How do you get in on this distribution for later today with the Transition Bot down?  I just installed Byteball and not sure what to do next?   I don't have much BTC but want to try it anyway.  Thanks.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

don't panic and let's wait a bit more

fees are only charged in GB ?

Yes, fees for blackbyte transfers are charged in bytes. Make sure you have a few thousand of them in your wallet!

I have a few questions first is there anyway to restore my wallet from the seed if not how do I delete paired devices also is there a way to unlink the btc address for the wallet I can't access by way of signing another transaction thanks

Restoring your wallet from the seed only restores bytes, if you want to restore blackbytes, either use the full backup option and restore from it, or use a backup of your data directory.

For the time being, deleting paired devices and unlinking linked addresses are not available.

You can delete paired devices directly in the sqlite database (if you know what you are doing).

Hi guys,
just an idea what do you think for a decentralized  app running over TOR like the OpenBazar using the anonymous blackbytes as the currency for the decentralized market, surely overtime it will add value for balckbytes and byteballs

I don't know if the devs (or someone else) are working on something similar, can you or do you know someone who can/is working on it? In this case, if you are looking for financing from the community fund, then maybe contact one of the trustees.

not i don't know anyone working on it,it was just an idea obviously it won't be an easy task,if byteball members here agree on the idea may be we can crowdfund it by donating to the community fund and hire some reputable freelancers to do the job, as i said it won't be an easy task but everything start with one step,so if you byteballers here and community fund management think and agree the idea will help in the developement of byteball let's crwodfund the idea and let tonych and the comunity fund management hire some reputable freelancers to do the job.

blackbyte as monero is untraceable ..it's a problem..smart contract must to be developed of way to use it in all anonymity..before all apply.

byteball can do better in this way.

Why would bytes do better for such an application? Yes there's still work needed to bind payments to other things, however, for the time being nothing favors the use of bytes instead of blackbytes for a peer-to-peer marketplace.

The transition bot is now up, I assume this was your only issue? Otherwise, go to byteball.org, pair with the bot by clicking on chat with the transition bot, say hi, and it will walk you through the steps to link you addresses.

Is blackbytes also byteballs? Why they have different names, and do you know the differences between these coins? Thanks.

Question from a Byteball-newb: What files do I backup to be able to restore the wallet on another computer (i.e. 'wallet.dat' in other coins) ?

TIA - psycodad

Or it is just the snapshot time, and the new coins are distributed later?

I don't see new coins, has new distribution been done yet?

It was stated that it can take up to one day for distribution of coins after the snapshot, which was done @ March 12, 2017 at 14:54 UTC.

I think yes, but I personally would wait until dev officially announces the successful snapshot.
