Overall, very pleased with the extra DCR spead in v9. I've had 2 6x470 rigs running it quite nicely for about a week with very few issues. Went from about 3200 DCR to 4800 on 1 rig set at -dcri 30 and about 43-4400 on the other at dcri 26 due to less PSU headroom on that rig.
Anyway, I just got a 3rd 6x470 rig going on this but it's crashed a few times, but mostly only after I went from 4 to 6 GPUs today. Still have plenty of power headroom but it could be something with those last 2 gpus i just added I suppose... still not sure.
However, what I did notice is that when I look in the log files, it's getting a ton of "DCR weak share - skip" errors. I thought maybe this is what was causing the crashes but when i checked log files on the other 2 i see similar rates of this, so still baffled as to why that 3rd rig is crashing... maybe will switch out risers tomorrow.
But... this got me to thinking... it really seems as though the improved hash-rate with v9 hasn't upped my actual DCR earning by anywhere close to the 50% is speed improvement. I thought maybe this was partially due to increasing difficulty but when I plug the numbers into WhatToMine, im coming up quite a bit shorter than I was with v8, relatively. With v8, I was with 5-8% of what WhatToMine said, but with v9, that gap is more in the 20-25% lower range. Can I assume this is because while the hash-rate is pumped up, it's also generating many more skipped shares, so the apparent 50% increase in hash-rate is in actuality, much less than that because of the bad shares?
Just curious if anyone else is seeing this issue and if so, what are you doing to try to fix it?

After installing the creator update for Windows 10, i get the message “ethdcrminer64.exe has stopped working“. In the details it's called “bex64“ error. Anybody out there with similar problems or ideas how to solve this? The regular ethminer.exe is still working. Sgminer is also working as usual. Any hints are appreciated!

Any update on other coins getting new Algo?
I will release new version with ASM for ETH+SIA and ETH+PASCAL within several hours.

Hello all, and thanks Claymore for new miner version! Though, I have a problem and hopefully one can help me about that. I got several rigs of 3x470, 4x470 (4 GB) and 4x470 (8 GB) videocards. After updating the Claymore ETH from 7.4 version to 9.0 I got a strange problem. Decred increased *2, that's a fact, but hashrate of both ETH and DCR became floating. Usually my cards give 21 or 24 Mh/s (nothing is overclocked/modded, all stock) depending on whether its Asus strix 4gb or Sapphire nitro 8gb, but now once in several seconds one or two cards in the rig drops hashrate to 17-18 mh/s on eth and to 400 mhs (instead of usual 600 mhs) on dcr. That's how Afterburner log looks like: http://img.imgland.net/aT4LZLU.pngon 7.4 there were no peaks, no nothing. ASM is ON. If I turn ASM off - everything's fine. But hey! Isn't it all about ASM = on and having *2 DCR increase? Windows 7 / SSD / 16 GB Virtual RAM / Latest drivers. If anyone has such a problem and solved it - I'd be grateful for help.

Hey guys. Im confused for a long time. Been mining only eth on my 1st rig with 6*rx 470s doing 168 Mhs. Rig is on 1kw psu and consuming 860 watt at the wall. I think its about max power limit of psu but id like to do dual mining another coin as well. Could you plz answer, if i run dual mining, can i stay below 1kw power hugry situation and do more prof. then eth only? And what coin is to be ?

Added to OP: - AMD cards: On some Polaris cards you can notice non-constant mining speeds in dual mode when ASM mode is used; you can also see in GPU-Z that memory controller load is not constant, it drops for a few seconds. This issue is related to hardware and I cannot find any good workaround for now. Try to increase "-dcri" value a bit, it will reduce ETH speed a bit, but speeds will be much more stable.

I apologize if this has been asked before (probably has). On dual mining Claymore software like ETH/SIA (for example), if one of my miners has 6 cards, with 2 dual mining and 4 single mining, how will I be charged? Will I be charged 2% on all six? Or will I be charged 2% on two and 1% on four? Thanks for your reply and patience with any redundant questions.

Added to OP (FAQ section): As soon as you enable dual mining, devfee is 2% for all cards. But you can start two miner instances and split cards between them to get 1% on first instance and 2% on second.

Not bad try, but shows only ETH hashrate, not dual mining DCR etc... Also second server is not showing maybe due to long length... Time - it is not clear if it shows minutes or hours... Can it display any notification when miner goes offline or temperature is too hot? "Set time" you have "munites" instead of minutes

I have a rig with 6 RX 480
What should driver should I use?
Sometimes I mine ethash (ethereum). Sometimes I mine equihash (zcash).
Obviously I can't change driver everytime I switch.
What driver should I use that's best for both?
Where can I download both of your miner? I didn't see windows version of the miner in drive link.

I use 16.9.2....believe me I've spent hours trying many drivers.

One little question. Since I started using my PC to mine while I'm not playing, would a custom rom have any downsides for gaming?
The answer is no. They are faster.

Dear Friends
What parameter do I use to specify the video card I want to use?
Because I just want to use the "GPU 0"
Thanks Almir Fiorio

Look at the -di parameter on the first post, it explains how it works.., -di 0 for example.
