Its being shameful for being a gambler when your irresponsible in your obligations in your life or family you have.We see it bad when loosing all your money despite of being poor and did not know how to manage your finances at all.

Definitely, If you are unable to fulfill your duties which you should do because they are the compulsory thing and gambling isn’t a compulsory thing.

But, I think that gambling can be a shameful thing and can be not. If the person like you are talking about is gambling to make huge amounts of profits from it, then I think this is a shameful thing because he wouldn’t be able to fulfill his duties but if he plays for fun, I think nothing bad with it.

Tbh, people won't care whether we are gambling for fun or for profit. They only know that gambling is a bad/embarrassing thing hence no matter what is the main reason behind our gambling activities, it will be embarrassed if caught gambling.

Nope I don't feel shameful being a gambler ,
In fact I am proud to be one when my friends and I are talking I often tells them about it.

Don't you afraid that people might strangely look at you when you say that you are gambler?
But yeah, it is much better to go straight and tell them, if you don't tell them and they know that you are gambler they will either make fun of you behind your back or feel sorry for you.

When I just began with my gambling things I really felt ashamed of being a gambler thanks to our Indian hypocrite society which doesn't really embraces you if you are a gambler. But with time I have realized that I am quite a affluent gambler not like the street gamblers. I mean I gamble in cryptos and most of which is online. My real identity is not even disclosed to someone online. So there is no harm in doing gambling and no shame in doing so.

Nah, only because i am not gambling as a badass right now, i am never spending more than $100 per week on gambling, that is why i think that i am a healthy gambler at the moment, i am just doing it for fun.

It's  better you gamble with limits like you are doing and keep it healthy and be responsible at home and i guess there will be nothing to be ashamed of. I've noticed most of the people that are ashamed that they gamble are just irresponsible at home and they don't relate quite well and that's  the reason why they  don't want others to find them in such a condition.

Im not ashame of doing gamble.
Why ? Simply because I dont do anything illegal.
Even if I always gamble, I still follow the rule on the game that I played.
So I dont have anything to shame of.
And aside from that the money that I use on gambling is all my money.
So what the problem? Its my money, and its depend on me whatever I want it to use.

you know it is just normal to play gambling and lost but you should never be ashame on it because you do want it to happen.  you dont also want to keep it as a secret because gambling isnt really a bad thing as long as you do gamble in a right place or in a right time and as long as its legal because there were also an illegal form of gambling that we should indeed keep as a secret if we want to continue it without getting caught by fbi or police.

Our total life is a gamble, may be we don't put money in each bet but We need to take a decision in every steps, either we loose or win. ( the outcome may not be as quick though).We put our reputation,our education, our future,our country event our god in bet.  And there is a house edge(Law of universe LOL ) which you never can beat.
And we are not getting shameful while doing in real life because everyone is doing so and no one says it is wrong. The only bad thing is to harm anybody(including the self ). And if you are too much addicted and harming your self only then it is bad. And why to be shameful?

For me it’s normal to gamble because everyone needs some exhaust and I am not shaming that..   One important thing for me is that you need to be smart gambler (don’t fight with electro machine). It’s better to taste poker or something like the one where you have edge if you struggling hard!  In that case you will not be ashamed because you will be paid and definitely proud!

No i never feel shameful for being gambler.in my country some people also consider gambling as bad thing but i never heard them.i really proud to be gambler beacause many of millionaires also do gambling.my all friends want to learn gambling so also feel proud but my parents don't like the gambling so i hide this from my parents.i think all gamblers hide this from their parents.

Well it depends on where and which society you are living. At some places gambling is considered as a Sin or crime and no body is allowed to paly gambling. At those places, if people find to be involved in gambling, it will be a shameful thing. But in most countries Gambling is allowed and therefore there may be no share to be declared as a gambler.

Indeed, there are different factors which makes gambling a shameful thing (for some people) such as in the community you're living, the culture, religion and beliefs and also the legality of it. But in my opinion, it must be shameful if you became addicted to that it literally affects you psychologically

Its the control factor really, if you centre everything around gambling and exclude normal activity just to gamble then its become a negative for you.   Ignore the emotional considerations just financially, its unlikely to be of any benefit if you only gamble on someone elses terms.    The best thing anyone can do in a losing streak is to walk away and come back when they choose to do so.

It means they regain a better frame of mind and restore their own terms to the game, I think people in control are more likely to win.   Never let the game to play you
