did you custom build the rack for your jupiters? or just happened to find one of the same size?

Thanks. Originally I intended to have a separate shelf for the PSUs, but it turned out each PSU next to its miner is the better way.
I even made holes for the cables to pass through the shelves, which are now unused.
I am now thinking to buy some CoolerMaster Megaflow 200mm and put them behind the miners for extra airflow as the height of each shelf is 210mm.

You have six jupiters running through two killawatts? I thought they were only good for 1800w each, looks like you are really pushing it on power!! Does any of that stuff get warm / hot?

F me. Nice. I know what I'm ordering next. I'm running all my rigs on 240 here, as I've got a lot more capacity with those circuits in my building.

Cyper there will be no snow on you this Christmas, you must spend your day walking around in your underpants, surely that heats your house up? Is it not like a sauna in there??

As a side: stupid Laptop configured itself back to UK time, looks like i'll be spending another night in Stockholm! Too late to grab a flight, we were caught up here with this firmware thing. Never mind will go out and find something festive to do, mulled wine or something, idiot boy...Embarrassed

Any changelog?

Mainly the reduced hardware errors on Eligius and the inclusion of the latest release of CGMiner. TBH it's not a complete update, we wanted to give you somerthing by xmas. V isn't happy with labeling it as a complete release, but it's almost 8pm (not 7pm, damned machine clock, argh!!), as he is still to tackle something before he's entirely happy with calling it an update. It doesn't have the additional tuning kit mentioned prior. Mainly Nov boxes will see the greatest benefit.

In any case as always constructive feedback appreciated, enjoy! Happy Hols...ho ho ho!!

@CYPER
How much watt is your plug adapter rated?
2 plug adapter plugging into 1 plug adapter.
6 Jupiters over 1 line?
Do the cable get warm?

I use Brennenstuhl plug adapters with built-in surge protector .
Rated 3500 watt per piece.
At the wall I have another surge protector and a kill a watt installed.
I don't plug more than 2 Jupiters in 1 plug adapter.
Each pair of Jupiters is using 1 line rated 16 A 240 Volt.

I spread my Jupiters over 4 locations in case of fire or any kind of disaster.
Mayby I am a litte paranoid, but I admire your courage to plug 6 Jupiters in 1 line

I've put up a new binary for knc devices based on the new cgminer 3.9.0 that has some fixes for the high hw error on rEligius problem people are having. Note it's not comprehensively better, and to make it work even better, it is much more reliable if you start cgminer with the extra options -q -T (quiet and text only).

http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/kncminer/cgminer

I've noticed higher hashrates overall with this binary, along with substantially lower hardware error rates especially across block changes on any pool.

Thanks conman.  So far it's working well on an October and a November unit.

Why do you think -q -T (which I'm using) gets better results?  Is the BBB not powerful enough to manage the full ncurses interface well maybe?

If you mean the Watt meters, I gave a link above - it's 13A, which is a UK standard, so 3120W.

This is how I run my miners: My flat has 3x 30A circuits - one just for the cooker, which I can hack into if needed and 2x for all the wall power sockets in every room. That is 14400W for all power sockets without any safety margins.
My miners are divided into 2:
3 of them connected to a 1m long Belkin surge protected extension lead, which in turn is connected to a 5m extension lead that goes to a 13A socket.
The other 3 are the same: connected to a 1m long Belkin surge protected extension lead, which in turn is connected to a 10m extension lead that goes to another 13A socket.

So all of then are connected to one of the 30A circuits, using 2x 13A sockets.
Together they consume up to 4.6kW or around 20A.

Current usage:

Current current (I love the english language  Grin):

Awesome, thanks for the info.
I will test it on the November ones first and then on the October ones.
