My answer is no, why would I be shameful. I guess it's not a sin and I am not committing a crime either, for others who think gambling is very dangerous, that would only mean that they are not responsible enough to engage in a risky game. What I see is that bitcoin is a form of entertainment and based on experience, I enjoy doing it, so it's not a sin to have fun when you are not hurting others.
I think there is no embarrassing word because what is done there is no one in disadvantage, gambling in my opinion is only pleasure and no one in disadvantage and win or lose only I who enjoy so for what shame and gambling is not a shameful and open sin harm people or make people feel humiliated. |

It is true that many consider it as a bad habit but why do I have to care what do they think ?
Personnally, I consider it as a passion or a hobby, like any other hobby ; Sport, Music, Painting ...
This is my passion, and this is where I have fun. I am loosing a lot of money because of gambling and as a student it causes many problems but I know how to manage my budget.

Maybe I'd be shameful if I'd continue my life with gambling. I'm playing just for adrenaline and enjoy. But in my country, gamblers are seen as shameful people.

Though there are times I do feel ashame as Gambler. Not that I don't feel comfortable but instead I'm afraid what will others say. I've been an addict in the industry though I already get over it. But the fact that most of my friends are still can get over with it. I knew that I have ups and downs, Made some bad decisions that I alreaft regret. So before I play, I tend to overthink up to the point that I feel ashamed on what ever decision I'll make.

I don't feel shameful for being a gamble. Gambling is for me fun and passion. When you are gambling out of control and do anything for gambling is the worst thing if anyone do such thing ofcourse it is shameful only. So we should know our limit to play gambling as well other things also.

If I were a gambler I mean a real gambler, I don't feel any shamed of myself or some other people's surrounds me, coz this is who I am on which this is my passion of my life and without this I guess there's lack of my side.

A very well said. If you are a responsible gambler and know how to limit yourself then how is it shameful? Just gamble for fun and not for profit because gambling for profit is most likely got an empty hand. And don't spent too much of what you have earned especially when you have a family to be fed. |

A very well said. If you are a responsible gambler and know how to limit yourself then how is it shameful? Just gamble for fun and not for profit because gambling for profit is most likely got an empty hand. And don't spent too much of what you have earned especially when you have a family to be fed. There is no shame in some thing that pays taxes to the government and offers employment to its staff who are likely citizens and so why should the player feel ashamed of this ? It leaves me with one option and that is either he stole the money to gamble, borrowed it or lives irresponsibly at home and is afraid of being found out. |

We should not be affected by the opinion of others, if we think we are not doing anything wrong then we should not be ashamed. As long as it's not illegal in your jurisdiction it's not a crime to gamble and there is nothing to be shamed if you did not create a crime. This is a way of entertaining ourselves and we are ready to spend even if we lose money here because the excitement cannot be get from other activities. |
