Gambler dont get shy or ashamed. They are so proud that they gamble a lot. That they lose that big amount. Most of the time they brag about how much they lose and how much they bet. I know, because i tried working in casino. My father is agambler also. They will get sad if they lose but it wont stay long. They will still come back and gamble again. Unless if they lose everything thats the time they will stop or not. Thats the worst thing you know losing everything because of being addicted to gambling.

Correct, Why should feel ashamed because of gambling it's a way of playing games by investing our money by which sometimes will get the money or will lose the money, gambling is legal in many places so playing it shouldn't feel as ashamed. |

Correct, Why should feel ashamed because of gambling it's a way of playing games by investing our money by which sometimes will get the money or will lose the money, gambling is legal in many places so playing it shouldn't feel as ashamed. Some conservative being addicted to gambling is a disgraced. Its like a big deal that you are a gambler. Its actually ones perpective anyway. If you gamble for fun, you lose your money for fun and as long as you are still financially stable after all your lose then i think its no big deal. Just be careful not to be hooked much you might lose all your fortune and thats not ok. Self control is the key. Dont get too hook and remember, most of the gambler lose their money. |

Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consisted gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?

If you can't think about anything else but gambling the whole day and if coming home the first thing you do is turning on the computer to gamble as soon as possible and if after you start you can't stop until your whole balance is lost, then yes gambling is a very bad thing for you. But if you just like to relax gambling for an hour or two and you can stop any time and you don't lose big money with it then there's nothing wrong with that IMO. I quite agree with you that there is need for a gambler to be discipline as per how to gamble as that is what is affecting most addicted gamblers who lost all their money in gambling , even the last amount of money they are suppose to use for their upkeep and family, thereby painting other gamblers as if they are not responsible. Many have through gambling become very rich, while others very poor as well. The ratio is higher for the poor while for those who make it through gambling are few.I am not ashamed to be a responsible gambler. |

Actually it's embarrassing for me to do gambling instead of in casinos. But when i was in casino, there was no such feeling and i could enjoy the game inside.
Then maybe you are enjoying gambling so much that is why you don't feel anything and its okay to enjoy life even through gambling for as long as you will not use anyone's money or owe someone money for the sake of gambling then everything is okay. Enjoying life under every situation is the quality of people with great courage and will. I also have the same motto that no matter what happens, just keep smiling and stay blessed. But I want to add something to your comment that there are many other ways from which you can live and enjoy your life up to the peak, not only gambling because no matter how much you are enjoying your life of gambling, the end is going to be worst. |

I do not think we should be proud because if we have grown up, we will have good thoughts and focus on the future, we will not waste time for gambling, gambling only makes us fall into difficult situations in life, it brings the excitement is too big and that makes us easily lose control. Maybe we gamble for fun and entertainment but gradually the excitement and speed of the game will turn us into other people, we will focus on earning profits and forget the original purpose. Therefore, although we are not ashamed but we should not be proud of it because one day we might become bad people, we will borrow money and hurt the people around us |

It is really this simple: if you are gambling to make more money because you are broke you should be ashamed, but if you are playing only for that adrenaline rush or fun and you know that you by losing that money won't affect you much financially then you have nothing to be embarassed about.

Being a gambler im to shame and so anxiously to lose my money. All i want is to gain more money and win the game,but the biggest thing who make me shame about gambling is to lose my money and not making it back. Being a gambler you must win. The one thing om affraid for is in the government because gambling is an illigal work. In affraid to put me in jail. gambling has a different sides the Legal in which allowed by government those casinos and online gambling that paying big amount and government making big money on that.and about illegal gambling that is prohibited and do not tolerate by the government |

Will in my thoughts there is no shame of being a gamblers as long you are true to yourself and no one person should you offended and tricked.gambling for me is a kind of sport or enjoyment of yourself to take away the stress,coming from our works,so in order to release all your stress you need to be refresh yourself and this is the purpose why you go in gambling,but with limitation.so for me i admit that im a gambler but with control in myself and limits of all things i've done and there's no shame about that my hobbies. |

For me, maybe it's no.. Because gambling is the main habit of all people that really want to relax. Relaxation gives them a peaceful in life. So nothing to make or have a shameful as for being gambler. I think It is depending on the gambler if it is his habit or not, many gamblers aim for the profit and relaxation in playing in it. For us gamblers , playing gambling is not shameful in a very slight of it. We should be proud that we are playing gambling because we can earn money from that , just dont be greedy from playing it and be humble on what you are earning. |

I have never ever done something in my life and felt shame for or after doing it , whatever i do is totally by conviction or total acceptance and agreement of my conscious . And as long as i'm not hurting anyone as long as i'm doing anything (whether it's gambling or any other life activity ) , i won't feel ashamed or sorry for doing it ! I'm using my own money to place on my own speculations for my own pleasure and the ultimate and only winner or looser will be my self and myself only . I'm not risking any money that i can't afford loosing and i'm certainly not using anyone's else money so as long as i gamble i'll never have any feeling except joy .

It is not a bad thing.. gambling is the last tool that a poor guy can use in order to earn more money, and he will lose it all. Those are only stereotyps that the society has built, there are millionaires gambling all their millions in a single game. And i do not feel shameful because i dont like gambling, i only use to play it when i am with some friends or when we go to a casino just to have some fun in there. No gambler should be. It's not something to be ashamed of. I have a little bit different opinion in this regard. Playing gambling can be a shameful activity or can be not. I think if one gambles to make an easy as well as large amount of money out of it or think of it that it is a way of income, then it’s purely a shameful thing because that tends the person to commit a sin and hurt other people also. While, if one gambles just for fun seeking, I think everyone can compromise on it. |

Definitely not. Being a gambler is nothing to be ashamed of. I am playing with my own money. I am not stealing the money from anyone or taking a loan from the bank. So as far as I am concerned, there is nothing to be shameful about being a gambler, unless the activity is banned in your country.
