 days during which time btc will go up and I will get less btc.  Undecided  Time to buy Grin Grin  Why do I always think/feel like this Huh

It's been 9 hours and not one confirmation.  It seems that something other than just the business of the network might be going on.  There has been room in some blocks recently.  Maybe somebody could shed some light on what is going on, it would be much appreciated.  The fee paid was 0.0001 and the transaction was comprised of 21 inputs.  I get the following from blockchaindotinfo...........

Estimated Confirmation Time    Within 6 Blocks (Medium Priority)

It also had a "Confirmation Warning" as follows

"The transaction fee is less than recommended"
"This transaction has a none standard input"

I guess they mean "non standard"

Edit:  I just noticed the size of the transaction.  Over 8000 bytes  Shocked Shocked
These people sending don't know what they are doing
720  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 09, 2016, 07:09:59 PM
wow biggest block i have ever seen 999.91KB

there 215$ if fees in this block
 a few tx have a fee >2$

oh look i found happen to see an even bigger block today 999.92KB

Did you miss the one that was listed as 1000.00KB on blockchaindotinfo?

I have 8 credit cards that I hardly use, I use btc more often.  My last 2 out going and 1 incoming payments last week went just fine.  I was just wondering if something was currently going on with the network.
