Yes, an unlucky way to end. I hope he gets that Red Bull drive for next year, he deserves it. I hope that this race isn't the end of his career, it's not the best way to go out. He is much better than Albon, who surely can't retain the seat for next year.

Yes, it was a nice touch. I still think he's overrated as a driver, but let's hope he can return to form next year with the new team.

It was very moving, and I say this as an Italian. After a lifetime of racing, this chapter also came to an end. This year has been particularly intense for almost every sport. Formula 1 remains one of the competitions that excites me the most, and when Vettel said goodbye to Ferrari, after 6 years of being together, it was a blow to the heart. I wish him the best of luck in life.

I am not sure if Hamilton should be back this early, and he has nothing to prove neither so there was actually no reason for him to get back neither. Think about it, dude got sick and had covid, he could still face some troubles with his health (known people who had high fever AFTER their covid became negative) and he is leading the league and already won the championship like a month ago or something, and team already won way earlier, basically everything is done, there is no need.

I think the only reason why he is not standing this one down is to keep Russel out, if he rests for another race he saw that Russel was a great racer and he would have maybe won the race this time and at such early age him winning a rance might mean Hamilton could get Russel instead of Bottas and Hamilton would want to keep Bottas since he just keeps everyone behind and lets Hamilton win.

I agree with you, I think he just came back for some political reasons. It's a little bit disappointing from him because I think he doesn't need to do something like that to remain a great champion.

After next year Gresini racing are not anymore drive races with Aprilia. Aprilia will have a own factory team and i think Grisini will go to Suzuki. Suzuki is thinking of a satellite team from 2022. For Grisini would Suzuki a big step forward.

Hamilton has been known to be a bit "bitchy" for years now, like how many drivers do you know that doesn't even care about what team is saying, if team asks him to box he can ignore and if team asks him to box again a lap later he can still ignore. Dude can call out tires and if he doesn't get what he wants he drives worse and just blames it on the team.

So, the whole team works FOR Hamilton and not with him. Look at almost all other drivers in the league, you will see that they work with their teams and they may have some troubles here and there but it is not as consistent as this. Obviously Hamilton didn't want to give the last race to Russel after seeing how awesome he raced in single race he could, and basically proved the world that Hamilton is a great driver but the car has a much bigger impact on recent years championship than Hamilton.

I haven't understand anything, but it was nice to hear such emotional farewell. This season was very difficult for him, he didn't performed well, but after all I think that Vettel got too much hate. I hope next season we will see old good Seb again in Racing Point.

I don't expect a lot of changes for next year as it will be almost the same car used for season 2020 and they have also reduced the budget for the teams to spend in next season to $145m so I don't expect Ferrari to be anything near to a contender and surely the winner will be a Mercedes driver and most likely to be Hamilton unless something happens unables him to drive under Mercedes.
If he decides to change seats and that is most unlikely it will be something that will rock next season.

He won several races in the first 2 years and fought against a better car till the end in 2 years, if they have a better car they win this is how Formula 1 works.

This year was a massacre but you can't do a thing if FIA bans you to use oil in the GAS, while allows Mercedes to do so (in a different way) and you need to rebuild from 0 the engine in 2 months and you can't touch it for the whole year.

Anyway tomorrow we will have test, I got no info if Ferrari will use the old or the new engine.

One thing that is sometimes overlooked about this season is that Mercedes were so dominant early on that they stopped developing the car and moved their focus onto developing the 2021 car. The expectation was that Red Bull, who were continuing to work on their 2020 car, would start to close the gap as the season progressed. And that's what happened.

Here's a quote from back in early October:

The dominant team and its multiple champion, Lewis Hamilton, will almost certainly continue to keep cruising towards both world championships this year.
"We have not been making any improvements to the car for a long time," team boss Wolff is quoted by Speed Week.
"We have given it a lot of thought, because you cannot afford to prematurely end the development of the current car every season. But we have decided to focus entirely on 2021 and 2022."

I don’t know why we’re discussing about Ferrari’s engine, when their team management has already clarified that there won’t be any major upgrade before 2022. Furthermore like Red Bull I don’t expect Ferrari to challenge for the title next year, but from 2022 I believe that we shall see Ferrari back in title race.

The amount of money put into these things are insane, mercedes spends like 400 million dollars per year, that is not really something you can just let it be, even tires worth tens of thousands of dollars and they change it like its candy. So, the topic is not about which team focuses on next years car better or worse, it is about which team will spend more money.

Let's take this example, if mercedes had time to start working on next car, and not really work on this one, that means they had to pick one, so did redbull as well.

What about having a team that works on this car AND a team that works on next years car? Give another few hundred million dollars and you can multi task both cars at the same time. Obviously it is insane amount of money, it is really not even realistic how much they are spending, I say it is crazy and not worth it honestly, but they do, so it is all about which team can afford to spend the most.

Ferrari already work and test a New engine for next year, and it looks good but i don't think this engine can beat the Mercedes engine.

But it's also good for the other Teams with Ferrari engine, the also have no really Chance to beat a other team than Williams.
