I see no reason for such a fast pump.
No news at all. Better than IOTA in some aspects? Scaling? We all knew that before.
This is just another pump and someone are making money on you. For ones who are holding this is your chance to sell, don't be stupid - sell.
How long are you going to hold it forever?

p.s. Please don't say stupid things that I'm a fudder and want to buy cheaper. I'm not going to buy any bytes.
I just noticed price spike and wondered was there any news? Nothing. Ok got it.
Yes, it feels like a whale initiated that pump but the thing is IOTA dumpers are migrating to ByteBall and eating those sell walls up

Maybe. I'm not invested in IOTA but its chart looks pretty bad. After the bubble comes the bear. Nice to see byteball getting a bid for once. Unlike many who only hold free coins, I have bought in at various different price points but even with this pump, so far still sitting on a loss (in bitcoin terms, perhaps I'm up in fiat). Ah well. Nothing to do but hodl I guess. I can be patient.

...or could this "bubble" just be a burst towards the massive correction awaiting Byteball? That would be about time. GBYTE is worth at least $1k+ IMHO, especially given the panic buys all over the place.

Byteball is innovative. Byteball uses a DAG. Byteball will skyrocket sooner than later.

Just my 2 sats...

byteball would already be at 20BN + if they had distributed to a handful of people all of whom had interest in colluding to hold up the price.

Instead we gave it all for free to opposing projects to dump to fund their interests.

Also one person holds 50% Of it with no multi sig and no decentralised way to control what happens with it. This project could probably do with some decentralised governance later down the road.

Solve that last one and you are just going to have to wait until the dumpers shift their coins to the hands of believers who will hold to its fair comparative value. It may not take that long if you can get all the noobs on it straight away when they arrive looking for the latest and greatest ...

I only have a tiny amount compared to many here so I am not too fussed but it is a shame to see such a great technical innovation get so little love compared to other turds on here so i am constantly highlighting it in my threads which try to locate real projects.

Unit price needs to be adjusted now asap on coinmarket cap... coinbase and bitstamp have said they are  signing up over 100K new accounts a day each right now...

the swarms of noobs are heading this way they want their 30 cent BB units that will go to da moon.

starting at 300bucks + they can't get too many Sad  so will look elsewhere for their x1000 tokens

This coin will double over 100x in the next months, mark my words.

I don't think 100x, but 10x is absolutely possible. I'm sure Byteball will follow IOTA success. I hold a bit from airdrops Wink

Even 10 x is quite a lot, i would say x5 , but who know what will happens!

well IOTA is now about 100x more expensive then byteball, all that with inferior tech. Even without the publicity stunts and lies that IOTA did, I would still expect 10x. I don't think it's unreasonable. Byteball has waaaay more room to grow.

But still, Byteball is a laggard. Raiblocks went ahead and pumped. I think it is the distribution model which suppressed the GBYTE price since many of the holders received their coins for free.

The distribution model may be not the main reason. NEM is free at the beginning also.

You need to understand that giving to 1000+ members more or less equally is not the same as handing 90% to a handful of whales and opposing project leaders.

Byteball will break the top 10 but will just take longer that it could have

Is the road map available for the next year? How many people are currently developing? I did not find this information on the site.

Agreed, but you can claim the same about most coins. Maybe I'll get to writing to Polo and Binance today, it's a long shot but if they can list Byteball, this would prevent a certain crash if something happens to bittrex.

Yes, Byteball is better than IOTA! It run stable and Dev bring great features and this all without hot air and big partners.
The potential for Byteball is big and its undervalued in my eyes.

Disadvantage is that Byteball is IOTA fork and advantage is the smoothest distribution among alts...

Wtf are you talking about? Byteball is NOT a fork of IOTA! Are you trying to increase your post count with such ridiculous posts?

Actually after doing a bit of research I realized that I was wrong. Thanks for correcting me. Is there any serious articles that compare IOTA and Byteball?
I read this article: https://www.tangleblog.com/2017/01/03/byteball-vs-iota-token/

You could start here - https://byteroll.com/comparison-iota and check out the reddit thread mentioned in there. You could also checkout the reddit threads on r/ByteBall/, if you aren't on slack already. The sub-reddit moderator usually posts all relevant articles.

Can a dev explain me why voting for 12 witnesses is better than automatically assigning witnesses to the biggest wallets. In case of schism/ collusion they lose everything so why trusting democracy instead of those who have money at stake?

Witnesses must post to the DAG. A silent wallet as a witness is pointless (even if it is the biggest).

If you give a spot for the biggest wallet he will join if there is money. If not the sec one will.

Could be. Would need a fork. It is not the way it is designed today.

that is why I am asking why voting is better than common sense.

I wanted to ask, is Rai Blocks also a competitor to Byteball (and IOTA)?

Has anyone bought Blackbytes?

I think it's one of the most underrated, undervalued anonymous cryptos.

I wouldn't be surprised if just takes off one of these days.
