Do you feel shameful for being a gambler?

I'm not being shameful because its my own money that I spent with my gambling . I don't ask money for anyone just to be able to play gambling. And besides I give some of my won money for my friends as well. And before playing, I made sure that all the bills have been paid already so that eventhough I lost, it will have no effect to the people around me. I think you will be shameful if you played but you have a lot of responsibility to begin, but prioritize gambling in your life. And when you lose you don't know what to do because you have spend all your money in gambling.

I sometimes like to play gambling, but I'm not ashamed of it and I do not see anything wrong with it. Perhaps the feeling of shame is experienced by those who can not stop and lose all the money.

There's nothing to be ashamed of if you are gambling. You should be shameful if you are in the walls of your parents and their money are the ones you keep on using just for your satisfaction in gambling. It's not a man-like thing to do if you do that and you will be feeling shameful eventually upon doing that.

We should be ashamed when we gamble and lose alot of money. After that imagine that we leave the game with nothing but desperation. We are going to have stress, that is why only play for fun so that we dont have to suffer after we lose alot of money especially feeling ashamed about it

yes that is right that we should only feel shameful if we are not playing gambling in a right way.  for example if we are playing gambling without any planning and which is causing us a big lost then we should feel shameful. but i do not think that we need to feel any shame if we play gambling with  planning.

so you think the right way to gamble are when you have a plan and didn't lost big ? i don't think it was that easy and simple. gambling are a complicated way to entertain yourself moreover make money from it. you would need an extreme luck and a very discipline attitude to reach the next level of a gambler which what you called as 'the right way to gamble'

I certainly agree with that matters and it was jus a matter of right decisions to have as a gambler. With a right act as a person your personality reflects as you wanted luck at your side as always, but gambling was just a chances which you sometimes lose and win. So as for me we have nothing to be ashamed with if we are now ruining other people's privacy, and as long as you're doing the right thing as a gambler managing your funds very well then go on and have fun but never abuse your gambling habits.

yeah the game of chance that leading people into bigger problem in daily lives. what i mean are when you want to make gambling as a way to make profit steady but then it turn to an addiction and messed up your life. wasn't a good thing that people always expected isn't it? even when you win big , people around you sometimes would just see you as a useless person.

If you care about people talking about you, you will feel ashamed to be a gambler. I think gambling is an option so you have to know if someday people around you know you are a gambler then they will think badly about you or they see you as a useless person.

The moment you start to gamble you have to ensure you understand the risk so you will not complain when you lose, expect you lose more because that's how it works and you will only make more money when your luck will come. Everyone is looking for their lucky day to bag a big amount of winning but it seems only a little number of gamblers are having that kind of opportunity, so whatever happen just accept everything.

Yup. What is to be ashame about gambling? You should be ashame on yourself if you are stealing or scam people just to get money. Gambling is for entertainment and not for earning purpose in my opinion. That is the nature of gambling. It's addictive if you can't control yourself. We see some gambling addict because they can't help their selves from gambling.  Maybe in frustration because he want to recover from his loss. And for that, he should be ashamed of himself because he has no discipline.

It’s not only about satisfaction. Greed is good for progress in life if you fulfill it by right means. Gambling is considered as an easy method of earning huge profits by some that’s why they do it. Their high spirits are not crushed by one or two defeats so they keep on trying till the end. We all know what the end is in most cases.

I don’t think that being a gambler is something to be shameful about. If you have earned the money by yourself and use it in gambling just for the sake of fun, then the whole thing remains confined to your own self .

Gambling for fun is something totally different because mostly, people who gamble are profit seekers and their main aim is to increase the capital. The main reason behind addiction is to win back your losses trying again and again eventually ending up with nothing.

I am not really comfortable when someone watching me play, but that's your parents you should be honest with them.
Actually if you can afford what you spend there is nothing to be ashamed of because losing is normal in gambling, what we have to be ashamed of is if we steal money to gambling, in your case you work for it and when you win your are happy but when you lose you have to accept that as not everyday is your day.

What perks are you talking about in gambling, its only either you get profits or you end up in a loss. There is no where any casinos or anybody provide you anything when you spent and xx amount you will be getting something irrespective of you win or loss. Infact losing chances are much more and people who cannot understand that it is for fun who need to gamble end up becoming a addicted to it to just earn the money from this casinos or online sites.

things that make a lot of people shame are the moment when general public around you really not welcome to a gambler like you. you will feel like alienated. and that makes you not comfortable and in the end you will feel so shameful , i have experienced it too.

the feeling are so annoying , that is the only real reason why people should be ashamed under certain circumstances.

We feel the same thing but im not relying on gambling which is i can't even assured the winning and profit from it since i avoid my self to not that too much attach on gambling because my parents known that im playing gamblng online with bitcoin but the good thing is i never depend on them i never ask money just to fulfill my needs.

I am not a gambler and I am hell proud of it. I have no respect for this game and same stands good for who have indulged themselves into it. More pathetic is that they think, they have really won but in reality somebody is fooling them around for his own purposes. I don’t want to be someone's tool and then tossed away when they are done with me.
