Zverev suffered a surprising defeat by Ruusuvuori, World number 83, in the Miami Open, losing 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 to the Ruusuvuori.
This surprising defeat happened at the Miami Open tennis tournament.
Zverev is a great tennis talent but he still seems to lack consistency and stability in the game.
It will probably come with more experience in tennis matches.

I think this adds to my point in my previous post about the top ranked players starting the tournament in the later rounds. This is why we see so many upsets in these tournaments over the years and will continue to see upsets in the future. Alex de Minaur 15th seed and 13th Cristian Garín also lost but its great to see Raonic and Tsitsipas make it through to the next round.

Just over a week ago, Zverev won the Acapulco Open and now he is out. This year is really full of surprises as there are a lot of upsets, except for Grand Slams.

I do hope that Tsitsipas will make it to the finals, he lost to Zverev in the last tournament, it's a tough lost but I'm sure it will just make him stronger in this tournament.

A lot of suprises every tournament, look at Dubai Karatsev won his first ever tournament easily. Zverev is probobly tired from the last tournament and should now focus on clay because of rolan garros. But the big 3 will win everything again, probobly not Federer but Djokovic is in great form and Nadal is the king of clay.

Personally, I was delighted by the news of the great return of the young Croatian tennis player Ana Konjuh after a severe and long-lasting injury.
This young girl has not given up on her tennis career and seems to be on the verge of returning to the top of world tennis after a magnificent victory against the winner of the French Open Iga Swiatek.
''World No.338 Ana Konjuh has progressed to the round of 16 at the Miami Open after defeating Iga Swiatek 6-4, 2-6, 6-2.''
4 years ago she was a great hope of world tennis until she was stopped by a serious injury.
Magnificent return, bravo Ana!

This is a good comeback for her, many tennis players have to fight very hard after being injured, her victory over Swiatek is not easy because Swiatek is a tough opponent.

The match between Kei Nishikori vs S. Tsitsipas quite interesting to watch later today, Tsitsipas is the favorite to win this match because he is the seed in this tournament, but Nishikori will be his tough opponent for him, my predictions this match will be held in 3 sets.

How unlucky is Marton Fucsovics!!?? Just during his last meeting with Rublev(which was their 3rd of this year already). He said he hopes they dont get to play each other again this year and guess what? The next tourney itself. 3rd round. Fucsovics vs Rublev. 4th time this year! Its been 2-0 in 2 of them with Rublev winning and one was withdrawal. Lets see how the next meeting goes. I think they both play similar style of tennis with both having some solid striking and good movement around the court. Rublev has slightly better movement and counter attack and thats where he wins most of his points. Would be interesting to see what Fucovics does differently this time to at least win a set..if not the match.

Yes unbelievably unlucky for Marton Fucsovics, I just heard that he plays Andrey Rublev.

I like Marton, I like how he is unbelievably focussed and doesnt show much emotion, contrary
to Andrey who does show his emotions - regularly.

It will be interesting to see how he plays Andrey this time.

Another player I like who has a cool persona is Jannik Sinner. He had a good win today against
Khachanov, he suffered with the heat but was able to take the second set with a tie break and take
the third 6-4

Fucsovics is in excellent form lately with couple of good wins, showing that he earned his place in the top30 players in the world for sure
Rublev also playing an amazing start of the season so far as well.Khachanov still cant find his form from a few years ago almost always losing lately.Sinner should be the leading player for Italy. Also a really young player with a great future in front of him.

I agree, Sinner has a great future, up tomorrow again against Ruusuvuori which I expect him to win.

Fucsovics V Rublev up later today along with some other big name match ups. Looking forward to these two

Another upset on the WTA tour as Ons Jabeur finally beats  Sofia Kenin after 4 consecutive losses against Kenin in 2019-20. Medvedev with a close and long match 2hrs 40 mins against the up and coming Popyrin..but comes out as a winner. Has Cilic completely lost his game? Its kinda sad to see losing to youngsters and not even making it to the latter stages of the tournament. He was once a US Open champion and a player who's very hard to defeat on Hard court.

Good matches on the WTA Miami Open with Azarenka vs Barty, Kvitova vs Svitolina, Vondrusova vs Sabalenka, Andreescu vs Muguruza to end it.

It's already round of 16 in the women's side.

Muguruza already won here match against Kalinskaya, losing the first set, so she has to catch up the two sets, 6-4, 3-6,4-6 come from behind victory.

Kvitova vs Svitolina will be the next interesting match in the next 3 hours. And so is Barty vs Azarenka, but I think Barty in three sets.

Sinner did a good job yesterday he is a promising one indeed but i think khachanov is a bit out of his form this year he didnt make it far in the tournaments he was in but i still think sinner will win against rusuvuori because i've seen him against zverev and i was shocked by zverev performance.

That is the type of info I like to read. I did not watch the match and I thought Rusuvouri was good but if it was bad Zverev performance than I am much more happy to bet against him Smiley

Cilic played first good match in forever against Musseti just now. Is it maybe a small inkling of him getting back to form?

Its good to see Kei Nishikori back and playing well again but in around 2 hours from now he will face he's biggest test coming up against Tsitsipas who won he's last match easily while Nishikori had a tough three set match. The top seeds all look in good form so I'm expecting that we see most of them reach the finals. Its still anyone's tournament to win at this stage with no clear cut favourite in my opinion.

What do you think is the true potential of Sebastian Korda? He seems to be low key really really good and I personally think he has the potential to be the top 10. He just beat another in form and Dubai champion Aslan Karatsev. Can't wait for Nishikori vs Tsitsipas starting in an hour and a half.

WTA: Amazing comeback from Svitolina to grind it out a 2hrs 25 mins match against a power house Kvitova. Svitolina lost the first set 6-2 but came back and managed to win the 2nd and the 3rd set 7-5,7-5. Sabalenka, Osaka, Sevastova wiz past their opponents in straight sets respectively. Andreescu vs Muguruza coming soon. Which should be a good watch.

Edit: Again, for the 4th time this year. Rublev beats Fucsovics and this time Fucsovics doesnt even attempt and goes down easy 6-2,6-1.

In 2021 they have met 4 times, 1 time Fucsovics WO, the rest won by Rublev in straight sets.
At their last meeting in Dubai Fucsovics told the Russian he didn't want to play him again this year. However, it is still possible for them to continue to meet in other tournaments.

I think so as you said he showed a good performance against museti as expected considering he did not begin this competition in a great way but i think this is a good sign of him getting some of his form back but he has a difficult match tomorrow against rublev but i think he can at least manage to win a set or show a great performance.

Tsitsipas seems to be cruising, Sonego up next for him which again he should win.
Ranked #2 are we looking at a finalist? you would have to say yes.

I watched the Fucsovics/Rublev match yesterday, it played out as everyone expected,
again Rublev was too strong, Fucsovics looked to be trying different approaches but was
not effective.

Can't wait for Nishikori vs Tsitsipas starting in an hour and a half.
Tsitsipas won this match

Edit: Again, for the 4th time this year. Rublev beats Fucsovics and this time Fucsovics doesnt even attempt and goes down easy 6-2,6-1.
In 2021 they have met 4 times, 1 time Fucsovics WO, the rest won by Rublev in straight sets.
At their last meeting in Dubai Fucsovics told the Russian he didn't want to play him again this year. However, it is still possible for them to continue to meet in other tournaments.

Well Tsitsipas did get a little scare when he lost the second set but he bounced back strong to take the third set 6-1 and win the match. This will hopefully give him confidence leading into the next match. It will be an interesting match as Sonego has been in good form but he hasn't really come up against any real tough opponents yet until now so I also think Tsitsipas will win the match.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

The match has started between Tsitsipas vs Sonego and Stepanos is up already 2-0, hope he can maintain his momentum and his lead because Sonego is dangerous.

Rublev takes the first set against Cilic, I think he will win this match. Unfortunately, Diego Schwartzman lost to Korda, it seems that Diego has somewhat losses his steam this year.

Quarter finals will be Medvedev vs Bautista-Agut, this will be interesting match to watch tomorrow.

This is Quarter finals match:
J. Sinner v Alexander Bublik
D. Medvedev vs BAUTISTA AGUT R
S. Korda vs Andrey Rublev
H. Hurkacz vs S. Tsitsipas

If look at the H2H, H. Hurkacz vs S. Tsitsipas, Tsitsipas was 6-1 ahead, and If he continues to be consistent Tsitsipas can win this match and advance to semis.
This is a player who I think will advance to the semifinals Sinner, Medvedev, Rublev and Tsitsitpas.

As for the ladies side, Osaka vs. Sakkari - Quartefinals
Bianca Andreescu vs Sara Sorribes Tormo.- Quaterfinals

I think it will be Osaka vs Andreescu next for semis;

And then for the other bracket of semis

Barty vs Svitolina

Hard to predict on this one, but I see Barty winning here.
