I just got my 2 Jups on friday and been hashing ever since @ ~1030 (one goes up to 550 the other varies between 480 and 550)
I got some question some might be able to help me with:

1. How do you check the temp on the miners?
2. How can i see them hashing (in cgminer)? The process is already running but i don't know how to peek inside.
3. Why are there not more kncminers on BTCGuild? i was under the impression that bigger pool is better yet i see more ppl on 50btc

Here are my miner graphs:

1. My understanding is that you can't see the temps (at least in CGminer) due to no sensors or needing a future yet unreleased firmware upgrade.
2. You can use Putty (or something similar) to SSH into the miner.  Once there use the screen -r command to show the CGminer stats screen.
3. No clue.  I'm on bitminter, you think BTCGuild or 50btc is a better choice?

Yeah, don't stress about it.  What your pool is reporting is what's important.  If that's not broken, don't try to fix it.

the "screen -r" command re-attaches to an already runnning window. Is cgminer always running in its own already running window by default?

I did when I had one of the 4 PCI-E connectors unplugged. Once I plugged it in (while powered down - obviously) it went away.

luck of the roll probably but perhaps they tune Saturns differently... or cooling makes a big impact.

Because of less heat, thus better performance?

Received my Jupiter today. One of the large fans in the back (not the heatsync fans) seems to just not work. Should I not be mining?

There's a script to keep it running when it crashes. It should always be running if you like money.
