I've submitted two pull requests. One fixes block check for blake2s and X17, the other fixes difficulty reporting on RPC calls (needed for solo mining).
The boss will review them, then publish the updated wallet.

Thank You Pallas.
Although I'm not a Linux user nor do I mine those algos, I know one day it might be something for windows or scrypt that you work on.
I join the community in thanking you.

Dev contacted them. I assume you contacted them. I also contacted them via support even though I really don't use Yobit that much. I knew people would send coins there before they were ready and create trouble.

Beyond this, I don't think there's much we can do. If you have a mailing address and they happen to be near my house, I'm happy to drive over there and kick someone in the nuts but I doubt they are even in the US.

There have been times on windows wallets (of various coins including verge) when I closed them....they didn't really close. You can check by going to the lower right of the screen where it has "hidden icons" and see if the icon is still there. I will say though when doing a full shutdown any background apps are still force closed.

And yes, you should resynch no problem.

Also, I filed a ticket with Yobit ( I have a chunk of xvG there) using the link where you send them notice about updates and forks shown in p75's post. Gave them the github link, link to the dev's post and asked when we traders' could expect things to start working again.  Roll Eyes

Nice job!

I'm just curious but wouldn't it cause issues if let's say half the network start mining x17 and blake on the new wallet while the rest of the network is on the old wallet rejecting those blocks?

I mean shouldn't the changes happen universally with a fork at block #x for everyone?

Think there is another hard fork planned at block 350000, the changes happen for everyone then, or you get dropped off the network that the exchanges are on (well, besides yobit apparently).
